Lyra Emmalyn Nearly half an hour later Lyra awoke, shivering as draft of air rushed through from the open window. The young girl sleepily sat up and blinked, looking at the window wearily. It took her a moment to consciously wonder why the window open, and when she finally did she sat there for a good few minutes more pondering who could have opened it. Did Cole open it? She looked back on her pillow, but the little pixie wasn't there. She then got up and went around to check the doggy bed, but he wasn't there either. Waking up a bit more she looked more around the room even murmuring his name, but she knew that he wasn't in the room. Her heart was racing face, and a small bit of looming sadness dropped in her stomach.
He left... he left her. She sat back on the bed, depression taking an onset as she glumly watched the window tears welling in her eyes. She dropped her eyes to her feet where she kicked her heels against the bed slowly. With a heavy sigh and Lyra uncharacteristically calm, stood up from her bed and went to close the window. What she didn't expect was to see two fat grubby hand prints staining the shimmering white paint that she had specially requested her room be painted in when she was seven. At first she was offended by the stains, but then she realized that they couldn't possibly be Cole's. Even when he was her size his hands were unusually slender for a boy, and these prints were fat, and for some reason greasy. It didn't take much longer for Lyra to connect her missing pixie to that of the prints. He was kidnapped! Suddenly whipping into action, Lyra leaned out of her window looking for signs only to see splintered grooves carved into the windowsill. This also pissed her off. She hated when people ruined her stuff, much less steal her things. She wasn't sure where to start looking though...
"NANNY JO!" She screamed fury replacing what sadness she knew minutes before.~_~ Mrs Everdeen caught the pixie in it's velvet pouch and bounced it up in the air a couple of times.
"Thought you got away hm?" She taunted him, sure that he could hear her. She was buzzing for a bit of pixie dust, but she also shared her husband's eagerness to get their business back on it's feet. "You put us in quite a spot being taken like that." She mused. Then she remembered something and looked over at her husband.
"Did you get the remote for him?" She asked. She'd completely forgotten about it, and didn't think about where that spoiled brat would have put the little device.

Cole was struggling like a mad man, knowing exactly where he was going to end up in a matter of minutes. He knew this woman had an unhealthy addiction to pixie dust, so she would be using him in some manner sooner then later he assumed. And then in about an hour he would be back in that dreaded harvester, the uncomfortably tight space with rough bristles that would be running against his body constantly until his wings were a dull grey. Then he would be taken back out and go through who knew what until his wings regained there color, and the cycle would continue. It was how it was for years, and he wasn't ready to go back. "LET ME GO YOU PIGS!" He yelled through the bag as he continued to struggle. The man, with a dull look of pride on his face, pulled the remote from his other coat pocket with another dumb laugh. "I picked it up when we first got through the window, wanted to surprise my wife." He said as he tossed the remote to her and then went back to driving, turning onto a back road.

Lyra Emmalyn Lyra paced the large living room in front of Nanny Jo, Miss Em, and the private detective they had hired to help find the pixie. She was restless, moody, and hated just sitting around answering questions, even though it was clear that they had to share what information they had between them before they could find any leads on who kidnapped Cole.
"Do you know anyone who might have been likely to take him? Any visitors?" Both of her nannies shook their heads, concern written all over their faces. But Lyra perked up.
"Yeah! Those creeps from my school. They were asking stupid questions about him and saying he was dangerous." She said. It was still nightfall, not much time had passed and Lyra was eager to hunt those creeps down. She just knew they had something to do with it.~_~ "Now, now." The woman said cavalierly. "That's my smart oogly moogly man." She rubbed up against him with her mushy love talk. "Oh the money we'll be making!" She enthused grasping the device. We always seem to get just that much more out of him if he grow him up a size after it seems he's out of dust.
Just the thought of milking the poor pixie of dust made her practically drool, but the evil, elegant woman never would humiliate herself with such an action. Instead she sat back gripping their prize in hand, and waiting to throw him in the container that would produce them all the dust they would need.

Cole's struggling soon faded away as he ran out of energy, curling up in a ball inside the velvet pouch as he felt the woman's fingers wrap around his small frame possessively. He let out a short whimper and tried to close his eyes. The man laughed once more and set the remote aside, happy after his praise was recieved. He looked over to his wife, seeing the small harvester next to her as she held the pixie. "We can start the gathering now if you want honey? We don't have to sell the first batch afterall." He said with the upmost confidence that there would be many, MANY more batches to follow.

Lyra Emmalyn Eventually Nanny Jo sent Lyra off to bed, but laying there in the dark, the young girl couldn't get to sleep. She was staring at the now closed window, and she couldn't help but think that no one was actually going to help get her pixie back. It's happened before with a puppy that ran away, a bird that got out of it's cage... after a few days of 'looking', they eventually just offered the suggestion of replacing the lost pets. Before Lyra would've thrown a tantrum, but soon after forget she even wanted it back in the first place, but this was different. She wasn't sure why, but she decided that she wasn't going to have a fit and leave it up to the adults. They were pretty useless anyway... With that in mind she drifted off to sleep, knowing first thing in the morning she was going to skip school to look for her pixie. ~_~ The woman shook her head primly, and waved off her husband's suggestion. "We'll wait til we get back home, now pick of the speed." She told him, tucking the pixie in the velvet bag down into the bottom of her purse. She rolled down the window then and breathed in the fresh air, looking forward to getting some sleep now that their financial security was back in her life.

Cole winced as he was forced down into the bottom of what seemed to be a larger bag, left in the blackness to wait for his fate to be sealed. He gulped, keeping himself curled up and waiting for the car to stop. Which was exactly what happened five seconds later. Before they even knew it the Man slammed on the brakes and swerved into a long hidden dirt road, laughing a little as he saw his wife jump in terror. "Gets you every time." He said as he pulled up to the decent looking home in the center of the wooded mountains. He got out of the car and stretched, walking up to the building and unlocking the door, letting himself in as he walked straight to his chair and took a seat, letting his wife take care of the creature.
