The witch finished her examination. "The curse should have ended when the sorcerer was beheaded. There's something that he put his energy into, which is what keeps her as a marionette. When it is found and destroyed, she will become human once more. You're what, twenty?" "Yes." Lukann found this to be an odd question. "She's about eighteen. I can see you two together." the witch left, humming merrily. "Um...what?" Lukann turned to Butterfly, confused as to the witch's last comment.
The marionette stared at her master. She would know? No, it was impossible for her to guess at what the witch's meaning. She just wanted to have a happy master, and that was not happening...

Lukann stared back before shaking his head. "Ach, there's nothing we can do now but head closer to the capital. I heard that I might get business there."
Her master was happy again. She was happy now. She remembered all her masters complaining about having no money, but for this one. He seemed happy without it. She tilted her head slightly, wondering if he needed fixing, or if her previous masters had been broken...

Lukann smiled at Butterfly as he packed up and carried everything to the small wagon he owned. It was in much better condition than his old cart, as was the horse that drove it. He put Butterfly inside, making sure she wouldn't get hurt of bumped before getting up front and heading to the kingdom's castle.
