I actually really like the look of some of these, but I still have to get into the store to take a look at the codex before deciding who to take on...

though I have no intention of spending 70 quid on a specialist cover o.O

I still recall the previous book being 1€ more expensive
then the physical copy was. ninja

I´m gonna get the new codex once it arrives,
mostly because I want that AA-tank and because I´m curious.
....and old habits die hard... sweatdrop

I just don't think big fat slow minis fit much with the Blood Angels. That is like running Dreadnoughts with the White Scars.

You're right except we do have furiso dreadnoughts. That's not exactly blood angelesc, along with the creation of Baal Predators. Still, it'll be interesting to see what GW has concocted when the Blood Angels get an update. My only friend I have to play against is tyranids so you can imagine how excited I am to see if theres anything extra to combat him. ><

Orks maybe but NO PLEASE NO TYRANIDS! And theres already been enough chaos demons, tau, and elder anyways! only two human factions and Im not sure chaos space marines are human anymore.

Right now the Orks and Tyranids are stuck with the older and more broken codex books, they need that update.

You seem to forget that while the Imperium may look like the smaller faction, it is instead made up of seven factions (Blood Angels, Dark Angels, Grey Knights, Imperial Guard, Sisters of Battle, Space Marines and Space Wolves), or armies that have their own set of rules and miniature lines.

Well I got my pre-order, they ran out of the fancy one I wanted so I just get the generic cover.

I'm personally going to sit the release of this one out, at least until I have read the codex and find out what exactly is the Bees Knees with this edition.

Though I am tempted into picking up a few choice items for a small vanilla Astartes force. ninja

I can happily confirm that the new codex is amazing and very much an improved copy of the previous version.
