Now this is just my curiosity, but what's all the stuff on the left side? Is it a static background, or are they gadgets?

It is from Rainmeter. I am using the Enigma skin with a few add-ons (the music player, hexagons, and the download bar at bottom). If you would like the links I would gladly give them to you.

Unzip the folder and search "Enigma" in your Computer's Search Bar (Start menu). Open the "Enigma" folder and put in the contents of the folder you just unzipped.

This is a .rar file so you will winrar or some similar program to open it.

You should know how to put a wallpaper on the screen.

When you first activate Rainmeter a whole bunch of stuff is default loaded on screen. Right click on a part of the Rainmeter and mouse over "Enigma" to add things. If you want to get rid of something right click on it and click "Unload skin". Any questions, comments, or concerns? When you are done designing your desktop why not upload a pic of it?

P.S. - The Hexagons in top left corner and download bar at the bottom are default black lines, so if you want me to tell you how to change it just ask.

P.P.S. - The download bar only starts working when you click on the value (the 0.0). You can change this easily as well so just ask if you want help.

However I've gone with a more classical theme currently.

Sidebar works just like in the games, and I have the icons set to launch the programs I want them to when clicked on.

I didn't find a need for the News icon, which is why it's missing.

I was thinking of going with that style, but I am replaying the G.U. series right now so it felt better using Sliderdock.
