Territory Stealing People have lives. Jobs, sleep, life, etc. We get it. As such, when attempting to steal a territory from another character, they now have [24] hours instead of a mere [12] to respond to your attempt to steal their claim. No more late night steals from morning shift workers~
Defending Against Attacks This one was a bit tricky to finalize, but after some discussion we have officially fixed how using your Defense stat in battle shall work. You may block an attack in role play at will, but it must make sense for why you are reducing the attack. Catching a blade between your hands, sword clashing, gauntlets blocking, etc. This form of blocking costs no Stamina and uses your full Defense but can be subject to mod discretion if your opponent disagrees. Legitimate Defensive techniques are not as limited and can even work against elemental attacks on a case by case basis, but without a coating of Buso, it can be ruled that your technique cannot mitigate damage from say fire, or lightning depending on the method employed.
All Character Slots Unsealedd! Even better than the previous patch, we have decided that arbitrarily requiring you to gain stats to unlock additional characters (especially when casual posting doesn't contribute to this) was silly! You may now make a grand total of [4] RPCs at any time! Go nuts!!

New Devil Fruits! After some discusion and reasonable limitations being considered, the following Canon Devil Fruits are finally being added to the guild officially for your enjoyment: Biscuit Cook Gravity Lick Mirror Mochi Soul Squeeze
New Fruit Ownership Rules! Speaking of Devil fruits, with everyone permitted [4] roleplay character slots from the get go, we have now opened up the limit to let you claim up to [3] total Devil Fruits across your characters! However, there is now an additional restriction. Some fruits have been placed into a 'High Tier' classification and you may only own [1] such fruit per account. The list for such can be found here.
Custom Techniques! Cost, Cooldown, Range and Durations! Custom techniques have received a small overhaul. Tier 1-3 have all had their Stamina costs (and respective boost/debuff potential) adjusted. Instead of 10/25/50, they are now 25/50/75. Cooldowns have also been removed and lasting techniques need only have their costs paid again to maintain their use. Attack and Defense techniques may not have a duration more than 1 post and must have their cost paid every post however. Lastly, Tier 1-3 had their Range/Travel Distances buffed to 25/50/75 ft as well.
Custom Items Rework All starter and store bought equipment is now treated as Tier 1 by default for damage and weapon breaking purposes. Additionally, all firearms have been given a base ammo clip and firing range based upon their Tier and custom Ammunition have a similar restriction as well. All custom items besides basic firearms (which are now guild shop available) must be created by a character with an appropriate crafter trait. Functionality boosts for items at all tiers have been boosted slightly to a nicer number as well. Lastly, all custom items have a minimum Stat Point Total that must be met in order to be created.
Cyborg Buffs! Cyborgs have now been made cleaner and given several buffs as well to compete with other character options. All Cybernetic Parts may use either the base offense/defense values, or the character's own Strength/Prowess (as applicable) or Defense stats for their effectiveness. They can also create and purchase recharge items to replenish uses for their Cybernetic Attachments mid battle as well as spend their own Stamina to press on through bodily strain if need be to use their parts. Finally, Cyborgs have been granted their own 'transformation' ability to compete with other classes known as [Limit Break] which can empower some of their stats and grant them temporary access to more of their created attachments than normally depending on how strong they are.

AOE Size Buff Since there have been quite a few complaints on the matter that we deemed valid, the AOE sizes for techniques by tier has been doubled. Instead of the listed sizes being a measurement of Diameter, they are now a measurement of Radius instead, letting you actually effect an area with your abilities.
Music Hurts! We have deemed that the [Entertainer] Trait was too weak and 'useless' and have decided to allow those with this trait to create sound based damaging attacks finally! However all sound waves that deal damage are now 'visible' as distorted waves and can be seen and evaded like anything else.
No More Airwaves That's right, this old, seemingly worthless trait is now gone! Anything that you would have made using it before, can now simply be done by anyone as appropriate! Have fun with your air slashes and punches and tornadoes kiddies.
Crowd Control Cool Down In order to prevent chaining and permanently CC locking your opponent, the 3 types of 'crowd control' effects will now be given a 'shared' cool down when they are used so as to prevent them from being stacked onto themselves indefinitely. After a [Root] ends, you may not do it again for 1 post. After a [Silence] ends, you may not do so for 2 posts. After a [Stun] ends, you may not do so again for 3 posts.
5th RPC Slots from the Heaven's Above! Yes you heard me right you heathens, you can now indulge in all of your crazy fantasies and enjoy a 5th roleplay character! All limited DF rules by account remain unchanged.

