Previous idea mock up
The new navigation tab I created here will pop up when hovered over with the mouse. In this box we would be able to see the most recent items available their times, and prices. Ideally this would be updated as items are introduced and removed automatically. Newest items starting at the left while older or expired items to the right. With this being easily accessible there will be no need for multiple announcements reiterating the same promotion, nor to remind us when it is coming to an end.
Using live feeds is a much more effective way to reach your users where purchasing GC is concerned. while we get fewer announcements daily - as requested heart
Improves your sales visibility to 100%
Improves customer relations by reducing announcements +
What I am suggesting here is a better way to reach your user base all the time and cutting back on a few announcement repeats.

Real Time Sales
Creating a drop down box, similar to that of our "Account Settings"/ "Help Center"/ "Log Out" options dropdown box, will allow us to consistently see what current deals are available to us. As you are aware, many of your users currently ignore your announcements. Repetitive announcements have become invasive, commercial and aggravating to many. However, it still remains important to those of us who like to purchase Gaia Cash and Cash Shop Items. We certainly won't miss our opportunity to take a coupon code when available, don't worry about that! I mean that is what the little coupon icon in the corner is for, right??! The one right next to the "SALE" tag that tells us there is always a sale (and a great one at that!), but we never know how much or how long.....
Use these icons to their full potential!
Change the "SALE" tag to a real time sale percentage, while the dropdown box lets you know how much longer the sale is going to last. Below that are the current coupons available for claim and their timers. Each coupon icon would link you to the appropriate current coupon description and its code. We wouldn't need an individual announcement for each coupon, since we are going to use them anyway, we would just need to pick which one is right for us!

Live Feed
Where item sales are concerned, creating a live feed at the top of every page here on Gaia we would be able to see the most recent items available, their times, and prices. Ideally this would be updated as items are introduced and removed automatically. Newest items starting at the left, as we scroll to the right, older or expired items. With this being easily accessible there will be no need for multiple announcements reiterating the same promotion, nor to remind us when it is coming to an end as it will be seen everywhere we move, thus giving us the option to click on it, or not. All new items always on top, no matter where we navigate on Gaia, even guilds and inventory.
With better sales visibility, and a happy Gaian, revenue should increase and may allow the company to regulate sales and discounts to a more lucrative pace.
