As the pink haired man counted he could hear the sound of a man who managed to make his way upon the building. Cocytus' body moved to create more distance than the man intended there to be. As such when he landed the man would find himself thirty feet away from him instead of ten. The first word out of his mouth was...Baka....what did that even mean? Cocytus was unsure, however the way the man spoke about himself made it seem like he was a well known person. Perhaps this was the kind of person he needed in order to accomplish great things. The glowing blue eyes of the pink haired birkan looked at this 'Flame Emperor.' He was ready to move at any moment as always however would take the time to talk to this man...maybe.
He released som sort of battle cry, during which Cocytus would once more create distance from the man. Intending on keeping the distance between himself and this Flame Emperor at least thirty feet at all times. Unsure of whether the name was just for show, or if fire was really this man's game. Cocytus would speak after Hatori finished. "You, seem strong. You have a lot of good to say about yourself Flame Emperor. However we are both merely specs of nothing to the world regardless. Perhaps your name can go down in history...if that is what you want...as I can only assume from how you boast, how you hold yourself high. Perhaps we should align instead of fight. Two specs that can slowly become larger...more prevalent. Two names that may become ever present in the world's history." He spoke, and as intended would keep his distance from this Flame Emperor. Were he to reach the edge of the roof if this man made motion towards him he would give it a bit more distance before taking new action, and should the man run towards him well...who knew what would happen then.
During the pirate's words. The marine Rango Hatori was picking his ear. Sniffing one of his earwax's.
Hatori was trembling with excitement! Sprinting forward towards Cocytus. Not even literally letting the pirate finish what he was saying. Since Hatori had already evacuated everyone around. He could fight till his heart was content! Literally!
His feet moving incredibly fast! Hatori would sprint up to Cocytus! Throwing an extremely bold front kick forward to the pirate's chest! In order to kick him off the building, it seemed. Covering his kicking leg, in an invisible armor known as Busoshoku Haki. During the kick! Hatori grinned!
And as such, with the quick movement of the man who intended on kicking him and the distance that he already had between the Cocytus would make his way away from the man. Running diagonally upwards keeping about 20 feet of space between himself and the other as he ran should the man be able to follow. However the trail of ice which he was runnin up would disappear from behind him as he continued movement. Taking to the air above the island and simply running towards the ocean, completely avoiding the man hopefully for a while until he would reach the water surrounding the island.
A fight. Rango was there, but it wouldn’t hurt to spectate and learn from experience. Cocytus was about to get kicked, unsure of how he would get out of that one since her teammate was so fast. Masae would not wait to see if that man got kicked off or not. Nope. Instead, she headed for the building, reaching the roof in the same matter Rango had, reporting into central what she was seeing. Her head popped up like a daisy, and Masae only had time to swivel her head in Cocytus’s direction, before snapping her fingers one. She didn’t know if she would make it or not, but icicles rapidly formed and imploded into themselves as it made their way to Cocytus,
“ Rango, I’m gonna need you to not sit there and blast his a**!”
Hatori sprint after Cocytus keeping his eyes on him, and the direction Cocytus fled like a coward!
"Masae-chan! Follow me! And by follow me I mean! Always! Always! Stay behind me!" The marine swordsman roared still sprinting forward chasing Cocytus!
Hatori chased Cocytus keeping his eye on his exact location! Also keeping track of the trail of ice that Cocytus was leaving! Hatori smirked. It was all enough to follow him. At the end of the trial of ice when Cocytus decided to rely on his feet.
Always keeping their distance apart 20ft still sprinting!
Until the trail of ice was gone which Hatori then activated Kenbunshoku haki! "Basic Kenbunshoku Haki!" Hatori continued to keep track of Cocytus. And since his haki was activated, he could also keep track of Masae.
His haki's distance was 32 ft.
Clenching his fist Hatori was finally right behind Cocytus 20ft behind him. While Cocytus was nearby the water surrounding the island! "YOU CAN'T RUN! THIS IS IT! FLOWING SPIRIT LIKE FLAME!!! TAIMATSU !! (Torch) !!!"
Hatori unleashes a great inferno from his right hand! A giant scorching wave of flames directed straight at Cocytus.
If Cocytus was in a boat. The boat would be completely destroyed burned in flames. Exploding from impact of the great inferno.
50ft of fiery blazing firestorms targeting straight for Cocytus. Unless Cocytus DF ability had enough raw power to hold back any of the flames. The pirate Cocytus would be burned, engulfed in flames. Or forced to jump in the water, and fall to DF effects. Losing his power under-water. Sinking.
