She had promised herself that she would stop. Twice now, she had woken up in so much pain she swore off the very thing that caused it. Yet now - as it had been the first two times - she was in front of the Haunted House again, free of her patchwork corpse which remained safely hidden in the Forbidden Forest, near the clearing Aymet had inadvertently created when she had called for his help the first time. Something in her couldn't let this place go, and that same something yearned for bloodshed. She still needed to vent, and to pay them back in kind for everything that had done to her and her fellow students over the last couple years. It didn't matter that there had been little to no activity in the past few months, and it didn't matter that more often than not she ended up in the hospital or bed ridden. All that mattered was the little voice inside her, screaming for Revenge.
So far, there had been no signs of life outside of the scurrying shadows. No traces of a Hunter on patrol, no hints of a lost or simply curious student. For a while it seemed that it was just her, ghosting about the House with an inner voice that just grew more and more agitated with the continued lack of enemy. Several rooms were entered and left, from libraries to labs, empty to packed with hoarded items. The next corner the creature rounded seemed to open up into the largest room yet; once-white walls peeling with age and disuse, picture frames too broken or dirty to reveal their photos, a floor that had once been shining but was now littered with debris, and a long rail against a mirrored wall. The lights flickered, occasionally lapsing into darkness for a second or two before coming back with a vengeance.
What had once been a beautiful Dance Studio, now in ruins.
The creature let out a low rumble from deep within it's chest, a disconnected hand floating forward to swipe a single claw through the dust on the railing. The thing's unmoving face seemed to be staring down at the dust it rubbed through it's index finger and thumb, regarding it with a dim curiousity. It wiped it's claws on the dirty mirror shortly after, cleaning a section away just in time to spot a brief reflection of something red. It was enough to make the creature pivot on disconnected feet, head turning as it looked about for the owner of the reflection. It wasn't sure if it came from this room, or was a relayed reflection from another; the important thing was, it hadn't been there before, which was enough to concern.
"Who's there?!" It demanded loudly, crouching at the ready.
