Lunaria, or Luna as she was called by her animal friends, was in her wolf form. She had just stolen some food and was running from the shop keeper. The shop keeper was throwing stuff at her and managed to nick her in the leg with a pot just enough to make it hurt. She fell but didn't drop the food, she wasn't about to stop. She hid behind a trash can in the nearest alley way, using her abilities in this form to keep herself from detection. While her animal friends were keeping an eye on her to make sure she wouldn't get caught, or anything. She started to eat once the shop keeper left the alley way. She growled as she did, as she was starving not having eaten all day yesterday. Once she ate her fill, she left the rest for her crow friends to finish off before she started to limp off. She had a friend with her before this but he was caught and told her to run and not look back. She missed him. Though he did say that his father was a member of the fairy tail guild in town. He tried to tell his father, who used blue fire magic, about her, but her kind were thought to be rare in this part of Magnolia since they usually stayed away from this town. Luna was a bit shy around news people but did what she had to in order to survive. Poor thing was an orphan since her parents were killed in front of her a few years ago. Her animal friends were her family now, but being that she was only 4 years old, she didn't remember what it was like to be in a family that cared for her. She was only two years old when her parents died. She managed to get away because of her father. She never wanted to be hurt like that again. Though she did have a locket around her neck that she was given. Inside was a picture of her mother and father and herself as a small baby. She was too scared to get too close to anyone, except her animal friends. They'd do anything to protect her. As she limped towards her home, she ran into Gray and Juvia, but hid, hoping they didn't see her. Her leg hurt badly but it wasn't broken, only sprained. She winced as she let it dangle in the air hoping they'd think she was a lone wolf pup and leave her alone like everyone else in Magnolia.

Gray and Juvia

Gray and Juvia were walking back towards the Fairy Tail Guild Hall from a completed mission with Juvia grinning and hanging onto Gray's arm with a bright smile upon her lips, whilst Gray shook his head slightly and said "Juvia, must you cling onto me quite so tightly?" Hearing his words Juvia pouted saying "But Gray-sama...." as she looked up at him with wide, hopeful eyes causing him to roll his eyes and look away.

Suddenly Juvia was aware of something small bump into her legs and she saw a small wolf dart away and move behind some boxes. Pouting she noticed it's limp and released Gray's arm to kneel down near the young wolf saying "Hey little thing.... are you hurt? We can help you if you come out..."

Luna's crow friends were watching from a rooftop over her. The leader cawed at her, in a protective way before she flew down and landed in front of the two strangers, with a small hiss trying to protect the young wolf girl who looked really scared as she had backed away from Juvia. The crow attacked, pecked at Juvia's head flapping its wings trying to scare off the two strangers, but something made Lunaria trust Juvia and Gray. She quickly transformed while no one was looking, and said "Stop it Twilight!" in a strange language, before the crow stopped, flew over to the little girl now standing before Juvia and Gray, and landed on her shoulder. Luna was shaking some as she stood before the two strangers who were trying to help her. Poor thing's clothing was tattered and she certainly looked like she needed a hair cut since her bangs were covering her left eye, which she was blind in. "I'm sorry that Twilight attacked you ma'am........" She said in a shy meek voice. It was obvious she'd been through a lot, and that the crows and stray animals were her only friends. It was this reason people called her 'bad luck', and tried to stay away from her. That one boy though, saw beyond her powers of being able to communicate with nature, and the stuff that sometimes occurred when she was upset. She just couldn't control her powers very well. After he stopped showing up, she felt he abandoned her, and never wanted to be hurt again, so she shut herself away from others.

Gray and Juvia

Juvia smiled reassuringly at the young girl replying "it is ok little one, it's clear that he was only concerned for your safety.... we are strangers after all. But what is such a small child like yourself doing living on the streets?" there was concern in Juvia's voice for the young girl. Gray looked over the young girls tattered forms saying "You should come with us to the guild hall.... we can get you healthy there.... clean you up, and give you a good bath, aswell as make sure all is well with you health"

Luna looked up at Juvia and said "Really? You mean it?!" as her tail began to wag happily as she got her hopes up that Juvia wasn't pulling her leg. SHe smiled as she did this. Her bangs were hiding her left eye as she was embarrassed about the fact that she was blind in it. Twilight stayed on Luna's shoulder, keeping her guard up for the child's safety. Luna had a habit of getting her hopes up, and then getting them crushed afterwards. She then hugged Juvia and said "Thank you!" as she hugged the water woman happily. Luna was so sweet, and only wanted someone to love her. Twilight would go with Lunaria for protection reasons, not wanting the sweet girl's heart to be broken again. The last time she trusted someone, her heart was broken into a million pieces, and it was a few days before she'd eat again.

Giggling Juvia smiled and nodded her head wrapping her arms around the young girl as her leg was hugged "of course i mean it sweetie! I hate to see such an innocent and kind girl be forced to live in such horrible coniditions!" offering a hand to the young girl she said "C'mon now.... we should get there before it gets too dark to see!"

Luna smiled as Juvia said what she said. She then took Juvia's hand as Twilight rested on the girl's shoulder. Then Luna remembered something. She whispered something to Twilight, before the crow took off, and came back quickly with a stuffed animal, which Luna had always had with her. It was a stuffed wolf that the girl's mother had sewn for her before she was born. Her father put a protective spell that would protect Luna no matter what. As well as a spell to keep tabs on her magic. Luna smiled and petted Twilight in thanks smiling at the crow happily as she followed Juvia and Gray back to Fairy Tail. Once there, Luna got nervous, as she knew not everyone was accepting of her kind. She went inside though, but didn't look at anyone. She then caught a familiar scent. The boy she knew that broke her heart. Twilight was keeping an eye on everyone who was looking at Luna with disgust.

Juvia kept the girl close to her side as they entered the guild together, both her and Gray glaring at the people who were giving Luna dirty looks. They headed towards a table at the back of the guild hall and gestured for Luna to take a seat as Gray sat down beside her as Juvia asked her "Is there anything you would like to eat or drink Luna?"

Luna shook her head before she remembered that she hadn't fed Twilight. "Can Twilight have some bread please? I always give her some when I can." She said knowing it was the crow's favorite food. Luna felt a bit better sitting next to Gray. Twilight, however, was looking around at everyone who was looking at the young girl. She might have been curious looking, but that was no reason to stare. Then she heard a familiar voice coming into the guild. It was Romeo, with Macao. Luna looked at Twilight, then over at Romeo, but then looked away quickly not wanting him to notice her just yet. She didn't want to let herself get hurt emotionally again. She then pet Twilight to calm her crow friend down, hoping Romeo wouldn't see her.