As Cocytus ran to attempt to get an advantage by being near water he was suddenly struck by ice from no where. He was confused, he had not created such so what exactly was that? It was more bothersome than it was painful but none the less it made him a bit alert...more aware than before. As he would land on the water, an ice platform below his feet flames came from the man who was still in chase. He figured maybe he could do it, although had no reason to believe it possible. He would unleash a dome of ice from around him, pushing outwards towards the flames which in turn temporarily clouded his own vision. Of course as he had expected the flames cleaved a hole through his dome with relative ease, and continued onwards towards him, although the dome would keep expanding up to 50 feet before disappearing, it had a large and clear hole that just about anyone could easily fit through. Making movement to create more distance between himself and the man while the flames came for him he figured he would try one more thing. His body would shift as he was hit by the flames, turning into ice as if he were attempting to phase but to no avail. The lack of pain that occured when he phased through attacks did not come to him, it was merely a firey burning pain from the flames covering him. He figured that wasn't going to work either but confirmation was good. It meant that in the face of flames, heat, and anything else of the sort he knew he was not in a well made position. He had a natural disadvantage until he simply got stronger than it somehow, if that was even possible. Regardless after the flames would disappear, his platform melted he would quickly create a new one before plunging into the water. However he knew at this point he couldn't win. He had to escape, plain and simple, and the platform extended into a trail as he ran along the surface of the ocean.

Masae looked at Rango, then at Cocytus, and at where he was going. The dome coming in their direction was either fizzled out, or destroyed by Rango’s power. Massive. She would awe, but now wasn’t the time. Hopping off the platform, she kicked off from the building, and shot down at the sand, firing a single bolt from her cross bolt. The dart snapped at the rope anchoring the boat, and it started to drift away. With her momentum, she launched herself from the shore, and into the boat. Turning the sail with the wind, it started to speed up, and with additional paddling, the boat wasn’t that behind Cocytus, keeping that distance of 20ft.
“ HEY. GET YOUR a** DOWN HERE.”
She yelled at Rango. Perhaps she shouldn’t be screaming at her superiors, but eh, this wasn’t the time. She’ll apologize later and buy him drinks.

Wasting no time. Hatori was still sprinting even towards the ocean. Hatori caught wind of what his marine partner, Masae was up to. Going with the flow. Jumping forward onto the boat with his right hand still out to attack pirate Cocytus. "Taimatsu "Torch" …!!!" Hatori was in the very front of the boat, using his giant Mera Mera no mi attack again. Both Masae and Hatori on boat chasing Cocytus within 20ft of him from behind the pirate.
From Hatori's hand, another of his great inferno flamethrower attack which reached 50ft, would emit from his right hand! First targeting the remaining dome of ice targeting them. Burning a path for them to travel through the dome of ice with their boat. With both Masae & Hatori being unharmed from any ice. Burning the ice before it could reach them.
Their boat went through the area of the ice dome, Hatori burned open with his Taimatsu (Torch) attack. Specifically moving his arm around during the giant flamethrower attack. To burn open a big enough path for the boat to travel through the ice dome.
Once the dome of Ice was completely burned through with his attack. Hatori's giant flamethrower, Taimatsu attack. Would continue on straight through the dome of ice. Targeting Cocytus once again with Hatori keeping a perfect aim at the pirate!
If Cocytus attempted to move in any other direction during his running away. Hatori's arm guided the giant flamethrower in Cocytus same running direction. Inevitably burning Cocytus with the powerful blast of flames! Flames from his giant flamethrower burning through any ice Cocytus might try to defend with.
In order to burn Cocytus once again.
If Cocytus tried to Logia phase. Hatori would keep the flame thrower on Cocytus. Not allowing Cocytus to create ice under himself this time. So that Cocytus would fall through the water during his Logia phasing.
Cocytus wouldn't be able to rely on his Logia phasing, or Frozen Trail to the Underwould techniques this time. Because Hatori would target Cocytus attempting to use either of the techniques. Both attempting to burn Cocytus directly, and make sure Hatori burned the ice trail Cocytus would try to catch himself on with during a Logia phase.

Technique Name: Taimatsu "Torch" Description: Hatori the Flame Emperor, is a Logia, who ate the Mera Mera no mi. This man unleashes a great inferno from a single one of his hands, directed at any target he launches this powerful attack at. The fire generated by this attack completely consumes whatever is caught within it. The intensity of these flames grant + 50 damage during attacking.
That's why getting the job done was so important. For the perfect scenario. A job well done. Hatori was driving the ship. Turning his head to the side. Then back in the direction he was sailing.
Last watching the bubbles stop on the water surface with the Hie Hie no mi user below to sink and die. "Idiot. That's what baka means."
Each one of these blues should of been governed by the marines. Hatori guaranteed never a retaliatory shocking strike. Hatori's head rose looking towards the sky. "It looks like he can't swim back up!" Hatori said goofy smiling!~
"Masae-chan!~ Whoever that guy was. I feel bad for him. You know being a pirate can't be that cool!~" Hatori laughed jokingly with a playful look. "Um, uh. If you were serious. I would like to take you out right now. For that drink. Also, let's get some food, too!~ You know. A girl needs food in her stomach." Marines were pirates greatest impediment. This was just a very clear result on pirates going rampage too much. Hatori was still steering the ship towards another island.
Hatori knew a shortcut to another island. But his job was to prepare for the worst. Now that he was steering with Masae on the ship. It was only nice to interact with her. A heavy sigh released. "I know the perfect island. I've been there once, and it's in the West Blue, too." One marine dominated a pirate that was terrorizing Yo-Yo Island. Hatori's job was done here. It make's sense to treat Masae to some food and drinks. She did a really good job today.
