○ P E R S O N A L - I N F O R M A T I O N
Personality: Marco was once a very troublesome kid with a history of misbehavior towards adults -including his parents- and violent outburst -tantrums- when he didn't get what he wanted. In other words, he was a little demon who only seemed to be calm when sleeping. After a certain event, he decided to turn over a new leaf after seeing the error of his ways. Since that day Marco has tried his best to become a better behaved child and an overall good person. Marco has developed a shyness, except with his family, as well as a habit for holding doors open for people. He respects individuals who are courageous because he's trying to find his own courage. He believes that every person -except himself- deserves a second chance and will try not to judge people based on appearance or what others might say about that person. He can be very stubborn and determined to a fault. He will fight (not necessarily physically) for his believes and tries his best to make his family proud.
Strengths: Marco is a very creative person and he enjoys exploring that creative side of him. He tends to express his creativity by drawing, but he would never show his art to anyone (too shy). When he's interested in a subject then he will spend hours trying to learn as much as he can about that subject of interest. There are rare times that when things start looking desperate or bad, Marco will rise above and take charge of the situation; these moments don't happen often, but when they do Marco really shows that's a capable leader and problem solver. He places a high importance on the safety and feelings of others, but it can be hard for him to properly express those feelings.
Weaknesses: He's not used to looking on the bright side of things so when things don't go the way he expects them -or they are out of his control- then he's quick to blame himself. This causes him to lose confidence in his actions and second-guess himself. His creativity is one of his big strengths, but weaknesses as there are times that when he's so engulf in his own thoughts that he misses the bigger picture. This causes him to not pay attention sometimes and he can become easily distracted. There are rare times that when he's really annoyed or under a lot pressure then he will revert to his old behavior as a bad boy. He tries to avoid this greatly, but when it happens to tends to sulk, get into fights, and becomes very stubborn; overall he gets into a bad mood and once this mood passes he feels really bad to the point of hating himself and his actions.
Biography: Marco was born in region far away where the primary language was Spanish. He had a father, a mother, and an older sister. His entire family lived in that region and everyone lived close enough to each other that he could go visit his relatives frequently. Marco had a big family with tons of uncles, aunts, and cousins, but no one was more important to him that his grandparents from his father's side and his mother's side. It was during these times that Marco liked to act out...a lot. He was a huge troublemaker and when he spotted something that he liked then he would beg his parents to buy that item for him and when that didn't work then he would cause a scene until he got his way. This spoil behavior eventually led to Marco being rude to his parents and other adults. The only people that he wouldn't misbehave around were his grandparents; no matter what he never caused them any trouble and he had a huge respect for them.
On his seventh birthday, his family announced that they would be moving to a new region. At first Marco thought that this was simply a vacation and he would return home eventually. Unfortunately, the truth was that his family would be starting over in this new region, Sinnoh, in a place called Celestic Town. Marco was not happy with this change especially since he would be away from his relatives and everyone that he grew up with. The first couple of months was spend settling into their new home and Marco whined the entire time (his parents had amazing patience and love for him). Marco enrolled into his new school and that's when hell began for him.
An interesting trait about Marco and some members of his family was their ability to change their eye color. Not everyone in his family had this trait and it wasn't something that any of them could stop. No one knew the reason, but there were times when their eye colors would change to a completely new color and there was no control over this change. To Marco this was normal since some of his relatives shared this trait and no one ever made a big deal about it. However, when Marco entered school and his fellow classmates discovered this "ability," he was instantly shunned. No one wanted to talk to him and at first Marco didn't mind since his first language was Spanish (the kids in Celestic Town all spoke the world's most recognize language, English) so he couldn't understand them. He did realize that he was being excluded, but seeing as he was the "foreign" kid then maybe that was expected until he could learn the language better. The problem started when the kids in school began bullying him for his strange eyes.
