Conrad The Mighty

He'd awoken here. In this bizarre place full of hot ground under foot and bubbling pools of water. The burning in his feet made him uncomfortable and the male quickly moved out of the worst of it. Once clear of the warmth and steam a chill wind rippled his light coat.

Aruna glanced back toward the steam. He'd stay close it then, but away from the hottest areas. The bright male wove his way through the steam until he found a pool of warm, gently steaming water. With a contented sigh he slid into it. Oh the temperature was just right.

Styx loved the realm she had been awoken in, so much that she wanted to see all of the ends of it, not just the endless plains that she had been awoken in. All of the sights, she wanted them. This included climates she wasn't quite built for, such as the volcano areas where she heard the Fire Tribe reined. She was excited but she also had her guard up, as her safety was not guaranteed. Obviously fire was hot, so she hoped the Fire Tribe was not hot headed in their nature. She noticed a pair of black horns before the red of a pelt of a male in a pool of very hot looking water. Nervously, she gulped and watched him from a safe distance before she deemed him docile enough to approach.

"I hope I'm not bothering you, sir." She said as soon as she got close enough for him to hear her.

He was just relaxing, with his eyes closed when a voice made him start. Aruna narrowed his eyes at the intruder. "And what if you are?" His voice chilly. He noticed her disgusting pale pelt. It brought to mind something very cold, but he couldn't place his paw on what. No horns either. Aruna noticed with a critical eye. He wished she'd turn around and go away.

Well that wasn't very nice. She thought to herself critically, gone was her pleasant smile and matching demeanor.
"Well then you will just have to suffer through my presence." With the last word she shifted her head in a matter of fact, tough s**t, fashion as she walked closer to him to get a better view through the steam.

His colors mirrored that of the magma flowing in the distance from the mouth of the volcano, save his black markings now beneath the water. To her, this male was very attractive but she did not dare slip into the water quite yet. He would have to earn getting her wet.

"What do you call yourself, fire walker." As not to give away her fuzzy intentions, she spoke as if it were a statement and not a question that she could really do without an answer to.

Suffer her presence was exactly right. Aruna didn't disguise the disdain across his face as she didn't take his unsubtle hint. He wasn't sure exactly why he was reacting like this. It wasn't as if she'd done anything to harm him. The male examined his feelings trying to pinpoint the exact problem.

He glanced at her again as she spoke. That was it. Her appearance. Pale colors more like left over soot than good strong fires, and her lack of horns. Why he felt this way he couldn't be sure only that he did and felt strongly about it.

"That's none of your concern." He gave another sneer. "Go run along now back to where you belong."
