[PRP] Training makes you Tough! [Aconan/Inakov]

Aconan flopped on the dirt, panting. Loupsus made his coughing imitation of laughter and padded his way over to his charge, licking and nuzzling at her sweaty hair. Grumbling into the dirt, Aconan rolled onto her back and batted at her lusus half-heartedly. They spent a few moments gently tussling like this - Loupsus of course only using a fraction of his strength to provide appropriate resistance to his young charge.

"Still, that's half a lap more than last time."

Aconan finally managed to get out between imitating the growls and whuffs of her lusus. Loupsus nodded, and licked his pup's face. Yes, she was definitely improving at her endurance now. She'd always been able to run fast, but now they were working on her staying power, the ability to keep running rather than short dashes. His good pup! Good pup! Pleased, her lusus gave a short sharp bark, before licking her again.

Aconan, helpless, lapsed into giggles at her lusus's glee.

There was the quiet rustling of grass underfoot, steady but slow, accompanied by the heavier padding of a much larger creature -- when enough time passed to make it clear to the visitor that Aconan wasn't dangerous, Inakov revealed herself, brushing back her messy hair with Bundad an intimidating presence at her back. "...Who are you?" She contemplated, saying it, like it was an incredibly serious idea: even if it was just a request for identity.

"Do you want some gum?" Her hands fiddled away in her pockets, hidden from sight - she did have gum, and it was very good indeed, so that seemed like a nice place to start. (Bundad whuffled, nuzzling the back of Inakov's head, and she gave a weary smile and reached back to scratch under his chin.) "...It's really good."

Aconan and Loupsus perked as one, turning to Inakov at the voice. Aconan swept into a bow as they realised Inakov's higher blood colour. That was polite, right? Aconan was working on politeness. Loupsus chuffed and lolled his tongue in his own version of a hello.

"I'm Aconan!"

Then the other person offered her gum. Aconan didn't really like gum though - it was like food....you couldn't.....eat? It was weird. Still, it was a nice gesture, and it was obvious that Inakov meant well, so Aconan bounced forward and stuck out her hand.

"No thankyou! But nice to meetcha."
