Bellatora stopped at the edge of the Fire Tribe’s territory, the sudden anxiety, nerves and apprehension of reentering her birth home after a year or so since she ran away in anger. Looking up at the rough terrain that leads to the heart of the Fire Tribe into the volcanic, mountain range. Every part of her body tensed up at the border that prevented her to not move forward.

The young nan remembered the reason why she ran away from her home where her parents and siblings no doubt still lived in. She remembered all the teasing and the conflict between her siblings especially the twins who have such a strong bond that Bellatora felt she was left out. While she loved her siblings, it hurt that she didn’t have what Yoyu and Seika had. It even hurt that while she was the more responsible one, the serious one she would still get in trouble because of her siblings wild antics and how they would help each other escape the paternal wrath of their father Xavier or the scolding from their mother Najila.

Taking a few steps forward, Bella remembered her parents though their image had slowly faded when she became older which left an ache in her heart. Both of them were the greatest parents and while they weren’t totally immune to the antics of the twins of her litter mates, Xavier and Najila were reasonable parents that perhaps were more aware of them but wanted to try to be more diplomatic. She could understand that but even the twins did pull those antics on their parents. Once it was on their father and he lost his temper that they all were punished. But of course after a night he brought them close for a small cuddle with the whole family.

Her heart gave a jerk of all that she left behind, foolish in her anger. Bella moved forward through the outer region of the Fire Tribe territory, looking around to see if perhaps she will meet anyone out here who may know where her parents and siblings are. If there were safe if the whispers were true about the loss of the magi’s from her childhood.

The female needed to know that everyone was safe and if they could forgive her for her departure from the safety of their home. Yet of course she did not know the deep extent from the lost arch magi’s leaving the tribe leaderless. She only heard whispers and well it was time to see if they were true or not along with accepting that the Grand Weaver gave her the sign if not the instinctive inclination to return back to her home. Bella just needed to get through this region of the Fire Tribe first before she could face everything else.

Longwei Feng was newly woven. He awoke in the fire tribe territory but near the outskirts. In the first several days of his awakening, he realized that his tribe was having issues from the lack of leaders and that there wasn't much guidance among the balam of fire. As for himself, he felt deep inside that the weaver had woven him into being for a certain reason. There was just something odd about himself. Time will tell, he was sure of it. But then recently, a large tah came and inserted himself as leader. The words he spun made sense to Longwei and he nodded with them and vowed his allegiance to the new leader, Lord Shen. Longwei now knew himself to be a solider.

Today, Longwei decided to explore the farthest parts of the fire territory (and then work his way in). The outer regions of the tribe differed from the heart of the fire tribe territory. Rock, fire, and lava gave way to trees, grass, and water. There was more of an assortment of balam from other tribes (it wasn't all exclusively fire balam) that came and went. Some stayed as they had mates and family that are fire balam. But where he was exploring today was quite and he didn't see many balam.

A light breeze came up and Longwei stilled. The breeze carried the scent of another balam, a nan. Carefully he looked around him, placing his feet in places that wouldn't make a sound. He came around a large boulder and stopped. Not far off, just outside the boundary of the territory, was a female fire balam. He backed up quickly and peered around the boulder as best he could without being seen. He wished to observe the female before presenting himself. She seemed hesitant to come into the territory of her homeland. How odd, he thought. Why would a fire balam be hesitant to set foot into the lands of her kind? But what he had experienced recently made him wonder if she was against the new leader or a fire balam who hadn't been home at the time and returning to declare allegiance to Lord Shen too.

Seeing that she was clearly alone, Longwei Feng came out from behind the boulder into her line of sight. He was curious about her and felt the quickest way to learn about her being here was to approach. But at the last minute he realized that his imposing presence just might scare her off. And his appearance had cause some balam to eye him warily. He wasn't sure if it was the dragon helmet, the swords on his horns, or the blazing gold dragon down his side that threw others off. His golden gaze was piecing as well but he was still new to himself and this world and that made him a bit clumsy. Longwei straightened up as he reminded himself that he was a strong and proud fire balam.

"Greetings," Longwei Feng called to the nan.

Staring up ahead, Bellatora indeed met someone out here...or rather they....He....approached her from up ahead. Narrowing her pale blue eyes, the Nan tilted her head to the side as all the anxiety, the nerves and even the thoughts that created potential scenarios of a failed reunion were banished from her mind as a unique Tah approached her. He wore a strange helmet and had swords on his horns, which actually looked rather amazing and impressive with the unique markings on his form. The pale, golden eyes were alert and sharp like the very blades, fangs and claws he possessed.

But Bellatora wasn't intimidated though not foolish to let her guard down or to underestimate this stranger. At the greeting he gave her, Bellatora took several steps forward to meet this male at the middle of the pathway, nodding her head respectfully. "Greetings." Came her reply, her eyes relaxing to show curiosity yet still regarded him with caution. He was a stranger and unfortunately caught her off guard by coming down wind and ever so silently. Bellatora mentally scolded herself for not being completely aware of her surroundings...but no she just had to worry about something so silly when she was a fully grown Nan!

Mentally shaking herself, she looked the impressive and handsome Tah up and down slowly before stepping forward. "I hope this area is not your territory I am passing through. If so then I do apologize and only wish to have safe passage to the heart of the tribe.” She explained giving a small smile that softened the caution in her eyes as she wanted to not jump to conclusions so soon about this male. Perhaps he was a guard to the Magi….that is if the rumors were true about what happened to the Magi and what was now happening with whispers of a Tah taking charge of the tribe.

”Though I should first introduce myself…My name is Bellatora.” She lifted her chin as she watched the male, hoping he was receptive to her kindness though if he wasn’t then she wouldn’t mind shutting that down and turning into a cold-hearted Nan that could freeze the fires from just a single look. But there was that hope that it wouldn’t have to come down to that.
