Hokulani Observatory is located at the top of Mount Hokulani and is where Sophocles' trial takes place and where the Totem Pokémon, Vikavolt, is fought.

Trial #5: Mount Hokulani

Trials do not need to be done in order, require 15 wild pokemon encounter posts to initiate, and reward one dimensional shard upon completion. You must roll for the attacks of both the Totem, and any allies it has out, unless specific attacks are listed for certain rounds. Whoever goes first is pre-determined and fixed, and cannot be changed by items or stat changes. This is to make things a bit more challenging for the easier trials, and easier for the more difficult ones.

Trial Pokemon cannot be caught, and Totem pokemon cannot be one-hit K.O.ed, and have Totem Aura, which gives them individual boosts to certain stats. These boosts will be stated for each totem. The totem pokemon give out set exp, however, the total experience earned per battle depends on how many pokemon are earned, and how long the battle takes, and EXP Items do not effect EXP earned from these battles. When you have completed a trial, please quote a mod for approval.

PLEASE NOTE: This system is very much in beta. There's no real way to test it that wouldn't hold things up, so we roughed this out to put out with the rest of the guild. As issues arise (trials being too easy, or too difficult), we will make adjustments. This means that if you are one of the first people doing the trials, you should be aware that other people may have to work harder, or may have it easier, depending on the trial, and the adjustments we make. Please know this going in, so that there's a reduced chance of hard feelings or accusations of things being 'unfair'. We're trying our best.
