Robin: -bounces around him and headbonks- Bri! Bribribribribribribribribri! Guess wat! -excite faise like he doesn't even know-

Brishan: *watches her bounce around, trying to be patient* What, Robin?

Robin: You! -puts a paw on his chest then leans closer like shes about to drop a huge secret bomb- Are going to be a daddy. Teeeeee. -big grin, wings twittering-

Brishan: *blinks* ..... *blinks again* ......Excuse me? I'm what?

Robin: -giggles and leans closer, head all nuzzled into his chest- You heard me silly face. -bats at him- A daddy!

Brishan: *looks grumpy but rly he's just trying to process* ....a father.... *his lips twitch into a tiny smile* .....that means you're going to be a mother.

Robin: -grins big then freezes, mouth open in eternal gasping- OHMYGOSH YOU ARE RIGHT!!!! -spazzes more beyond infinity-

Brishan: *eyes her when she freezes like he might have broken her, but then she spazzes more and he relaxes, actually kind of smiling for once as he watches her spaz*

Robin: -now flitting around his head and lands on his back- DO YOU KNOW WHAT THIS MEANS!?!!?!!

Brishan snorted softly as he watched her buzz around. Spending time with Robin was certainly a test of his patience. So far his patience had held out. Perhaps it had to do with the way he felt about the strange and...enthusiastic B'alam.

Her weight on his back was almost comforting as he twisted his head around to see her. "What does it mean, Robin?" he asked. He was truly curious as to her thoughts on this matter. If he were honest with himself, he'd never really thought about being a father before. Robin always had a different way of looking at things, ways he'd never even imagine.

Robin smiled as she draped across his back, her front legs and wings attempting to wrap around him like a big hug as she hung on. When he twisted his head around to see her, she leaned over and pressed her nose against his. "We are going to be a family silly! Our prayers were answered." she cooed, tail twining around his as she batted at his ears playfully. He always acted so grumpy grumpy but she could sense his true feelings deep down inside him, even if he wasn't so good at showing it sometimes.

He shifted his wings to accommodate her position on his back, which in turn meant that his wings were wrapped around her similar to how hers were around him. "A family..." he murmured. "I suppose you're right." His ears twitched as she batted them. He was used to her form of affection by now; it was almost second nature to him. Though he tried to be a bit more restrained in public, when they were alone he felt more like he could relax. Robin was the only one who knew that there was something softer beneath his grumpy exterior. "Are you excited?"

.....okay, that was a rhetorical question.

The rather happy go lucky B'alam only giggled more each time her mate asked a question. He was just so silly sometimes that she couldn't stand it and all she could do was giggle for a few minutes. "Well of course! It's what we wanted.......right?" she peered at him, a rare moment of seriousness as she gazed at him, her paws ceasing to bat at his ears. Brishan having second thoughts was non existent in her mind. Robin knew that would never happen, or at least she held herself in denial. Still..... for that one split second, something inside her wondered.

But just like that it was gone. "What you think they will look like?!" she grinned, paws resuming their gentle barrage on his ears and neck fluff.

It always startled him when she had her rare moments of seriousness. But then, as it always did, it passed and he gave her a rare smile. "Of course it's what we wanted, Robin," he murmured. That was why they carved them to begin with. He just didn't think it would have happened so soon. "I hope they look like you," he told her. They might make more friends if they looked more like their mother...
