As the present was displayed, he just sort of stared at it. He was never one for the holidays. This was... a little awkward for him.

"Right... I suppose it would be a waste to not accept at this point," he sighed.

"Thank you, then."

"I'm sure it's practical. Not like you'd ever get a gift from Alg or myself that wasn't." Jeremiah shook his head, feeling slightly bad that Shun was a little awkward about getting the gift.

"... but you're welcome and whatever it is, I hope it serves you well."

Shun nodded once.

"Well. I should probably be on my way now. If I come across anything new, I will contact you."

Jeremiah nodded, finishing his cup of tea and then moving to stand.

"Likewise," he said, shifting on his feet to walk Shun to the door. "We need to be more on alert than ever but I doubt that's a problem." A hand raked through his hair. "Ah, yes, text me if you want to resume any kind of training after the holidays?"

It was good for both of them, in all honesty.

"I do not need to text you for that because I most certainly wish to resume training."

Shun got on up to his feet, taking the wrapped package in hand.

"Do take care, though."

"Then we'll start back up after the new year. It'll be good to try things out with magic being far freer than before." Jeremiah lead Shun through the house, holding open the front door. Hellbine darted in as he did so, apparently having been outside.

"I'll see you later, Shun. You take care of yourself too."
