Vulpin wasn't up to much in the facilities, generally just keep to themself and plucking a souvenir or two, or getting into a fight when they started to feel antsy. Generally, most of their time was being used to take long meowbeast-naps on the support beams. This was one of those times.
Then, the sound of destruction and yelling woke them. Vulpin was disappointed but unsurprised. Gathering themself, they surveyed the area. One of the raiders seemed to be coming right towards them, about to run under the beam they rested on. Plucking a couple of daggers from their bag, they tossed them precisely at the oncoming attacker.
"You shouldn't be here," They announced, standing haughtily on their perch, staring down at the blueblooded raider.

Revenge. Forera was one to allow such a feeling to fuel her every action, unfortunately, but she was used to it at this point, riding the feeling eagerly as she smashed another machine to bits with a pipe. Feeling a deep cut on her cheek, the tealblood cursed under her breath, wiping at the blood and smudging it as much as she could. She'd have to reunite with someone else later, find out who could help her with makeup application or something-- She couldn't allow herself to be found out so easily. A familiar voice tugged at her sound nodes, and the blue-blooded female looked up, thankful for the blue tinted goggles around her eyes. "Y'all started it, scumbag. Our business ain't no ones but our own. And you all decided it was yer guys's turf. Which it ain't." Forera glared. "Why don'tcha get down from there 'n fight me like a real troll?" Forera snarled, punching the pillar, hard enough to make it balk under her strength. She then sturdily grabbed her pipe, swinging it slamming it into the others perch hard enough that it started crumbling, fast enough to hopefully catch the other troll in the wreckage. She'd drag 'em out and pummel 'em afterward, or something...

The trap worked just as planned. Forera grinned widely, twirling the pipe in her hand before slamming it to the floor in efforts to scare him, walking toward the pile of rubble while dragging the metal against the rocky floor. She was soon greeted by three daggers, one lodging deep into her shoulder, another into her other arm, and the last she missed by a hair— It would've landed in her neck, if she hadn't moved. Forera chuckled. "Yer a feeeeiiiiiisty one, aren'tcha!" She drawled, releasing a loud laugh before stretching her back muscles some. "Don't think y'can escape," Forera exclaimed, lifting the pipe like a bat— "I gotcha right where I —WANT'CHA!" Forera slammed the metal pipe into the rubble, having made a very wrong guesstimate of where they were but seeming undeterred. She felt confident she had this in the bag, and even if she was harmed rough enough to die, she'd have Lux and Ets to come find her afterward. They wouldn't leave her.

Vulpin let out a hiss of a laugh, narrowly escaping the other troll's swing. "Nice try, doll," They jabbed, finally recovering themself out from the rubble. The hemoanonymous troll ducked back toward their opponent for a short moment, jabbing at her arms in an attempted distraction.
They were quick to retrieve their weapon and back away, though. For a moment, Vulpin considered holding their ground. Quickly shaking the dangerous idea, they moved to run, far away from this tougher troll.

Coward. Feh, what a rude assumption. Running was always a strategic move. A survivalist's move. There was no point in choosing fights you couldn't win.
Vulpin was startled by the tealblood's reveal. What reason did this troll have to lie, a tealblood? Perhaps, a rebel in disguise? Of course, their immediate assumption went to Forera, but that was too simple of a thought, and almost romantic. They quickly pushed it aside.
In their moment of distraction, Vulpin felt the rock make distinct contact with the back of their head. Hissing, they reached back to cover the wound with their hand, the distinct warmth and wetness proving yes, they were indeed bleeding.
"You <********>," the orangeblood hissed, glancing back for a split second, turning pale at the sight. The tealblood was on their heels, and they knew in that moment there was no escape.

Forera trudged over toward them, ready to pummel them to the ground and ruin them now that they'd seen her bloodcolor. She was undercover. It was more than them attacking their turf-- It'd gotten personal, and Forera wasn't having that. She readied her steel-toed boot, lifting it in preparation to give their head one hell of a kick, only to see a familiar brown drip from the back of their head. Forera froze. She opened her mouth, staring at them as if having seen a ghost.
"V-Vulpin...?"
Suddenly, tears rushed to her eyes. Her lip wobbled. "N-No... No way..." Her body began to tremble, and all tension, all anger she held toward the fleet footed troll vanished into thin air. She immediately started sobbing, body racking with startled, intense emotions. Pain, worry, sadness, and glee flooded her all at once, and Forera didn't know how to express herself in that moment. She simply fell to her knees, unable to compute the sight of her matespirit being right in front of her. This had to be a dream. She wasn't... This wasn't...

Vulpin went slack-jawed. It was Forera, of course it was Forera. Somehow, their emotions knew better than their intellect. It was always like that with her, wasn't it? They shook their head, corners of their mouth forming a weak smile.
"I'd call you a fool for being here, but I'd be a hypocrite."
Vulpin fell to the ground in front of her, embracing her as much as much as their thin arms would allow. They pulled back only to wipe some tears from Forera's face. "Shh, shh, none of that. You're going to make me cry and I spent so much time on my makeup." They spoke low, so close to a whisper.
"You should be laughing. Look, you got me pretty good." Vulpin motioned to their wounds, somehow playful. "And since when did you get this ripped?" They cackled softly, practically begging the tealblood to join in.
