At my high school foreign language was offered but not required, and I never took one. At my college I would normally be required to take one because of my planned school to transfer to, but my major has so many required units that it exempts me from most general ed, including that. I want to learn German eventually, so I registered for the class this term anyway and made German my minor.

Yyeaaaahhh... My school only has German and French.
My school offers Spanish. French, Latin, and Chinese. ^^ I've been taking Spanish since 7th grade (that, and I speak it at home).

All of my life I was in public school and ever since 1st grade I had taken English class until I graduated from high school. I've been taking 12 years of English class. Wow!
And now that I'm in my first semester of college I'm still taking English.
I don't want to keep taking English classes because I'm tired of it. But where I live its like a requirement. Or something like that.
My first language is Spanish and I also know a bit of Korean.