To most of the children, Marco was like some sort of villain or bad guy so they needed to "teach" him a lesson. There were some children that simply attacked him because it was fun and with no way to voice his complaints, Marco was forced to take the beatings. This routine continued for two years and Marco had gotten used to the poor treatment he received at school. Any kid that tried to befriend him was instantly bullied as well so eventually the children stopped trying and Marco learned to be alone. His parents tried to help him, but they were also busy going to school for adults to try to learn the language while working at the same time. Marco's older sister did not have the problems that he had; in fact many people in her grade liked her and she integrated well into the town. He complained constantly to his parents, but they were usually tired from work and other problems; it wasn't their intention to neglect their son.
Marco picked up the language quicker than anyone in his family due to his necessity to know what the kids were saying about him. It was his hope that if he understood them then maybe he could talk to them so they would stop bullying him. Unfortunately, this failed as well and he continued to be a loner. Feeling angry and frustrated, Marco didn't know how much he could take until one afternoon he was pushed too far. He was nine years old at the time and some group of kids from his grade all decided to gang up on him. During this struggle Marco could not hold back anymore and fought back against his bullies. While he was fighting, his eyes had changed to a garnet color which terrified the children. Their fear gave Marco the edge and allowed him to beat the kids that had been tormenting him for these last two years. The children all ran home crying and badly bruised. That night, many of the parents arrived at his house and complained about how Marco had attack their children. His parents eventually managed to calm the crowd of parents down and assured them that this would not happen again. Marco's mother confronted him about his behavior; she had always been the stricter parent and she often bumped heads with her son in the past. Marco wasn't having any of that and he screamed at his mother letting out all of his frustrations and blaming her for everything; he even yelled out that she was the worst mother ever and that he hated her.
His mother remained silent as her son cried out to her and it wasn't until Marco saw the tears falling from her eyes that he stopped his tantrum. Seeing his mother cry shocked him because he always knew her as being strong. She didn't say anything and there were no sobs just her tears trailing down her face. It was in that moment that all of his actions from the past -the misbehavior, the spoil attitude, and his tantrums- came to him and he realized just how badly he had acted towards his family. Even before those children started bullying him he had acted like a demon around his family by disrespecting them whenever he didn't get his way. In that moment, Marco made a vow to his mother and to himself that he would change. All these years he was a bad child, but this time he would work towards being a good and kind son. The transition was not easy for him and he continued to be bullied at school, but he didn't fight back. He took everything those children threw at him because to him it was like his own punishment from his behavior in the past towards his family. He started doing more work around the house and helped his parents whenever possible. Every day he would hug his parents and tell them that he loved them. Having no friends left him with his own thoughts so he was left to image many things in his head. He picked up drawing to pass the time and he really enjoyed creating art. His parents would praise him for his drawings which encouraged him to try harder. His relationship with his sister had entered a strange phase since she was older than him so they didn't play together anymore and seemed to occupied themselves with their own business.
Marco's parents noticed the change in him and as a reward he was given his first pokemon for his tenth birthday; a Charmander. Marco was really happy, but at the same time hesitant about accepting such a nice gift. He didn't feel like he deserved his parents kindness anymore at least not until he could truly prove that he was a good son. In the end he accepted his gift and instantly adored his Charmander forming a bond with the fire lizard. The two were always together and Marco was grateful for finally having a friend with him. This happiness was short-lived as the children in his class found out about his pokemon; they tried to take Charmander away from him. Feeling desperate and scared that his only friend would be gone, Marco once again fought against his attackers and again his eye color had changed to garnet. After the fight, Marco knew that he was going to be in trouble and that he would disappoint his parents again; all of his work from the last year would be gone and his parents might never forgive him after this.
