Name: ===> BE NAMED
Your lusus named you Alexin Flynnt. You're really grateful to them, actually. It's a nice name. You did some reasearch about word meanings in ancient alternian, and it turns out Flynnt means something strong and nearly pure. Or it could be a bastardised version of another word which means ruddy, or red-blooded. You're a blueblood though, so that's unlikely. Alexin means defender of trolls. You've taken this title on seriously! Or, you know, trying to.
Blood colour: ===> BE BLOODED (#1b719c) You would like to point out that being blooded is not the same thing as what the narrator is trying to say. But you will acquiesce this request anyway. It's not like it's not obvious. Your blood is CERULEAN, the same colour as the freckles on your face and the sign on your shirt, though a shade darker than the colour on your clothes and the streak in your hair. You like your colour, it's pretty.
Gender: ===> BE GENDERED
Almost, narrator. You identify as BIGENDERED. This means that half of the time you're okay with your body. The smooth curve of your hips is welcome and right. The impending swell of your chest is correct and right and you show it off. But the other half of the time you hate it. You hate it so much. You prefer they/them pronouns to allow for sudden changes.
Symbol: ===> BE SIGNED
This time the narrator has used proper grammar. You're very proud of them. Your sign is two cocentric circles split down the middle. It's nice, you like it - it looks good on things. And it kind of represents you, stupid as that sounds. They say in the beginning trolls chose their own signs, that they found something to represent them and embraced it. You think if you had the choice you wouldn't choose anything other than yours.
Personality: ===> BE YOURSELF
Unless you were acting, which is not a hobby you enjoy, you could hardly be anything else. Really, some of these titles are quite absurd - if this continues you are going to have to lodge a complaint somewhere. Anyway, you suppose you can ignore this oversight in light of doing some description instead. Maybe.
The first things other trolls tend to notice about you is that you are /colourful/. Not only is your shirt a dull cerulean instead of black, you also own the same coloured jacket for special occasions! Your shorts are a much more boring black because your custodian is fussy about exactly how much colour they let you wear, and you don't generally wear shoes - but when you do they're also your blood colour. If a troll usually wore this much colour it'd be because they were looking for a fight - for you, it's because you read too much. In all the troll stories, those who wear lots of their blood colour are always the heros, and that's definitely who you're going to be - the interesting hero of your own story, and eventually a military hero! And you'll pacify a seadweller and and have a tragic red romance with a lowblood or maybe a lowblood will pacify you and you'll be black with a highblood or or -
You spend a lot of time imagining things. From romances to war, to victories or tragedies - but you're always the hero or the main character. And where would you get these ideas from if not books? You read a lot of books. As a pupa you were very sickly - you were lucky not to be culled, but you don't remember that, it's been glossed over in your mental archive. What you do remember is Owlmum cooing at you, and Owldad telling you story after story after story. And then, when you were old enough, giving you books, teaching you how to read them and then getting lost in them - you weren't, and aren't fussy about what kind of books they are.
You even read hobby books about different hobbies, though you've never tried them out. For example you could tell someone about how to paint, or how to glaze pottery, but you've never done it. You could show someone how to trap animals, though! Whilst as a highblood you get enough of an income to not need to hunt your own food, animals are drawn to your hive because of it's location, and you've quickly become an expert in trapping animals or scaring them away from your home. Plus the carcasses can be traded to other lower-blooded forest dwellers for interesting things they find - or that one girl who can make you clothes. You like pretty things - even when you're identifying as a male you prefer snazzy clothing to plain ones. And when you're identifying as female - accessories all the way. ALL THE WAY.
Ah, we've only touched on that, haven't we? All your life you've never been able to settle into one gender - or at least, not permanently. For perigrees you lived happily as a girl until then you didn't. And you thought - ah, that's fine. Gender doesn't always line up, after all. So you lived as a male. Only a few perigrees after that, that was wrong too. Eventually you figured out that you can't settle into either - you invariably change at some point. You're just thankful that your name is pretty adrogynous. Sometimes this does bother you - the heroes in stories are usually one gender, even if it's gender-neutral like the fairies in Pupa Pan.
