KITTEN UPDATE ON THE 1ST MOM CAT.
so it seems today the 1st stray cat that i took in has had 7 beautiful kittens. she started giving birth at 5 am this morning and just had her last kitten at 3 pm. 4 of the said 7 kittens needed veterinary help with being born but all 7 kittens are happy and healthy biggrin
it saddens me to say this but the runt of the litter Stripes didn't make it he sadly died at a week old from an unknown cause we think it was because he was the runt and usually runts don't make it in large litter of kittens sad

Oh no, I'm very sorry to hear about Stripes sad What a blessing to have that many kittens with you though. I wish I had advice about it, but I've no experience with pregnant kitties.
one had premature kittens that didn't make it cry one is due any day now and the other i believe is going in labor because shes pasting back and forth meowing or trying to carry one of the 1 month old kittens in her mouth

Oh goodness! I don't have any personal experience with hard births for first time mommas under my belt, but what are the updates so far? It's always sad when some don't make it, but those mommas and babies are super lucky to have someone that cares looking after them!