To Marco's surprise, when the crowd of angry parents came to his house, his father and mother defended him. After the parents returned to their own homes, Marco's parents spoke to him and they explained that they understood he was just protecting his pokemon. He still felt bad for causing them problems again, but it was nice to know that his parents trusted him at least a little more now. Another year passed and when Marco turned eleven his parents talked to him about a place called Ordell Academy. This school was meant to help children grow so they can become pokemon trainers. Marco never thought about becoming a pokemon trainer before, but he was very interested after his parents explained the academy to him. This was also his chance to prove to his parents that he could change. If this academy was offering him a new start then he would gladly take the invitation. Marco applied and was accepted to the academy. His sister tried applying as well, but she was denied and this caused some distance to form between Marco and his sister.
Marco bid farewell to Celestic Town and packed his bags. A new journey had just begun for him and his Charmander.

Biography: [ b i r t h ] - Cécile was born barely eleven years ago to an empty home. He had a family and he had a house, but he could never call that place his home. His father was a violent drunkard and his mother was far too meek to put up any kind of resistance to his angry attacks. It was into this unfortunate situation that Cécile, a poor, sickly child was thrust into.
[ c h i l d h o o d ] - Cécile himself had always been a sickly child, however despite his weakness, he never failed to step in and try to save his mother from his father's unpredictable beatings. When he was seven Cécile once again fell under his father's wrath to save his mother, only this time, the boy didn't walk out with just scrapes and bruises. In fact, he couldn't walk at all. In a fit of drunken rage, Cécile's father threw the small boy down the stairs, dislocating two of the vertebrae in his back. From then to this day, Cécile has been condemned to a wheelchair, and was told that he may never walk agian due to the severity of the injury.
[ e s c a p e ] - Although the signs weren't well hidden and the excuses pretty flimsy, no one seemed to step up and help this poor child, that is until he rolled into his second grade class claiming that he hurt himself climbing a tree. His teacher, Miss Angé refused to believe such a lie and began her investigation. Slowly, she gathered evidence, and when Cécile found out that she knew, he became terrified. He denied it profusely, not wanting her to come to harm. But when Cécile's mother ran off one night, leaving her child to be the target of his father's abuse, she could stand no more. Child Services were called once enough information was gathered, and he was taken into Foster Care. As a parting gift, Miss Angé gave him his first Pokémon, a Ralts that was aptly named Angel, so that he would never be lonely again.

They took the boy to heart and from them, Cécile was able to earn the confidence he needed to try and move forward in life. First step; Odrell Academy, the nest; a Pokémon journey of his very own. As a parting gift, they gave him a custom made wheelchair made for outdoor travel and the mind set that even he could do anything he put his mind to.

Personality: Faye is the only child of a wealthy couple. Due to her upbringing, she has become inherently spoiled and self centered. She constantly seeks to be the center of attention and becomes rather pouty when she's denied this. Somewhat arrogant and snide, she can be easy to get along with...so long as she gets everything she wants. Faye tries very hard to hide her insecurities, abandonment issues and loneliness behind the image of a popular, well liked girl bristling with confidence and power. No one has every really tried to get to know Faye on more than a superficial level, so she doesn't know if she would be a good friend to someone or not.
Strengths: Faye has been given the best all her life. As such, she has a very clever mind and a pension for remembering small details. She is also very eloquent with her words, easily able to weave a charming, charismatic conversation. She is also has an interest in music. She's studying and starting to be able to play the piano, violin and flute. She has a talent for art as well, a pension for mixing colors and creating pictures. Though Faye wouldn't say it out loud, her juvenile activities have also given her a bit of a working knowledge of alarm systems and locking mechanisms.
Weaknesses: If anyone were to dare question Faye on what her faults were, she would stick her nose in the air and simply say she was perfect and completely without flaws. Which would show off her first shortcoming. Faye is quite stuck up and arrogant, sometimes leading her to misjudge a situation. She has a hard time accepting her mistakes, often trying to blame it on someone else, as she takes failure very hard and close to heart. Faye is also the image of the bratty child, trying constantly to get the attention of her vacant parents. This means she often takes out her aggression and personal issues on those around her. Or goes looking for trouble and a bad situation....usually succeeding in finding it. Having studied mostly business and economical education, Faye doesn't really know much about how to treat or train a Pokémon, so she treats them more like a pet than a partner.
