Second wind… Second wind! An exuberant Panili could not wait any longer. Throughout Bloodfest, it seemed there was so much to do and not enough time in the night to do it. Just manning her booth alone used all of her energy – how could anyone possibly take part in every event? She was exhausted simply from the ice fishing competition (for which she won, incredibly), but now she was – of course – back in action. And, back in her wheelhouse. Thank goodness!
Packing up the last of her knick-knacks Shmothma’s saddle bags, Panili gave her a quick pat on the collar. They were off to see someone who had caught Panili’s interest much earlier during the Festival. Someone who, without much conversation or discourse, had piqued the orangeblood’s interest. Hemera Moachm. She’d remembered her name very clearly – with any luck she could catch her before she was gone. Granted an accidental nap and dilly-dalling hadn’t helped Panili’s timing very much… But it was at least worth a shot. Panili considered tracking her down then and there at her home city. But, that would be stalking, wouldn’t it? For an orangeblood to do such a thing was curious at least, but highly suspicious. This was a tealblood, after all. Her stakes in the matters of the hemospectrum were significantly different than someone of her own caste. Even if they shared the same opinions, their perspectives were undeniably different. Regardless, it was worth a try. Support against the Alternian norm was few and far between on this world.

The more Mera thought about it, the more she wondered if she should have outright partnered with the rehab center. Some of the things people were yelling into their bags seemed somewhat...concerning. Especially the repeats who screamed every night. Should she give them a referral or consider this as therapy enough? It was impossible to tell. Anyway, she couldn't just tell highbloods 'you need help'. There was etiquette to consider.
But as she packed up for the end of the event, there were fewer supplies than what she came in with. That in and of itself was a success. People gave it an honest chance. Perhaps that would mean something down the line. Especially for the children...
Mera didn't want to fill her hive with rubber ducks, though. Could she just leave them behind? Otherwise Pagoni might have a fit over the pointless things taking up space.
Trolls continued to walk past on the boardwalk. Even if Bloodfest was just about over, people still wanted a shot to see the sights despite the temperature. She paid them little mind.
As she was packing more ducks, her elbow hit one and it fell to the ground in front of the stall. She hopped over the counter, reached down to grab it, and as she stood back up, something caught her eye. Something somewhat familiar coming her way. Well, maybe not pointedly her way; she couldn't assume.
Either way, the name was on the tip of her tongue. "Panili?"
Sypon This is slightly assumptive but I tried to glean off the post's intent that she was coming by anyhow. Anyway! Happy b-day! Sorry this post is almost a year late :'D
