Gabriel Night
Gabriel stood up in the observation window that looked down upon the laboratory below. He was lost in thought, contemplating the successes and losses of the experiments as the day was ready to begin. He was also considering what was missing... the answer to the next dimension, to the power, was so close, but at last, every time they thought they had the key to the doorway, it died and the portal closed - usually after stringing black ghostly tendrils out and taking some of his scientists. He'd learned though, to keep his best underlings during these times.
He had an inkling however, that the test subject 666 could be some sort of key..., but he wasn't ready to test her yet.
For now he watched as the first subject of the morning was wheeled in unconscious and transported to the middle of the room which was encased in a clear synthetic, and for now, unbreakable substance that formed a large box. This kept the experiments contained, and their powers confined within in order to test their limits, and abilities safely. With that the scientsts began, first by taking blood tests, and plucking a few hairs before leaving the containment area dn closing it off. They then twisted a knob that let a light blue gas into the chamber with Saichion, that was meant to awake her so that the test could truly begin.
((Hope all this made sense, and I gave you something to work with))

~*~Batty~*~
Batty clutched at her throat, as a feeling of dry ice slithered down her esophagus, causing her to weeze in breaths of air.
She needed to evaluate the haul, to make sure the others were not in trauma from the incident, but as soon as she heard Eva take charge, she relaxed a bit. Eva was only a child, but she was rather reliable, when needed to care for others. Batty smiled inwardly, like a proud mother, at how Eva had grown so fast. She was sure she would be a great defender, if anything should happen to herself, or Saichion.
Involuntarily, Batty hissed at the remembered absence of Saichion, and pounded a fist against the wall. Her rage was too dangerously high, to be considered safe around the others, if she was getting worked up over something she couldn't have prevented. Or not that she couldn't prevent it, but that she couldn't satisfied her bloodlust....The memory of the man slowly suffocating, enthralled her hunger even more so, and the icey feeling in her throat tightened like a vice.
She stumbled to the door then, and proceeded to holler through the bar peek window, in a pained screech. Unknowingly though to herself, with each holler, her voice slowly turned more and more into that of an inhuman growl and snarl.

~Saichion~ Saichion began to cough as the gas creeping in became too much for her lungs, giving away her awaken state. She pounded her fist against the container then, until they turned it off, hoping that they might show a bit of humanity in themselves to do so quickly. Until done, she forced her eyes to adjust as best they could, through the sting of the gas; to see what laid ahead of her.
To her own horror however, she wished she had not seen what they had in store for her. She wasn't ready for the test they were daring to conduct with her, at her weakened state. It would kill her if they dared to force her to do it. Images began dancing across her mind at the different deaths she might experience. Her head imploding, her eyes bursting, her entire body being fried to a crisp from the electricity that would bake her.
She began pounding feverishly terrified trying to escape the box. To rn. To hide. To live.

~*~Batty~*~ Glaring at the door, that was practically begging for her to go berserk, Batty stepped away to allow the food to be delivered "properly." She never completely understood why she had to move away, except that it only made her want to strike out even more. Especially now while she watched with a predators gaze, as the food filtered through the serving latch, that was attached to their door. She craved for a victim to claim as her meal, just to satisfy her heated hatred towards the organization keeping them all caged. Feeding them like animals, as though they had no manners on how to behave. It almost made Batty wish she could return back to the land of the dead, from where they had summoned her from, so long ago. Or at least from what she could only think of as a life time ago, considering the horrid state she was trapped in. Each passing day it felt as though the dead were demanding for her to return too, by having the shadows that laid sickly around her, whisper cruel intentions for what she could do to flee the human world. However, she paid no mind to the whispers, until they started to grow louder in her thoughts and dreams. Where they are so vivid in her sleep it is as though they had taken on their own bodies, and preformed the sacrificial act to return back, in real time. Which -of course- stirred Saichion into action, to try to ease Batty back down from doing a complete head count of the group, again. Breaking from her self indulgent thoughts, Batty caught scent of what could only signal to be her meal, for it was different from everyone else's. It was the only one that contained raw materials of food. Rushing through the paper bags, that had merged into a unison haze of brown, she found her's in the very back, crushed by the bottles that had been spilled in last. She hissed under her breath to the rude gesture, before trying as humanly as she could manage, to move the other bags towards the group. Signifying that she had taken her share of the meal, and that the others were to take theirs divided fairly. Any other time she would have handed them out one by one, but Batty dared not look up at anyone, and accidentally frighten them. She knew her eyes must have been pitch black, as though night had dived itself into her eyes on purpose. She could stand the stare from them from her hair bristling, her skin turning to a deathly whitish grey, her nails filing to points, noticeable little stubs forming a top her head, a thin tail lashing about the room, but her face she wanted them to still see the same. The same optimistically leader, they needed to be as their rock, when having to face their day's in fear. Moving herself into an isolated corner across the other side of the room, where the others were, Batty ate in concealment. As to not alarm the others at what her meal consisted of, or how she ate it with a voraciousness of a monster.

Gabriel Night
The electricity cut off abruptly, and the Professor and Gabriel passed a smile between them. The apple had burst. They watched her body crumple to the ground before Professor M barked out the orders to secure her on a small cot in the middle of the chamber. From there they inserted needles into her arms, and one directly into the back of her skull.
"Testing her Hallucination Abilities. Proceed with Event 1." Professor M announced. Gabriel watched closely as the subordinates situated another small child in a chair at the crown of Saichion's head. This child was hooked up to monitors, and through a needle at the base of his neck, he was also hooked to Saichion.
"Begin." A softer elctric shock coursed through Saichion, targeting the parts of her brain to painfully activate her abilities and use them on the child. The chamber they were in kept her abilities from leaking out to the other scientists. Gabriel observed his two screens, one of Saichion's brain activity, and the other of the second child. Usually the child died from Saichion's forced hallucinations, but they were all the closer to figuring out the exact combination of serum injections and electrical input that would spur the child's brain with Saichion's powers, and possibly give the answers to opening the other worldly dimension that Gabriel desired fiercely. The last time they had proceeded with this test, the child died yes, but not before his screams opened a small window, and what Gabriel had seen, encouraged him greatly. This time, the window could be opened for longer, or even possibly the door would be opened, but Gabriel was sure not to get his hopes too high. Surely it was never as easy as that.

Elijah Electricity is the Key
His conscious returned in the form a small throbbing headache that pulsed at his temples with an annoying tempo. Elijah groaned inwardly as he began to slowly move parts of his body, awakening the rest of his bodily functions. He heard the smallest of voices as if it were calling out from miles away, but as he opened his eyes and his senses returned he caught sight of Eva. He smiled at her softly, and then the smell of her peanut butter sandwich struck his nose. He hated that s**t.
Curling his nose, Elijah slowly sat up and gave Eva a look of derision, but she only smiled at him, happy that he seemed ok.
"What happened...?" He asked, but the answer was soon very clear. With Batty in the corner feeding, and the other children huddled in another corner, and Saichion gone it was really just another day yet again. With a shrug he grabbed his own unopened bag, as Eva scooted it towards him. He opened it to a tuna fish sandwich and a bruised peach, but automatically offered it in trade for Eva's apple.
"Batty?" He called over. "What did you get in your bag of goodies?" He asked, with his playful grin.
