Kolako was on edge.
Ever since Chiara had come, ever since the blueblood had attacked her lusus, she'd been on edge. Almost feral, anxious and nervous. She didn't want a repeat of what'd happened, especially with his current health. She wasn't willing to watch him die, not again.
So when she'd heard the tell-tale sound of leaves crunching and the calm sound of a soft tune, Kolako knew not to take it lightly. She leapt out from her hive, checking on the weakened lusus keeping watch. He looked up to her, but made no comment. Her expression was harsh, unforgiving. He didn't like what she was turning into. But he couldn't change how she felt, her rage, her fury. So he watched her leap away, off to hunt her prey.
She watched the yellowblooded teen from afar.
Sure, she knew a yellowblood. A sweet, friendly, shy yellowblood. But she'd also known a blueblood, and look where that'd gotten her, huh? She didn't know what she expected from another troll. Kolako's sharp nails dug into the bark of her spear, looking at the blood stained feather on the weapon and wincing. Ninfia wouldn't have been okay with this, not at all.
Then again, where had Ninfia been, when everything happened?
No where. No one heard her begging, no one except Chiara.
And no one would hear it again.
Kolako readied her weapon, adjusted her grip, and let it fly.

That smile made Kolako's expression curl into distaste. Kolako hissed, sharp teeth bared as she watched her weapon rise. Kolako was a little dumbfounded as she watched the spear crackle with teal energy and shoot directly at her. Kolako managed to dart away before it impaled her, but it slashed her side and landed on a nearby tree trunk. Kolako snarled in pain-- What was that?! Kolako was pissed off after seeing the yellowblood throw her weapon back at her so easily. "Everyone is an enemy." Kolako retorted, pupils dilated and fierce. "Now leave this forest!" She hissed in anger, wanting to be alone and her side of the forest to be empty.
"You wanna try this again?" Kolako was not amused by her annoying attitude. Fishing an item from her hip pouch, the redblood cracked the weapon before flinging the explosive walnut at the yellowblood with the intention of paralyzing her with it. It exploded near the yellowblood and landed on the ground with a puff of smoke. Tugging her weapon from the tree, Koko extended a fist and aimed, thumb up, eye closed. She directed her attention near the spot she'd been in, arched her back and let the weapon soar, calm and calculated. Now all she needed was the sound of a telltale thwunk.

"Everyone is an enemy, but especially if you make them an enemy, h-hey—!!"
The walnut landed near her, the sound disorientating. Maybe it was her position as a psionic, but there was something about excessive stimuli—usually short, harsh bursts—that really seemed to effect her more than the average troll. She swore, staggered backwards, opened her eyes just in time to see the weapon angling back at her.
"STOP."
There was another crackle of energy, this time it threw the weapon aside, exploded into a burst that snapped at the tree Kolako kept monkeying around in. Sure, the weapon didn't land true, but her head was still killing her, and Trusci felt something strange for a moment. She'd lost her cool. She fumbled, just a little bit. Now her smile was a little more sinister, a little more forced, a little more angry.
"You're bein' a real b***h Wildchild. The ******** did you go?"

"They bring it on themselves." Kolako hissed in anger, remembering the pain Chiara had put her through, the pain she'd put herself through because of her own stupidity. She allowed herself to trust others, and that had been her first mistake. Not again. Never again. She heard no thwunk this time, only the sound of protest-- "STOP." Kolako clicked her tongue in irritation, glad she'd made her the least bit frazzled. She wasn't the only one taking this seriously now.
All she heard was the telltale signs of something whizzing through the air at top speed before her own weapon slashed at her shoulder, drawing a hiss out of the feral child as she clutched her arm in pain. She grit her teeth, grabbing her weapon and tugging it out of the tree before she dropped from the tree, falling from branch to branch so as to fall lightly on the ground. Experience taught her to avoid making a sound as she fell, aiming to attack the female one on one. She could see her shadow in the smoke, walking slowly toward her. "I warned you to leave. She hissed, eyes narrowed, mouth pursed with silent anger.
"I warned you." Kolako lunged.
