![User Image](https://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a358/KamiDemon/balam/ZvonimirCubUncertsmall.png) As the sun sank down beneath the horizon and the stars began to glitter, the heat of daytime was ebbing, and a gentle breeze wafted through the air. With the light dwindling, the nocturnal beasts of the Realm were finally allowed to wake up and flourish under the watchful gaze of the moon, and that time couldn't have come soon enough for a certain young Dark cub. Zvoni had watched the light grow dimmer and dimmer over the previous hour, waiting impatiently for when it would be okay to go outside. It was rather annoying to have to wait, if only because going blind made playtime difficult.
When it was finally dark enough, and their parents opened the doors of their home, Zvonimir shot outside with an excited laugh. One of the best things about living in the clan was that more often than not, they were left to play on their own, while their parents went off to work. Within the safety of the clan walls, there were no predators or bad b'alam to worry about, and as long as they didn't get in the way or cause a ruckus, they were free to frolic at their leisure.
"What should we do tonight, Zyale?" He called back, skidding to a hault to look back at his pale older sibling. "I'll race you to the creek!" Zvoni's tail lashed around, an indicator of his energized state. He didn't want to waste a moment of their night, which felt ripe with opportunities for fun. He didn't even let Zyale reply, and darted off to give himself a head start, laughing all the while.

Zyale sighed as Zvoni watched the sun setting, internally debating whether he should just go to bed. Ever since he first was able to walk it was clear the boy wasn't like most of his kind. He loved the daytime. Yes, it blinded him, and yes, it did leave him in an awful amount of pain. But it was beautiful. Sadly, his brother did not share the same sentiment, which was only normal. Still, he eyed his brother with a brief frown when Zvoni darted out into the open, quietly pawing after him.
What was so good about night, anyway? Everything was dark and felt cold to look at. It couldn't compare with the life the morning brought! His tail flicked lazily, wings snapping open into a stretch as his brother skidded to an abrupt halt. Peering back at Zvoni, Zyale tilted his head back and forth in thought.
"I don't know. What do you-- hey!" And then Zvoni was off. Puffing his cheeks out in mild frustration, he couldn't resist the urge to beat his brother in the race, springing ahead. What a cheater!

Zvonimir giggled as his older sibling rushed past him, amazed at his speed despite the fact that he'd cheated a little bit. Instead of skidding to a halt when he caught up with Zyale, however, he chose to barrel into the shallows of the creek instead, laughing and howling at how cold the water felt on his paws and stomach.
"Geez, you're so fast! I'll beat you next time!" He stuck his tongue out, and panted softly as he caught his breath, still ecstatic to be outside. It was an absolutely lovely night, with a few fluffy clouds drifting overhead, gently illuminated by the light of the moon. He fanned the water with his wings, watching the ripples and returning to the question he had interrupted by rushing off.
"I dunno! We cooouuuld...practice flying! Or play hide and seek?" Zvoni huffed softly as he thought hard for a moment. There was an endless amount of games they could play. "We could go climb the trees. Haven't done that in a while." He shrugged and grinned, flashing his tiny fangs. He seemed oblivious to his brother's chagrin, and was simply happy to be out and about with him.
Yushika so sorry for the delay :'3 will not let this happen again!
