Thats an impressive peice of artwork. Its Kurt and Logan right? From the X-men? I'm a fan of both DC and Marvel comics so I know my heros.

Warning: cartoon-related ranting ahead, strongly colored by personal obsession.

Though they don't seem to know that. In the 90's animated series, the nightcrawler-episode is something... so absurd, I couldn't even laugh, I just stared in complete silence.
The x-men went skiing and suddenly ended up in a monastery, in a village that lived in it's own personal 15th century?!
A mob that comes after demons with torches and scythes... whoa... and here I though there were giant sentinel robots and genetic engineering only half a globe away. Naturally, they concentrated on the two exotic details of the character. that he was a)religious and b)german.

Now, I know cartoons are for kids, but is it still really necessary keep underlining the most obvious? when talking about characters who've been making slow progress over several decades?
On the other hand, concidering how Nightcrawler was drawn in those two episodes he was in... I'm perfectly happy they didn't have more.
ahh whatever, the whole series looks like crap these days mrgreen

(In X-Men: Evolution they completely forgot the fact that Kurt was supposed to be religious. Now, what's up with that? I realize they desperately needed a goofy sidekick with a ridiculous voice, but...
Well, those of us who've been dealt the Jar Jar card never get a real personality. Or, maybe they just hid it well and forgot to use it XD)

Anyway. This is just ranting about toons, so it's hardly useful to anyone. Except future writers maybe? :--D If characters have something unique to them, let them keep it to themselves until the time is right for some of it to surface. Like with poor Beast... the fact that you know Shakespeare by heart kinda loses it's flavor if you just can't shut up about it XD But a well-placed poem, when it's least expected... ahh.

I thought I had lost my appetite for all angst. ALSO, I had managed to avoid the Harry Potter-phenomenon for 6 years - or how long have those books been around? Anyway, after a friend positively forced me to watch the Goblet of Fire, I finally gave up - thanks a bunch Ralph heart - and surrendered to the tidal wave... now I've read all 6 books, in less than two weeks, and am able to present to you my version of Malfoy crying in the bathroom. >____< No pervy ghost fangirl added.

He's my absolute favourite.

Now; I know there's only one angsty teenager in this picture, and the scene is right from the 6th book. I trust it's not really a spoiler. sweatdrop
But even better if you haven't read the HBP yet; being that you're all members of this guild, you should be perfectly able to come up with some smut to explain this picture. rofl


PS: please do try to ignore the ugly mouth. I've already gotten about all criticism I can handle about it - given the relatively small amount of time wasted in making this picture, I don't really care rofl
