Recently, every time I see an announcement pop up my instincts are telling me to either down vote, reply or report. I can't do either of these, it's maddening
I suggest a "Flip Off Post" option, next to the "Tip Post' option emotion_donotwant
Then when you get a notice it will say "usernamexx" has flipped you off for your post" rofl
I'm joking of course. I was just thinking how silly it would be

I must be honest and admit that I've quite literally flipped my screen off more times than I would ever care to own.

BinaryVolts Sadly the trolls would have a field day with that feature... sweatdrop Yeah, not to mention it's really rude and disrespectful, even in real life. You'd be no better than the trolls, more like just as bad basically. I hate to say it, but I completely disagree with this topic.

What a surprise, someone is offended by the idea.
I think it's an awesome idea and I see nothing offensive about it. Of course I'm me, not other people and everyone has their own way of seeing things.

What if you got 25 gold for it anyway, just like the tip post option. razz
That way you would really have to balance whether it was worth it to tip or flip.
Really though I just want to do this for those horrible announcements. I'd be fine if they would just provide up or down votes instead sad

Given that they already disabled the Like/Dislike option for all of the announcements now, I highly doubt they'd do this, but I kind of like this idea. cat_razz But what if instead of giving the offending poster 25 gold (which is kind of counterproductive to what you want), they charge the "flipper" (the one who's annoyed at the post) 1,000g - 5,000g? The gold would be taken from circulation, and given how annoyed a lot of people are lately, this would probably work as a pretty effective gold sink. Most people won't casually flip you off unless they're rich enough to lose money, or are so annoyed, the amount you're willing to spend indicates how serious you are. cat_ninja

The only reason I didn't suggest it is because I don't want to give Jet & Cygnus that much of my gold emotion_donotwant

Strangely enough, I think their profile was public until recently, and when I checked the comments, more than 90% of them were along the lines of "We love you Jet & Cygnus!" and "Keep up the good work!" cat_stressed Do only NPC-lovers bother to check the profile? cat_ninja