Biography: How to describe Faye Valeri Rhoades? Well, to put it in simple terms....a humongous pain in the rear end!! Faye was born in the mid sized town of Olivine Town in the Johto Region. An only child to a wealthy family, Faye grew up near the ocean and wanted for nothing. Which wasn't necessarily a good childhood to have. Faye's parents were....well...they weren't really parents at all. Truthfully, Faye barely spent anytime at all with her Mother or Father. The two were always away, either on some exotic vacation or at a fundraiser ball...or out tending to their multiple business's. Either way, Faye rarely saw her parents and was raised mostly by the household staff members.
The maids and servants of the vast mansion were kind enough and did their very best to raise Faye, but nothing in the world can quite replace a parent to a growing child. Especially if those raising said child fear for their jobs and livelihood if they attempted to discipline Faye So for this reason, Faye became a problematic girl. She spent her parents money completely frivolously, sometimes going so far as to buy out entire stores ware. She made unreasonable demands of her guardians, things that were completely beyond possibilities of being carried out....then would throw tantrums of such epic proportions that she earned the nickname "Banshee" as every soul that wished to keep their senses intact would be wise to run for the hills. Faye often antagonised fights in her private school, usually by starting an arguments then convincing her shallow group of followers to intervene before fists flew so she could watch the carnage.
All this was done in an attempt to gain some form of attention from her parents. Sadly, despite her rebellious actions, her Mother and Father continued to be vacant from her life. This naturally left a large void in Faye's life, leading her to become rather arrogant, spoiled and high handed. Pampered, primped and treated with care nearly equal to royalty, Faye's hid her insecurities, loneliness and fears behind the mask of a popular, wealthy heiress. But she would often curl up in her lush room at night, stare up at the stars and cry to herself, hoping to a silent world that someone would show her some kind of love.
Faye found some minor comfort in developing her musical and artistic talents. She demanded to have private tutors to help teach her about learning to play musical instruments and developing her painting and sketching skills. This helped to temper her somewhat, but she was still a brat at heart. She had little interest in Pokémon truly, but seeing as she was a girl very much in tune with current fashions, she did take some time to learn about them. But really she only put in as much effort as was needed to keep her social standing.
Unfortunately for Faye, her rebellious child antics started to wear on her parents nerve. Rather than discipline their daughter, as parents should, Faye received a letter in the mail informing her that she was being transferred from her private school in Olivine Town to a remote island Academy. The raging tantrum that followed left the staff with ears ringing for a week, but the decision had been made and there was nothing Faye could do about it. A few days later, a renowned Pokémon Breeder came to the Rhoades Household and introduced Faye to a lovely baby Eevee. Bred from the purest lines and given basic training, the Eevee would be Faye's Starter Pokémon. Still upset and not really caring much for the Pokémon, the child reluctantly accepted the fluffy fox, naming her Amirah as it was undignified to not name her Pokémon. With her bags packed and her hometown behind her, Faye was sent to the Ordell Academy. Yet another action from her parents to show the growing girl how little they cared for her.

Likes:
↦ Money/Expensive Items : Faye has been spoiled and pampered all her life. She thoroughly enjoys the luxuries of having a wealthy family name, to the point of excess. She loves a beautifully designed outfit made of fine cloth, a five star meal, exquisite jewellery, rare pure bred Pokémon...anything that is considered fit for the upper class.
↦ Classical Music : There is a comfort and joy Faye finds in listening to an orchestra play a serenade of beautiful instruments. It calms her and helps her focus.
↦ Being Admired : Faye is used to being the center of attention. So she enjoys getting attention from those around her, whether positive or negative.
↦ Stargazing : A guilty pleasure that Faye tries to hide. She loves to look at the night sky and study the twinkling lights. But that's not something a rich girl is suppose to like, so she doesn't admit this to anyone.
Dislikes:
↦ Failing : Faye despises not succeeding in her goals. This can cause her to fall into a black rage or a deep depression, depending on the severity of the situation.
