I don't know who's left active in this guild, but I just had to share my deep sadness over the loss of Leonard Nimoy. He was a spectacular man (who apparently had life as a photographer as well), and I can only thank him for creating such a character that has lasted throughout this half century. I hope we are able to keep his memory alive. Rest in peace!cryingheart

He was a successful actor who made a memorable character live for millions of fans all around the world (literally.) It was later in life that he came to accept how much Spock meant to them. (He wrote the book "I Am Not Spock", then later wrote "I Am Spock.")
He played other roles as well, but none so iconic. He also sang. Anyone else remember the Ballad of Bilbo Baggins?
As another fan pointed out, please all take a lesson- that smoking will make it harder to live long and prosper.
I was heartbroken when I heard the news. I didn't start watching TOS until my teens, but even as a kid I knew who Spock was, and once I started watching TOS he became my favourite character. Leonard Nimoy was a true treasure and he will never be forgotten.
May you rest in peace sir.

R.I.P a true legend heart I still would like to believe that he didn't really pass like in The Search For Spock. He's totally regrowing on planet Genesis.
