She stretched out her muscles as she strolled along the shores of the ocean humming a cheerful song to herself. She grew up around water because her parents adored it and loved the smell of it in the early mornings and cooling breeze that the water and the warm air provided, it kept them cool when they were out and about. She and her family always went out for walks before bed, it gave them a sense of relaxation and she was not going to give up living by the river for anyone, it was part of her.
She paused and lightly dug her paws into the warm sand, she sat down on her haunches with her tail wrapped around her front feet. She took a deep breath in, taking in the smell of salt water and exhaled it. Her parents always taught her that if you close your eyes long enough you can fully enjoy the cooling breeze because your sense of smell and touch were heightened. She smiled softly to herself "this is something that will always remain part of me" She said to herself as she sat on the shore and watched the gentle crashing of waves.

He had never been much for socializing, though Amitola did her best to get him to do things other than stick by himself, but only if he actually followed her. Today was one of those days and he followed behind his companion and just watched her as she danced and wiggled around all happy, without a care in the world. He shook his head as he watched her and it made him smile, just a little, but it was still a smile.