↦ Being Dirty : Faye is a bit of a neat freak. So she dislikes having dirt or mud on her clothes. She'll get roughed up if she has too, but there better be a hot bath waiting on the other end.
↦ Being Alone : Despite having been alone most her life, Faye has always had people around her. So she doesn't like the option of being isolated. She's a social butterfly at heart.
↦ Authority : Faye is used to doing things her way or having her choice be the only one. So being told she can't do something she wants is really irritating to her and often causes her to rebel.

Personality: (_) Athletic -- Ava is more athletically inclined than some of her peers. It's something that she gets a kick out of. (_) Reckless -- In Ava's "great" ideas, she doesn't always think things through completely. She usually opts to figure it out as she goes, which has landed her in trouble before. (_) Adventurous -- Ava has always been drawn to new things. She likes going out and trying new things when she can. (_) Tough -- It takes quite a bit to break Ava. It's possible, yes, but it's something she doesn't like people seeing. (_) Willful -- If there is something Ava wants to do, she'll do whatever she can to put it in motion. Like a lot of kids, she's stubborn.
Strengths: (_) Ava is willing to try new experiences. Be it with activities, food, or people. (_) She has good hand eye coordination. Sports and athletics are something she performs well in. (_) Having met a lot of people in moving around, Ava has decent social skills.
Weaknesses: (_) She doesn't think her ideas through before diving into them. (_) Booksmarts aren't her forte. Tests and quizzes make her really anxious, whether she knows the material or not (_) It's hard for her to do things alone. Usually, she's been with her parents, brother, or friends. She wouldn't ever admit it, but it's weird doing things alone. Seems sad to her.
Biography: Ava is the older child to her Pokemon Researcher parents, one specializing with Grass types and the other with Bug types. For the Stenson family, this meant moving around a lot, depending on where they were going. So far, they've moved to various cities around Kalos and Unova. All of the moving around meant adventures and exploring the areas she was in. Finding new places to hang out with kids in town, or good hide-and-seek spots for when she played with her younger brother, Charlie. Currently, her family is in Mistralton City in Unova, having only moved there a month before Ava would start school.
Having moved around so much, Ava never really had a place to call home. Sure, she was born in Laverre City, but she doesn't have a lot of memories of the place, aside from a few people Ava vaguely remembers. Likewise, she also didn't have too many long term friendships. While they were great when they lasted, she's never been able to stick around to keep them for years like some of her peers had. Although she would try to make friends in her new town, it was always hard to keep leaving these people behind. The only constant she had was her younger brother, who she was close to. When her parents realized this, they decided to enroll Ava into Ordell Academy. She would be able to learn about the world of pokemon safely, be able to stay somewhere for a long time, and hopefully make some long lasting friendships as well. It sounded perfect, and Ava was excited about going. She kept her bag packed and was ready to go.
As a final little adventure, her family took a day to go to Chargestone Cave, just near their new home. Sure, her mom needed to look into a bug type pokemon there, but to Ava, it was a nice family outing regardless. She had been meaning to check the place out anyhow. It was a really cool time, full of interesting kinds of pokemon. That was where Ava caught her Joltik, one of the tiny bug pokemon living in the cave. He's a shy little thing, but overtime, he began to warm up to Ava. A few days later, the two of them set off for the academy.