As the man sunk, supposedly left for dead something moving through the water grabbed him, moving up out of the water and onto a nearby beach, where the pink haired man would cough up water and look around confused.

While the island looked interesting Yu decided against docking and continued to sail.
England takes a breath and nods. "Now." England says. He inches forward, passing beyond the alcove's walls onto the sidewalk. Some people are moving about, but the number is small. To his right, the north, a large utility truck is parked by the curb. Next to it, a couple of sweat sanitation workers are taking a cigarette break under a street lam. To the south, his left, a DC metro squad car is parked by the curb, nobody inside. Pulling up directly behind the squad car is a van, parked by the curb about ten yards away from England and group. One of England's pirates seems to be peering at it, trying to see the driver. England looks, too. Hard to make out details, but the features are unmistakable--the skeletal outline of her shoulders, the shark angles of her face. One of England's pirates, the one from college woman, Nina. Seemingly in response, the van blinks its high beams twice. And then turns off its lights completely. Another of England's pirates head drops down to his wrist, his watch. Responding to England's movements and his quiet tapping to get attention. Then England stops, looks up, and waits. For a moment, he is still. Everything is still. Some kind of signal, he thinks to himself Something is about to happen. England's last thoughts before everything goes black. England adjust his jacket and nods to himself in the bathroom mirror inside some private quarters. It hasn't been easy for England to control the other pirates. Like we said before they were all at least twenty years of age older than him. England was well aware of the numbers, of other pirates who hated him at this point, in other blues.
But how many of those people came within breath of taking England's head. Only to see their beads blown off by England's pirates. His young good looks and a sharp sense of victory! England vowed to himself, on the night of super Saturday, his reign would never end. God helped his group--his pirates never were slowed down. And then he did all these things. And now others needed England, living off him as a host. If he makes a mistake, England made the mistake. As if that's not bad enough, he has to defend the mistake as if it was his own. And if he doesn't, if he separates himself, and criticizes anyone, he's disloyal. The critics will lump him in with other pirates anyway, and his supporters will desert him for his failures to stand by other pirates.
It's been a delicate dance.
England's brain turns on. England walks into a bedroom and picks up a radio. Listening in to his pirates talking keeping pace with their routine. A flutter passes through him. "Here we go." He thinks to himself as his pirates continued to guard his bedroom. In a building belonging all to England. England went to sleep.
Black, nothing but black. Fifty people roar in unison around him the next morning. As everything plunges into darkness, street lamps, and buildings, traffic signals, all electricity dead for blocks. England was of course on the move. Headlights from traffic on Capitol streets are halos of light as they pass, spotlights sweeping a stage, while smart others are fireflies dancing about in the dark. "Use your fists." England said smiling. Watching his pirates beat up other pirates that were trying to stop them from leaving. England with his pirates race in the darkness towards a van. Their lives in front for faint illuminations. A light goes on inside the van as the hydraulic side-panel door slides open for us. Many vans plenty for all of them. Now offset against the darkness around us, the college pirates features come into full relief. "Hmph." England watched her from complete darkness turning his head. England was gone out of scene. Out of here.
It had turned out to be a fairly normal day for Claire now that her laboratory had moved here to one of the musically gifted places in the Blues. Of course, it account for something that this included ALL types of music, be it good or bad. She awoke with a yawn, chugged down a mug of coffee and got to work on getting everything out of its box and into it's proper place. "So many boxes and yet, so little time." The day was spent hauling things inside from outside, getting her things all set up and lots and lots of throwing away things. A surprising amount of stuff got trashed that seemed to have not survived the move from home. Then again, considering the stormy waters on that ride it was a miracle that she herself wasn't thrown overboard. All in all it took most of the day and a couple of stains later, the inventor was all set up here. AT least until she realized that she hadn't eaten the entire day.
Her steps took her into the inner city, where the soft hums of closed door songs filled the evening air. She walked along, heels clacking the way while catching a few stares from the passerby. Was it that obvious she was new in town? "What to buy. I could get something to go but that's too unhealthy." Her fingers tapped on her cheek while pacing in the street. "There's something nice and healthy but I don't have the energy for that...." She passed by a noodle cart and would take pause. She glanced down at her hips and slightly chubby stomach. It looked like they would have to take one for the team again. Curse that sweet tooth of hers.
"Worth it..." Claire groaned, three empty bowls lying besides her as she lied on her couch, in a much better mood now. Maybe in the morning she could actually go out and explore the town and burn some of those carbs off. For now, she was just content with lying here and enjoying the moonlight jazz of the island. Yet something stil plagued her mind. Even in a new town, life had seemed so much more boring after exploring the world when she was young. There was nothing to do or be excited for anymore. The only things to keep her busy was her hobbies and maybe staring at the sunset. "Mm...Still nothing. I was hoping the move might have offered something but nope..."
Her arms pulled her up to an open window as she let out a sigh. "I wish something would just fall in my lap. Take me on an adventure again."