Cripple Removed The custom effect of [Cripple] is now removed, much like [Stun] was as it has been deemed too abusable. Any approved techs using such are now revoked and can be replaced with something else.
Speed Buffs and Tiers The Speed stat itself can no longer be boosted through the use of any technique that is not one of the following transformation forms: Awakening, Hybrid Zoan Form, Elemental Mastery, Final Form, or Limit Break.
Additionally, the speed reaction is now defined as being a full [250] Speed over your opponent, not simply being in the next tier above them. The descriptions for said Tiers shall remain for flavor purposes however.
DoT is like Damage Being effectively the same as ordinary damage only weaker and divided over multiple posts, [Dot] is no longer considered an 'effect' for custom technique restrictions anymore.
Wanted Dead or Dead Merlin, formerly Merlin S. Blackheart, has been given a new Bounty of 500,000,000 Beli and is declared a threat level Omega by Lord Gorosei Oshino K Blackheart himself. He is wanted Dead and in no other condition. He is to be shown no mercy by any Marines and even Mercenaries are implored to use lethal force immediately as well as call for assistance as he is highly dangerous as a former Rear Admiral Marine. He is not to be trusted either.
Simpler Math For some reason, the initial [30] stats of any RPC was not counted towards calculations for HP, Stamina, or Spirit. This will no longer be the case and shall be corrected by the mods for you in all ongoing point updates going forwards.
Strength and Prowess Adjustments! Strength is finally getting it's old limitation removed and you are now finally permitted to use the Strength stat to create effects that would have fallen under the old [Airwaves] trait such as air bullet punches, slicing air blades, Rankyaku and the like. Additionally, all Prowess builds are permitted to create [1] basic attack custom free of charge. This ability has no cost, no boost, and can only have a range or effect as if it were a tier 1 technique.
Anti-Devil Versatility! Anti-Devils may now choose between boosting a single stat by [+10], or boosting 2 stats by [+5] each during Final Form instead from now on.

Stat Gains and Bli Gains Adjusted No longer shall you be limited to the endless cycle of Raid & Destroy, rinse & repeat! Nor shall others be forced to wait o pirate activity to grow in a reactionary way!
Under the new system rules for Character Growth here, you can now gather up stats in a more open and free form manner! You can now gather stats twice per day by posting a total of [500] words each time, netting you a gain of [30] stats. However, to benefit those in groups, not only do you write [50] words less per person in the group total to get your stats, but you also gain an additional [6] stats per time for each person besides yourself to further encourage interaction and doing cool things around the guild!
Additionally, beli gains are considered a separate action from gaining stats, using the same increments of [500] words with group reductions for your total! Marines gain the least but also secure [Commendations] that can get them promotions up to Commander rank! Loners gain the most due to lack of faction benefits while Pirates are middle of the road but also grant them an increased Bounty, subjecting them to the new bounty hunting system!
Bounty Hunting System As per the above shift, you'll notice that the Alarm system is now gone with the removal of standard Raiding and Destruction. How then you ask, does one find a pirate? Simple! You track them down the old fashioned way through gossip, ear say, gathering intel, and the like based on how wanted your target is! The higher your bounty gets, the easier it becomes for people to know your movements and actions to find where you may be hiding. However low time pirates are also now relatively safe, at least for a short while, before they need to fear having people coming for their heads.
Mercenaries are no longer a Faction Mercenaries are officially being absorbed into the Loner 'faction' as you are now able to be un-affiliated to Marines or Pirates, can still 'bounty hunt' and are no longer a criminal for it! You will benefit from general freedom to do as you wish but can still chase the wily pirate or two if you dare!
