A Lovely Sight I agree. though it's the GC users who got us here in the first place......we shouldn't bully them at all! it's their money! We should be peaceful and patient, o on that, i completely agree with you! I feel ashamed that some people could become so fanatical about a cause that is supposed to help the gaians, not hinder. They put our name in the mud, pulling crap like that.
As a reg gCash user when I can, I'm not really encouraged by statements like this.

Welp, I'm not a regular user. I draw for EVERYTHING I own. :3
only reason I'm even a member of club verge is because i let my niece use my account to buy herself stuff for her new account as a birthday gift. she went and spent 100 bucks on gaia to start up her account. o - o
I don't even think of her as a niece, since she's 16. O.O
(having a niece from an older cousin is a little weird, I gotta say)
she was supposed to spend a max of 50 bucks, but she paid me back the extra, so no complaints there. x3
so in MY case, it's not hypocritical.
and welp, those users who have always thrown money at the site....well, that's just encouragement to the site top dogs to raise the prices

Besides, if you're owning cash items, then you're still indirectly supporting the gCash users. Someone had to buy gCash to poof them into existence, so regardless how you earned them, it still seems awfully hypocritical to me about you pointing out that gCash users made the site what it is today.
Just sayin, I'm not really seeing how you can say you're not being hypocritical.

If you want to cover your eyes and say "the users spending cash is NOT the issue, then do so. I however, take a different stance. You attempting to defend overspending on this site is what I consider to be hypocritical.

Xiva, every time I read something you wrote, I am in awe. You're like the guild leader I strive to be. emotion_brofist Everyone is human, guys. Sometimes we just let our emotions get the better of us, or we are...not so great in terms of personality, and enjoy putting people down. Fact of the matter is we don't promote this behavior. We each have our own opinions, but so long as we're respectful about it, then so be it. Hopefully people aren't being bullied. I know one of the girls in my guild spends cash like no other, but I haven't said a single thing to her. Not my business.

Hence, user spending is not an issue for you either because of the cash shop items you adorn on your avatar.
@bolded: i'd like to know where you got this assumption, because I've yet to make that statement.

xena91388 That just makes me shake my head. History has shown soft voices and peaceful protests of many people en masse accomplish far more than aggressive extremists. You get more people on your side by befriending the neutrals, not scaring them off. Michelle Chiba Agreed here. that's not the right Idea of getting our message across. instead, we need to find other ways to encourage other not buy GC by showing examples from another Website that tales bad things. and.. meet on another website that we can discuss our plan on. Oh snap, you done gone and brought Neopets into this! Neopets is actually the best demo of the direction Gaia is headed. I had joined back when I was 12 and it was fun at first but then they started censoring everything that made it enjoyable. One of the things I loved to do in the forums was little contests and quizzes with prizes. Everyone would have an equal and fair chance to win something, all promised items were given, and no one had to do anything but answer a couple random trivia questions or just be the first to post something. All of it was PG and everything. Then I got warnings for "scamming" because threads like that were against the ToS and was even temp-banned for a day. I floated in the internet ether after that until Gaia came along. Did you ever hear the controversy over Neopet's Lutari Islands? It's an exclusive area only paid subscribers can access. Sounds a lot like Club Verge..... You Got a Menewsha account? I add you there.

Madame Xiva I understand and appreciate where you're coming from with this, I really do, and I feel sorry for anyone in that situation as well. More than anything, I was watching out for you and your well-intentioned post so that others might not take offense in feeling as though "we" inferred this guild and its members. Rest assured, I and my Revolution staff keep a close eye on things in the best interest of everyone involved with our collective movement. I find myself amazed most times with the integrity and respect of the 1000+ members we have with us now. We're all in the same boat here, and I can only attempt to assure that you have no need to be anxious at all about anything like you've mentioned ever being a part of what this guild stands for. I give you my personal promise of this. Thankyou Xvia heart I do know that you and your revolution staff do the best job with this Guild and so far it's the best one I have joined smile I won't let it get to me anymore, I realize now that the young lady I was on about actually annoyed alot of people by playing a really good game of smashblox, I guess people can get jealous over silly things at times! ^^

Great Lakes haze I read that post. I think that what was actually happening was that some people became incensed because she is a very good player and they were trying to bully her out of the game in order to get rid of the competition. What she was mainly complaining about was that they told her not to play. I doubt that buying Gcash was the issue, since the bullying players are probably buying it themselves. They can't win at Smashbox without cash, and most people don't have the time or patience to collect it from the video offers. If they are avid players, they are paying out a lot of cash. So I think that if they told her not to buy cash, they were jumping on an excuse, to distract her from the real issue, which is that she has a right to play Smashbox, even if others are angry because she wins so often. I do not believe that anybody from this guild behaves in this manner. I certainly wouldn't. So that's what happened, Like I said to Xvia sometimes people get jealous over silly things like that and I'm happy to have read your post and know a little bit more on what was happening! ^^ I'm sorry if I offended you a little, I didn't mean to do that......This Guild is the best one I actually joined so far and I thoroughly enjoy being here, I guess in the back of my mind I'm a little worried that someone would do that and dive the guild a bad name..... sad