Personality: Honest and straightforward, courageous, kind-hearted, tomboyish, adventurous, realistic, nature-loving, stubborn, hard-working, self-motivated. Strengths: Despite her young age, Xia-tian has a very strong sense of justice due to being brought up in a family composed of a long line of pokemon rangers. However, due to lack of experience, she can only judge each action being purely either white or black. Thanks to her father and his parental side, she is much more attuned to living in nature (jungle, forest, etc) than living in city. It's easier for her to get along harmoniously with pokemon than people. She's very energetic and eager to learn of the surrounding and pokemon living in the wild, always trying to push herself to continue through exhaustion. She is capable of taking care of herself to some extent, being quick to learn from her mistakes and performing responsibility as individual. It has been noted that she's good at remembering things she encountered or learned from somewhere; one has remarked that she possesses an eidetic memory, but it has never been confirmed by real professionals. Last but not least, she has been learning and practicing Tai Chi for awhile and plans to continue so, yet she is only slightly above beginner level. Weaknesses: While gaining the ability to get deeply connected to pokemon, Xia-tian become an amateur in comprehending the trends of the big city and sometime isn't very liked by kids of her age--mostly girls. Growing up in a house full of males, she tends to move and think like a boy and can be impulsive and alittle reckless sometime, indicated that she's more prone to injury than most girls of her age. Because of her straightforwardness and braviery, she may unintentionally appear intimidating and disrespectful in the eyes of both adult and kids. As mentioned in Strength, she has a strong sense of justice and believes in fairness, but not every cases is purely black or white and she still hasn't much experience yet. Thus, she's still prone to making mistakes just like anyone. She didn't really get to meet her mother's maternal side often and doesn't know what to think of them, exhibited that she doesn't put a complete trust to a stranger--even if said person is blood-related. Biography: One would say that Akiko Kisetsu's life was like a fairy tale, seeing she was blessed to have successful modeling and acting careers, to start a family with a handsome gentleman and to have a cute 11-years-old girl named Xia-tian. And well you know what next? The couple was expecting a second one's arrival to the world and into their heart-warming family soon! Anything couldn't be accomplished without labour and diligence, though. Before reaching to this point of harmony, the couple had to go through lots of hardship, to survive through the dislike between their family, and to find common ground amongst their difference. It had been a long, tearful, heart-breaking journey until they found their 'happily ever after'. Now it's time for their first daughter to find her own one.
Like father, like daughter; Xia-tian followed his footsteps. Mrs. Kisetsu kept her maiden name instead and made a decision to live separately and stay at her home city, Nimbasa City, so she could do her jobs easily. She came back to her small family in Lavaridge Town only twice a year. Back when Xia-tian was only a baby, her mother's schedule had been as busy as ever, so it became the father's duty to take care of his baby with the help of his parental side living in the same town. Unfortunately--or fortunately?--aside one loyal spinster devotedly serving Li family as a maid since his parents' pre-teen days, the household had been occupied by males varying in age: a father and four siblings included himself. No longer that was the case now that a baby girl arrived to the house and her existence made things around there much more lively and...interesting.
Xia-tian was a very curious child; she hungrily absorbed things in her surrounding and, when old enough to talk, questioned everything she could to her father, Hua-long (火龙), and the rest. Everyone in the household took turn in taking care of her, so when one wasn't available then the other one could take his place; some occasionally took her to their workplace and gave her a tour around and a brief explanation of their career to her. Her schedule in each day depended on whose turn was it on that particular day, always filled with many exciting family-bonding activities and something new to learn; everyday was an adventure to her.
During a year Xia-tian had turned seven, she was sent oversea to live with her mother and their maternal side of family for her mother's wish to have some mother-daughter bonding time. Xia-tian's father and their parental side was just as wealthy as her mother and their maternal side, if not more. However, the former preferred to live a life of simplicity and green wealth provided by nature rather than to pamper themselves with fame and wealth of different kind. The sudden change in lifestyle took the little girl by surprise and left her confused up to many levels. What the hell was this plastic figure called Barbie? What's a hair dye and why did the head of many people from the city so colorful? Was pink really a natural hair color?
The vacation had come to an end after two years and Xia-tian couldn't contain her excitement to be reunited with her father and others. Once returned, she learned that during the time she was absent from the town, a small family of two had made a move to here and brought a house right beside hers. She heard there was a boy, a very smart one, and he, by coincidence, would be in a same class as her once the first semester started. Aside all good things told by others to her about him, she had no real opinion of her own regarding to him until the two met face to face.
