As usual, Jason was doing his thing which involved running away from some terror in the haunted house. Weather that terror be a actual threat or a scary shadow on the wall was unknown at the moment. All Jason knew was that he wanted to get away as fast as possible.

Sure, he was supposed to be patrolling the area for possible threats, but he liked living, okay?

Rounding a corner, Jason huffed and puffed as the errie gloom of the room surrounded him. He was trying to calm his frayed nerves, wiping sweat off his brow as he listened for sounds of pursuit.

Instead all he heard-

BOOM!

The moon jumped about ten feet at the sound crack of thunder. He didn't know it could rain here. It didn't stop him from shouting in fear and bolting to the next room-

or, right into Shun instead.

The sudden contact had him screaming, before he took a glance at the man and noticed the lack of horns or tails or anything deeming him to be halloween. He had forgotten the existence of human looking halloween, and decided to sacrifice his pride by collapsing onto him, complete with over the top sobbing.

"Oh my god I am so glad to see someone else here help I think theres monsters here I don't know I just need backup halp

He was giving Shun the puppy-dog eye treatment too.

Shun let out a sign of irritation as he found himself in the haunted house of all places. This was not somewhere where he really wanted to be. But nevertheless, it just meant he was going to have to find his way out. Or deal with a hunter first. Most likely the latter would happen.

He heard the crack of thunder, followed by a scream. Shortly after this, someone had run smack dab into him. Before he could even begin to summon his blades, the white coated man had all but thrown himself all over him sobbing like a baby.

"You have got to be an idiot if you think I'm a hunter," he hissed while summoning his blades right then and there. Yes, he looked human. But he had never heard of any normal humans showing up in this wretched place. And he certainly wasn't wearing anything like the hunter attire.

With the sounds of laughter in his mind, Jason realizing his mistake when he found twin daggers pointed his way. Yelping at the sudden sight, he back peddled and tripped over a lose floorboard in a panic. Though on the floor, he had thankfully summoned his weapon to keep himself defended, but still looked like a mess.

"I'm not a idiot!" He shouted a retort as he scrambled to his feet. While Shun didn't look like some bizare monster, he did look like someone from the Japanese mafia, which was enough to keep the moon hunter on edge.

Because you didn't ******** with the yakuza, you just didn't.

Shun let out a light scoff in that. He didn't say it outright, but it wasn't hard to tell that yes, he thought Jason was an idiot.

"Did you seriously think I could give you backup?" he asked lowly before rushing forth and lashing out with his blades.

Damn he was fast. It was hard to keep up with the reapers speed, but then Jason wasn't too slow himself. As he felt the daggers bite into his shield he pushed forward, then stepped back so he could counter attack with a deep thrust.

"No I didn't!"

He actually did, but wasn't going to admit it.

Shun's good eye narrowed at that response though shut it tight for a moment as the sword stabbed into him. He let out a light hiss and hopped back for the moment. He then looked over the hunter. He didn't believe the response. Quite frankly, he was a little surprised how he could still be alive among the hunters with that level of intelligence.

Maybe he could cull him out of the ranks. It might actually be a favor.

Without a word, he rushed back in, feigning another strike with his blades. Instead, he ended up sweeping, trying to take his legs out from under him.

He saw the reaper try the move again, but did not realize it was a feint before it was to late. He had went to block but found her legs had been pushed out from underneath. He fell forwards with a startled cry.

But even if he didn't act like it, Jason was still a hunter. He was linked with his weapon, and that in turn made his reflexes sharper, quicker then any regular humans. As his body hit the floor he reached out with one hand, grabbing Shun around one foot and yanking hard. He then let go, and with the other hand holding the blade he slashed at whatever he could aim for.

Shun fumbled as his foot was grabbed, and he soon felt a flash of pain followed by a feeling of warmth as Jason sliced into him. He quickly scrambled back to his feet as soon as he could, but his movements had become a little sluggish. Once up again, he remained crouched for a time, letting out a slow breath to try and collect himself and focus. He was bleeding pretty badly right now. He didn't see the actual wound, but he could feel it well enough.

He needed some time to recuperate, and such, he hurled one of his blades at Jason in the meantime.

Judging from the trial of blood, he must have cut him quite deep. Jason got to his feet and saw the reaper was trying to take a break. He wasn't going to let Shun have a chance to recover, and was rushing forwards with his sword held out. The blades were deflected easily, and without pausing he ran right past Shun, slashing straight past his side and coming to the stop on the other side.

Just like in a anime.

He then turned around and pointed at Shun.

"Ha! See!"

Shun gritted his teeth as he was forced down to his knees after taking that last strike. The urge to clutch at his wounds was strong, but he refused to do such a thing while he was in front of the hunter. Steadily, he glared at the man for several moments. Not only had he lost, the human was rubbing it in, and that frustrated him further.

He still said nothing. Nothing deserved to be said. Weakly, he just pushed himself back to his feet, then slipped away to retreat for now. The next time he saw this one, things would go differently. He was certain. The reaper just needed to continue to hone his blades until then.

Jason seemed to recoil at the angry glare sent to him from Shun (it reminded him of a certain Death lead. But he made no move to stop the reaper from retreating. He had bested him in battle, he saw no reason to finish him off. Besides, he just come back angrier.

And probably stab him in his sleep.

...He used his pendant to warp out. Just encase.
