~Stranger to Strangeness~

On one side: a person that can hear the paranormal world's sound.
On the other side: an aspiring musician with a problem: she's a ghost, and stuck inside a piano to boot.

One's a person living a satisfactory but boring life.
The other's a lonesome ghost that no one has heard of before.

Neither have encountered the other side this close before.
But there is a first for everything, and that first time is now.

~Rules~
1. Play as many characters as can be maintained, but only one can be in a designated role ( gifted human / ghost).
2. Any writing style can be used. Go crazy.
3. ...but stay within Gaia's rules. Nothing above PG-13.
4. No god-modding. Ever. That includes manipulating characters that are not yours in a major way (e.g. killing one off without permission).

Req4boxes' Character
Name: Mikuo Hatsune
Age: 14 years
Role: Gifted Human

   It was quite a boring summer for him. For one, all his friends were off on vacation, and his parents wouldn't allow him to go with them. For two, there was literally nothing except the computer to keep him interested, and no longer was he interested in it.

   And for three, he hasn't heard any peculiar sound lately. He has been hearing peculiar things all the time, and since nobody believed him when he tried to tell people, he indulged himself in trying to find out the source of those sounds.

   So far, he has been unsuccessful, but that never let him down one bit. But now that the sounds had stopped, he felt a bit... lonely. That was literally the last thing that he had in mind, and now without that, he was utterly numbed.

   One morning, though, something caught his interest. A grand piano, furnished black and somewhat new-looking, was brought in by his parents. This delighted him greatly.

   "Oh, sweet! Always wanted a replacement for this keyboard..." he thought, "...not that I don't like that, though." He walked his merry way towards the piano, thinking of which song to test it with.