Their first meeting was awkward. Her primary language was mandarin and his was english; one would remark, "What an unlikely pair the two made!" Yet, the two chose to keep company of one another when offered. Having been--and will always be--a fan of all girly, romantic stuff since her pre-teen years, Akiko fell in love with the pair at first sight; thus, to her husband's dismay, she had been shipping them together ever since--you read it right. The woman had even started planning their wedding day in her mind! One would say that she was one of escapees of asylum, if one could read her mind full of all fangirling craziness. Oh, imagine the headaches of a man titled as 'her husband' having to endure that!
Skipped a couple of years into future, 11-years-old Xia-tian was about to become a big sister as her mother was in six months of pregnancy. For now, her mother took a long absent from her works and lived happily with her family in the town. Both parents of hers came into an agreement that it was time to send their daughter to an oversea academy to learn to be independent of them and get better educated in pokemon along with earning the degree too. Once it was formally announced to everyone in the household, her father then gave her a fighting pokemon generally known as Mienfoo. Shortly later, she nicknamed it Fong after one of her uncles. Xia-tian had looked sad at first but then cheered up when her mother told her that her best friend, Hayato, was coming along with her too. "Eehhh, really? Haru is coming with me? Don't worry, Maama! I promise I wont let anything, even a harmless Metapod, to hurt him! I pledge on the honor of pokemon ranger! Oh, should I call Haru over and go through Blood Oat together for reassurance?"
Smiling stiffly, she turned to look at her husband who paled considerably. She was going to have a very loooooooong talk with him.

Biography:
When she was little, she was always teased by kids her age because of her weird sense of style and because she was the only one in her family who didn't even know what Pokemon was. That got her into a state of depression and her family was worried sick. Her older sister, Yui, told her that those kids were jealous because they would never be able to live the life that she had. A great family, a huge house, and her knowledge for Pokemon. Riko told her that she didn't know anything about Pokemon, but her sister says that was going to change. Yui then told Riko a bit about Pokemon, like what they are and what you do with them.
Since then, Riko grew up with some knowledge of Pokemon ( and broke out of depression) because of her family. Her dad was a Pokemon breeder, mom was a top coordinator, and Yui is traveling around the Unova region (she is a Pokemon artist). She would always help them by taking care of their Pokemon, and she befriended many Pokemon around her home. Whenever they had time, one of her family members would tell her about their Pokemon journeys and how they became who they are now. She would always so go adventures no matter what challenges might face her because she always wanted to see new Pokemon. After learning about her sister's hobby, she was determined to become a Pokemon trainer herself. She learned more about different trainers and was the most fascinated by the Elite Four, and that was her dream ever since.
When she was 10 years old, her father decided to let her choose her own starter Pokemon from a huge variety. Riko then decided to choose a female Snivy who was the only one who Riko felt she had in common- who she could relate to. Those two have been inseparable ever since. According to her family, those two "are a strong duo joined to the hip". Thanks to Riko's knowledge, she had no problem taking care of Snivy and training with her (ok, maybe some problems that required her to get attacked by some Pokemon living in the woods).
When she was 11, her mother told her about Ordell Academy and suggested that she enroll there to learn how to become a better trainer. Riko accepted and was off to go. Before she headed off to the Academy, her family threw her a party and even her sister was there, which was rare because she was usually traveling around different cities to see new Pokemon. After that, she headed to the Academy along with her Snivy, with one last promise to her family. She will work hard and become strong, and she will never let them down.