But then you remember that you're writing a new story, and it's fine.

Strengths:
Knowledgeable
You spend a lot of time inside, and most of that time is spent reading books. History books, Medical texts, Cookery Books, Fiction, Fact, Rainbow Drinkers, Lusus Fluke, Newspapers - you really don't care, you'll read anything and everything. And you'll remember it, too. Let's face it, though you won't admit it your strengths definitely play to the mental and not the physical. Splitch (that's owlguardian to those who aren't in the know) encourages this behaviour. They like you reading, it's much safer than being outdoors where you might catch a cold or get hurt or anything like that. This bugs you sometimes, but it's not as if you don't enjoy knowing things, and to know things you have to research them! Should anyone ever talk about something you don't know, or crown forbid know more than you about something, you're going to jet over to the library right now to find out about it. You can also lie your way through things by ~pretending~ to know about them! This is something you do probably more often that you should, actually.
Loyal
Whilst it might take you a while to settle on something - you always like to do the reasearch and find out everything about something (or someone) before making any concrete desicions, once you've made it that's it. You believe what you believe in strongly - this applies to many things, and it includes concepts and people. For example, you're a passionate believer in the hemospectrum and the crown. All the revolutions you've ever heard about or read about have been stupid, badly-run and also really kind of dumb. It doesn't occur to you that they're written that way because history is written by the victors - and if someone were to suggest that you'd laugh at them. It's set for you now, a building block for you. Like Splitch, your lusus - other trolls might notice that they're kind of a spaz. For goodness's sake they can't even fly very well! (having four wings is not so great, after all.) But to you, Splitch is amazing. They're quiet and intelligent and big and strong! Anything everyone else says is just jealousy, obviously.
Verbose
All this book reading means your vocabulary is positively cyclopean. That means large. You're very good at talking, which is useful because you're a bit skinny to be any good at fighting. You can talk circles around most trolls and manage to make them feel good about you doing so. From white lies to blatant untruths or just flattery, you are very good at talking. You can turn schoolfeeding essays that were supposed to be one page into ten, make speeches worthy of empresses, write sappy poetry to crushes that ends up in the bin because it's way too long - well, maybe the last one isn't such a boon, but the rest is pretty good.

Flaws:
Weedy
For all the schoolfeeding talk about highblood superiority and immune systems and stuff, you're not the healthiest or strongest of trolls - in fact, you're skinny and gangly with a propensity towards the sniffles. You'd like to point out that you always get over it which obviously proves you're fine, and that you're expecting a growth spurt any day now. But whatever you might say, visually you're really not the most impressive of specimens - well, except your horns. Forward pointing and viciously sharp, you are very, very proud of them. They're one of the few shapes of horns that could actually prove useful in a fight - though occasionally you worry about being unable to kiss anybody with them.
Stubborn
Loyalty has a flipside for many trolls - and for you it's stubbornness. Once you get an idea in your head it's right, and nothing will convince you otherwise. Or at least, almost nothing - if someone you thought was a friend stabbed you that might convince you, but that is the kind of proof it takes. You latch onto ideas with a determination only seen elsewhere in pirahnas, or grubs to food. Be it a person a concept or just a piece of obscure knowledge you know you're right, and everyone else is wrong. This occasionally causes you problems - whilst you know that purplebloods and often other bluebloods are above you and you are a faithful adherent to the hemospectrum, you won't listen to them if you think they're wrong.
Know-it All
And if they're wrong well - can't resist telling people that they're wrong. You won't let things go, and people have to be told they're doing wrong. Whilst you can reign this tendency in if it's going to get you into immediate danger (for example you'd never correct a seadweller unless you had a good escape route), most of the time you simply have to be right. You're right and other people are often wrong. It's a sad state to be in, but it's simply the way the world is. But other needn't worry - you're always going to be there to tell them that.
