Lina7Inverse I also think that this V-day event was nice. Sure, it didn't have wing stickers, but is that what our events are all about? And instead of interacting with npcs in shops and sending cards we got an ability to talk to our favourite npcs. And those weren't just some pre-generated texts too!
I agree with this. I usually HATE Gaia's Valentine's events (ugh, those stupid cards); this year I thought it was pretty good. I didn't participate with the NPCs, but I was really happy to know they were ACTUALLY interacting, instead of using pre-generated text. Those used to annoy me.
They could have done better with the items and Switchem; recolors are lazy, BUT I understand that by the time the finally got to the Valentine's event, they didn't have time for anything better, really. Honestly though, the items were nice, and they were things I didn't have. I'm not adamantly against recolors, I just think they could have introduced something new this year. |

kujjles FaithBlack I was so upset, that I changed my avi. As it says in my sig, my avi represents my mourning for the death of Gaia (because yes, it's dying) & the giant s**t that Gaia has taken on it's users - Especially having to do with the anniversary. I love this idea, I think we should consider doing something like this as a group!
As a group, the "Save our Shops" signs are official symbol of our cause.
When this "chocolate ice cream on my head" item came out (when I was in high school, which means 2009 at the latest), my friends & I made jokes about how it looked like a giant s**t for months. It's a fairly cheap item you can find in the gold shop.
I thought it would be perfect to represent how I feel Gaia has treated it's users.
I also thought about the Grunny pose, where it's peeing on the user, but Grunnys are expensive & were originally a cash shop item. Granted, I have one, because I was giving Gaia money when they were first released, but I'm trying hard not to wear my cash shop items right now, as I see it as a means of adverting the cash shop to other users. I much prefer it when I can say "It's from the gold shop". |
