She had promised herself that she would stop. Twice now, she had woken up in so much pain she swore off the very thing that caused it. Yet now - as it had been the first two times - she was in front of the Haunted House again, free of her patchwork corpse which remained safely hidden in the Forbidden Forest, near the clearing Aymet had inadvertently created when she had called for his help the first time. Something in her couldn't let this place go, and that same something yearned for bloodshed. She still needed to vent, and to pay them back in kind for everything that had done to her and her fellow students over the last couple years. It didn't matter that there had been little to no activity in the past few months, and it didn't matter that more often than not she ended up in the hospital or bed ridden. All that mattered was the little voice inside her, screaming for Revenge.

So far, there had been no signs of life outside of the scurrying shadows. No traces of a Hunter on patrol, no hints of a lost or simply curious student. For a while it seemed that it was just her, ghosting about the House with an inner voice that just grew more and more agitated with the continued lack of enemy. Several rooms were entered and left, from libraries to labs, empty to packed with hoarded items. The next corner the creature rounded seemed to open up into the largest room yet; once-white walls peeling with age and disuse, picture frames too broken or dirty to reveal their photos, a floor that had once been shining but was now littered with debris, and a long rail against a mirrored wall. The lights flickered, occasionally lapsing into darkness for a second or two before coming back with a vengeance.

What had once been a beautiful Dance Studio, now in ruins.

The creature let out a low rumble from deep within it's chest, a disconnected hand floating forward to swipe a single claw through the dust on the railing. The thing's unmoving face seemed to be staring down at the dust it rubbed through it's index finger and thumb, regarding it with a dim curiousity. It wiped it's claws on the dirty mirror shortly after, cleaning a section away just in time to spot a brief reflection of something red. It was enough to make the creature pivot on disconnected feet, head turning as it looked about for the owner of the reflection. It wasn't sure if it came from this room, or was a relayed reflection from another; the important thing was, it hadn't been there before, which was enough to concern.

"Who's there?!" It demanded loudly, crouching at the ready.

Haunted house duty more often than not was the least difficult of all the duties that Rep found himself doing. The dusty winding corridors of the house were quiet and despite being on the cusp of realities tended to level out at a passable temperature. There were no snakes, no bugs, often nothing but himself and the rolling fog.

Most of the time.

Today he'd been having a bad day, checking out his runic bandages had been a farce of paperwork, he'd woken up late and received snarky comments from the guy recording the shift changes. Irritation rolled off him in waves and there was none of his usual level focus as he wandered the winding corridors.

When he heard the unfamiliar voice call out to him, he replied with a guttural snarl.

"Who the <********> is asking?"

The voice that replied was by far the angriest one she had ever encountered. Not even Robert managed so sound that feral, which was something. Instinct told her to flee, but it was quickly drowned out by that little voice of Revenge, which was now screaming for attention. Yes. Someone who was just as angry as she was. How could that be anything less than perfect?

"Someone who wants you the ********> out of here." The dual-toned voice dipped into an obvious mock. She had been learning the Hunter's strange terms, and was somewhat glad to have a chance to use at least one of them properly. Amrita crouched low, head tilting. Had her face allowed it, she would have been grinning manically. "Permanently, preferably." The creature purred out, trying to sound sweet.

The next moment she was darting forward, throwing all her weight and momentum into an attempt to knock him to the ground.

"Keep ******** dreaming" Rep snarled in retaliation. It was the perfect ******** icing to a shot day, to run into something he could take his anger out. Redirection that didn't involve other hunters was always above board and even if it was a hunter, they hadn't identified themselves clearly, they had whatever was coming to them.

The initiative however went to his unseen assailant and he didn't even have time to brace himself before she was upon him. The confined space did nothing for him and mirror splintered with a crash as in one motion he summoned Tracey and fell directly on his a**. It was only ever insult to injury how useless the axe was in close combat.

Satisfying was the feel of the Hunter falling; not so satisfying was falling as well, her momentum shot by the impact to force a tumble to the ground of her own. In her peripherial vision she caught sight of the giant weapon, and made a mental note to avoid it at all costs. Something like that would cause a little too much damage, and she didn't want this to end right away, at all. First though, she had to keep herself in close range, and that sadly meant no time for the scathing remarks she had on the very tip of her currently non-existant tongue.

Amrita scrambled to her hands and knees, giving herself only a passing moment to gaze at her target. Her weight shifted quickly to her legs in order to lunge once more at her opponent; this time, her claws were out and aimed at his axe-wielding arm.

Ahh Sorry for the delay, I didn't see that you tagged me back!

Close range always resulted in a primal sort of terror and panic, in the moment he was the caveman outrunning the jaws of the tiger, the rabbit scrabbling in the grip of the fox, last ditch attempts that flooded his system with adrenaline.

There was a lull in the proximity, a desperate chance to try and recollect himself, to gather his wits - but not enough to swing Tracey, just as he lifted the axe finding himself once again subject to attack, claws lashing out at his already scarred right arm.
