Vega lives and breaths punk rock and alternative music. She has that cool factor around here, especially when she wears her sunglasses at night. She dropped out of high school when she was sixteen and got her GED and never looked back.

Loitering, drunk in public, indecent exposure, fist fighting, torching a bar once ... Then of course there's tagging or graffiti. (It's really graffiti, there's a difference, okay.)

She doesn't like being told what to do and how to do it. If she's going to do something it's going to be on her own terms or not at all. It's why she can't keep a job or a place to sleep. She flits from friend to friend or ends up on the streets when her friends are done putting up with her.

She has no problem with the streets, they suit her just fine. There's no rules on the streets (so she tells herself) and she can do whatever she wants.

When confronted with authority such as teachers, parents, or cops she gets argumentative and potentially blows up at them. Vega isn't afraid to follow up her bark with bite; you'll find a fist in your face if you get in hers.

Even when people try to help her, she comes across hostile. Vega questions their motives and why they're even trying to help in the first place. It doesn't mean that she doesn't want friends, she does, but she can't let go of her own idea of control long enough to really let people in. She'll get defensive and run them off before they can ever get past her prickly exterior.

You'll never be the boss of her because she controls her own fate.

Vega tends to be bitter towards the people she considered friends. At least when they cast her out and have little to do with her again. For the longest time she felt it was their fault, that she was the one in the right and they were just too uptight and nuts. Now she's slowly starting to reevaluate herself and realizing maybe she needs to tone it down... just a tad.

Always able to pick up tuned instruments. She can totally jam on them! ...If she put more time into more than a bass.

The reason she hasn't done jail time is because she was under aged for a lot of her life. She did a stint in juvie after the first couple of times. Now-a-days she's a bit more cautious with how she's getting her emotions across and answering tags.

I feel like I say this a lot, but can you spin out the trouble a little more? How does this affect her socially? What's going to encourage her to try to change, what makes this unsatisfying for her or causes a problem for her (beyond the obvious). Why hasn't she done jail time yet? That sorta stuff.
