	The next room wasn't quite as creepy as the last, maybe because it wasn't quite so full of stone slabs and the gnawing feeling of complete and utter emptiness. With a gruff sigh he walked on through, hoping to not run into anything this time. It was a little hard to learn about your surroundings when cats and hats (and no he didn't mean to rhyme in his thoughts) were trying to kill you and all. Right now everything was silent, which was a good sign. Even Zephira seemed oddly silent, which was a little off-putting but Rhys wasn't about to complain about that. She hardly ever shut up so this was a rare and to-be-noted moment. phantompanther13

The next thing he knew there was a pumpkin queen type character staring him down, daring him to do something to her in all her mighty glory or whatever bullshit she was spewing out in the distance. Off to the side he could see there was someone else there, too, minding his business. Rhys blinked curiously between the two but held out his sword anyway, just in case neither of them were friendlies. Well, the pump-queen was obviously not a friendly. The other one he wasn't so sure yet.

	the last time he was in here sucked. This time sucked too. What was with this cat thing. why did it keep bothering him? "um hi." it seemed that the other person here had also summoned a monster. great. 	Gabby, made entirely of ice and a little too excited about it, came charging in towards the pumpkin. His headbutt obliterated the pumpkin, leaving nothing behind in his wake. And just like that, Gabby was gone. HP: 45 Damage: just god Pumpkin HP: pie

	Before he could even make a dash toward the obnoxious pump-queen someone can come in and smushed it without any sort of trouble. Not that he was complaining, but when the drive-by-guy was gone Rhys turned to the other person in the room and blinked at the greeting. "'Sup," he said, then craned his neck slightly to see the cat that was approaching. Without warning he jumped forward and swiped his sword in a downward arch. It dodged just in time with a hiss, leaping onto his shoulder and slapping his face with its tail before it pounced behind him. "Damned cat," the brunette grumbled before turning around to search for the pesky feline again. "The thing been botherin' you too? Uh...name?" HP: 37/40 DMG: 0 CHG: 0/3 Mob: 15/15

	"Rhys," he said as he jumped at the creature again. He grazed its back this time, and he grinned at its rather peeved reaction at their persistence. Hey, the thing was persistent, too, alright? The other guy--Clyde, was it?--said as much. "Same here. I just sliced and diced one of these bastards earlier and now its back," he said as he aimed a kick right at it. It seemed a bit wrong to kick an animal, but hell. It was trying to constantly claw at his skin and his eyes and whatever else it could gets nails into. The kick (and the rest of their attacks) were justified, far as he was concerned. HP: 34/40 DMG: 2 CHG: 1/3 Mob: 8/15

	"Oh, c'mon!" he started, deciding that trying to cut the cat off of the fellow hunter's face was probably not a good idea. So he used his free hand and tried to punch it off. It whacked him in the face again with its tail but he eventually managed to knock it off the poor guy's face, and as soon as he did he aimed the back of his sword and swung at it like he was trying to hit a homerun. He didn't quite hit one, but the cat did go flying into a wall. "Hah!" he laughed rather triumphantly. "You okay?" HP: 31/40 DMG: 5 CHG: 2/3 Mob: 3/15 phantompanther13

	"Damn shield saves us all, don't it?" he said with a bit of a grin. The extra overkill shots were amusing to him, and he forced down a laugh as he gave Clyde a clap on the shoulder before he de-summoned his weapon. Rhys then knelt down to inspect the remains of the cat; when he found nothing he got back up and dusted off his hands with a sigh. "Nothin' there, I guess? You oughtta look, never know and all."
