Name: Madeline Nicknames: Maddie, Mad, MADNESS, as long as she knows you're addressing her you're fine Gender: Female Age: 14 Height: 4'7"
Faction: Monster Race:Possessed Doll (much thanks to astra for this!)
Backstory:
Madeline used to be nothing more than a normal teddy bear, though "normal" seemed to be a word she wasn't described as. Considered to be a factory defect due to her split colours, the bear was given to one of the workers, who in turn gave it to his niece.
The niece hated the bear, considering it abnormal, and often abused it. But instead of throwing it out, she decided to do something much more... unusual. She and several of her friends had heard of a dare going around the school, and decided to try the same thing, naming it after the niece's sworn enemy, cutting the poor bear open, removing all her stuffing and even tied her up and stabbed her.
When it was her turn to be "it", the girls ran and hid, both exhilarated and fearful. The small sparks of fear gave the bear life, giving her the ability to move.
With each passing moment, the girls began to grow restless, nerves set on edge at each little sound they heard. As sunrise came and they finally decided to end the game, they realized that the bear was nowhere to be found. "Madeline" had left.
Natural Ability: Shapeshift - She can turn into a walking, talking teddy bear!
Personality: Madeline is a little... strange, for lack of a better word. She likes to observe others, to a degree that borders on creepy, and can tend to follow students out of habit to see what they're up to. She's also very upfront about things, and can be quite blunt, though she doesn't notice that what she says can tend to rub others the wrong way.
She's also quite childish in a sense, hating when others ignore her or leave her out of things. And secrets? There is no such thing as "secrets" in Maddie's vocabulary. At least, not for other people, which is where the stalker-like personality comes in. Though, when they're secrets pertaining to her, she'll get really broody and weary if others start to pry, even lashing out angrily if they continue to pursue the matter.
While she has quite a temper, getting angry at the tiniest things, it is also quite easy to appease her. For one, she likes attention, and if you give her the time of day, she'll be your best friend. She also likes presents (her favourite things to eat are fish and rabbit), so gifts always win brownie points with her. In addition, she also likes being picked up and carried around, riding on the shoulders of taller students. In short, she likes being cherished and treated as someone important, as she had never experienced such a thing.
Why are they enrolled in Amityville Academy? It's a school and school has creeple to uh... "watch" and stuff, yes. ಠ ◡ ಠ
