I have found it. The one song that describes every character ever existed. Way back at the very, very, VERY beginning of their existence of course. Like it doesn't matter if you're making a cute vampire or a homicidal human or a really sick half-elf or anyone at all. This song defines them all at the very start of their life.

I could say the same for Poet by Bastille but with Unwritten as pre and Poet being post. They both technically work but it involves turning the metaphor into something literal which loses the charm and I sound like a critic.
