Cali pays a visit to the troll that saved her life.

For as often as the reckless tealblood was out and about doing Gog knows what risking his hide on most nights, this night he had decided to stay in practice some bass chords and chillax at his pad. Though what may be considered a relaxing night for him would probably be described more along the lines of a cacophonous racket by his neighbors.
Hawkin was practicing his bass guitar, with the amp, while simultaneously having a completely different song blaring on his oversized speakers, not to mention Papbeats trying to act as a megaphone metronome for his charges musical practice. To Hawkin he was relaxing with some chill tunes, while overlaying some bass chords to make it even better! Isn't high volumes of noise just the most calming?

Unaru

Calida adjusted her gloves and the basket on her arm. Her outfit that evening a far cry from her usual formal wear. She wore a vibrantly green hoodie with long gray sleeves and matching gray hood. She wore denim jeans and rusty colored hightops. Her bangs pinned back by a dusty yellow flower and accented by the only consistent, green spikes that poked through her thick and wavy hair. What was such a colorful troll doing in a place so obviously above her class? Well, she was looking for the troll that saved her life.

The address she'd been given wasn't too hard to find, but the noise that was reverberating the entire hivestem really was hard to handle. She hand her hearing sponges covered in order to not go def, but this left her with a very real problem: she needed to knock on the door but to do that she needed to uncover her ears unless. She puffed out her cheeks and gave the door to the hive a swift kick and then another one. HOPEFULLY she could be heard through the noise.

Hawkin remained ever oblivious of the kicks coming from his hivestem block door as he lounged in a beanbag chair shredding away on his amp. It all sounded much better to him than, well, anyone else. Luckily for the young green blood, Hawkin's lusus Papbeats was the responsible one between the two.
Hearing the knocks he pattered over to his boy and started making a high pitched beeping noise and tugging at his sweater sleeve. Finally understanding there was someone at the door, the tealblood set his bass to the side and went to answer the door.
Unfortunately as he opened the door poor Calida was accosted with the full force of Hawkin's sound system. The tealblood started talking, he had a surprisingly soft voice for such a noisy troll. Not a single word could be made out until Papbeats finally climbed up on the sound system to turn the volume dial way down.
"...the way, those are some sick new arms ya got there. So how's it goin' dudette?" Hawkin seemed unaware that there was just about no way the greenblood could have made out this bulk of his greeting.
