He’d sent an invitation to Preacher, things were strange since their return, and that feeling wasn’t going to change any time soon. They had re-written the world, or at least, the world, as they knew it. It made for strange thoughts that raised hairs on the back of his neck but it gave him no real direction. No idea what he could do with those thoughts.

Instead, since he was already marked as ‘magical’ thanks to his eyes, which alone got him strange looks he thought perhaps he could just work with Preacher again. She was new to all of this, and selfishly, perhaps he could feel useful for a little while.

He thought about the page he had taken as well, wondered how that fit into the grand scheme of things, or if it was something more like the stone. A curious object that apparently had a mind of it’s own, and might never do anything more than live in his hand.

He checked the time, and then glanced around again for Preacher, he planed to see if they could step into ‘Other’ Ashdown together.