He only really knows about Vermilion City, which is where his dad grew up and where the tourists sail in from. (_) Nirav makes many snap judgments about people, whether he knows them or not. Biography: Nirav, the youngest of four siblings, was born on One Island in the Sevii Islands. He lived with his two parents, his older brothers, his aunt, and his grandpa. A crowded and not very wealthy household, yes, but a happy one. His father was a fisherman who sold in local markets in the Sevii Islands. His mother, a seamstress, who helped to mend and make clothing that people would come to purchase. Some of his household worked as lifeguards on the beach to raise an income, others ran the ferries to and from Vermilion City. Nirav couldn't work, but he helped his mother dye and sew, as well as bought things from the local markets for meals. They were tight for money on multiple occasions, especially when tourist season ended. But they worked together to get through it, be it in taking more hours or in helping around in the house. They all stuck together, a tight knit family. Nirav didn't think too far into the future. For a lot of his life, he assumed that when he grew up, he would find a job on One Island and help support his family, like his other brothers did. Though occasionally, he would hope to leave the island one day. He hoped for an easier life, like the ones he saw in the tourists that came to town every year.
When Nirav was eight years old, Mr. Goto was offered a better job as the captain of the S.S. Anne. Though it brought in a lot more money, it meant he was gone for a whole year at a time as he sailed around the globe. His absence left a hole in the Goto household, but they carried on a bit better now. The Goto boys were able to put more time into their studies. Nirav began learning a lot more Japanese from his grandfather, as his dad was now away and couldn't teach him it. Though he didn't go to any kind of formal schooling, he began to read more for leisure, especially poetry books. As the spring of his 11th year rolled around, his family began to talk of having him sent away for a more formal education, something his brothers had to miss out on. They wanted him to have this opportunity to further himself and have a better life. So he signed up for Ordell Academy. And when the time came, Nirav packed his bags and set off for school.

Personality: Giselle represses most of her negativity, attempting to force herself into becoming her usual self once more. She enjoys talked with people and doing whatever she can to aid them, acting as a sort of mother to the rest of her friends. She speaks in a soft tone, one that encourages others to put in maximum effort to whatever they may choose to do. While optimistic to a point, the child will know when to call it quits and try again at whatever is giving people trouble to come back and try another day. While not really getting mad, Giselle does have her limits, and can become quiet frightening when she loses her temper.
Strengths: ⇛ Courageous: Even after the accident, Giselle remains an outgoing and heroic youth. She never shys away from a challenges, viewing her current status as yet another challenge to get past when approaching something new. The girl views the academy as a new place to hone her skills, dreaming to becoming the best Pokemon coordinator she can become.
⇛ Protective: She comes from a very close family, Giselle viewing her job to be the voice of reason and helpfulness for her friends and such. She wishes to see and celebrate her friend's successes more so than her own, finding their lives and dreams as more important than hers.
Weaknesses: ⇛ Insecure: While the child does place herself before others, she shields her insecurities about herself from the public eye. Some can catch on after a number of meetings with her, and she will always write off the question when the subject is brought up. With repeated pryings, Giselle will eventually open up.
⇛ Naive: Giselle chooses to believe that every person has some good in them, a belief which has backfired in her being taken advantage of. She can sometimes fall for tricks and everything fairly easily. When caught, she becomes flustered and goes along with the joke to the best of her ability unless it is drastically mean spirited.
Biography: Giselle found her calling as a Pokemon coordinator from a young age, having an affinity with them from a fairly young age. Her parents supported her choice in life, her mother having been a reputable coordinator herself and pleased to see her daughter's desire to follow in her footsteps. Around the age of six, she appointed herself as her younger brother's caretaker, spending time with him and watching as did all sorts of super cute baby stuff. Around a few months after her 10th birthday, Giselle was involved with an accident involving a stagecoach being pulled by a Rapidash during a parade. Her younger brother had snuck out in the path of the horse, and Giselle ran out and pushed him aside. The sudden movement spooked the pokemon and used Stomp as a defensive measure. Giselle woke up several hours later in a hospital, her legs having been greatly harmed in the event. While she could still walk, it caused her great pain to remain on them more than a few minutes. She soon found herself confined to a wheelchair and sullen as her mother and friends did their best to cheer up the girl. Her mother found herself too busy to continue her daughter's lessons, but eventually found Ordell Academy and enrolled her daughter in hopes of enabling her to learn more about coordination and getting her out of her sullen state.
