Appearance: Aandes has a lean stature that's heightened significantly by his flamboyant hairstyle. He's just a hair taller than average, but will often make himself appear taller or shorter depending on the social situation.
Aandes' expression is often sly and catty when he's not putting on a show for his own benefit. It's framed by his horns, which are reminiscent of his symbol and boast ribbed p protrusions above ridged cylinders.They swirl and curl like elegant frozen confections, and he likes this quite a bit!
The socialite and producer loves dressing up. He has the funds to afford the highest fashions, and does up his hair and outfit each night with a lot of thought. He must always look pristine!
Weapon:Aandes has moved on from his adolescent yo-yo. He now uses a crooked cane that he also uses to assist in his walking. There is a hidden blade inside, but he prefers to parry and counter with the cane itself.

Personality
Smooth-talking Aandes LaMode can sell ice cream to a snowbeast in wintertime, they say – and they’re not far off. Who would argue with a sugar-sweet troll who is eager to please? This greenblood is always on his feet in social situations, and is already aware that his charisma is his most profitable feature. Whether he’s putting on a show, weaving hyperboles and spreading rumors, sucking up or lying through his teeth, Aandes is a troll who knows how to appease.Though, his constant social manipulation is certainly not just for the good of those who he influences. Aandes’ foremost concern is on himself and himself alone. And what better way to get ahead than riding on the hearts and pocketbooks of those around him? Aandes always tries to profit on his own and others’ schemes through the way of his words, whether his reward is a handful of beetles or a connection with a higher-up.
In his younger days, Aandes utilized his station as a mid-blood to skate by relatively easily in the high-class resort town of Four Fronds. His lusus’ lack of presence gave him free-reign, and so he spent beetles frivolously on ventures he quickly lost interest in. This stemmed from Aandes’ lazy streak – without his ambition and need to vault over others he has shown himself to be as listless as his lusus.
Aandes used to run an ice cream route around Four Fronds, which has fallen by the wayside as he has grown. He still has a pronounced sweet-tooth and an extremely refined palette, which transfers to his discerning view of tastes and personalities alike. Now in lieu of his earlier entrepreneurial activities defined by his ice cream route, Aandes intends to stay relatively out of the spotlight and produce a star.
He seeks a troll to boost through the ranks of Alternian media, which will give him a bird’s eye view of Alternian society and sit him pretty outside of conflicts looking in. Controlling the hearts of the public is tantalizing to Aandes, and standing behind a successful starlet or business gives him the power that he craves without the commitment of being underneath the harsh microscope of the public eye.
Aandes generally interacts with others by acting as a chameleon. He analyzes their manner of speech and interests, and then projects what he thinks they want to hear. Aandes generally hates loud and obnoxious or uncultured personalities, and under his acting he is a snarky and biting troll. He generally avoids anyone seeing this side of him, however, as his insecurities about his own failures and station in life are something he refuses to expose.
The hemospectrum is something that Aandes acknowledges, and intends to supercede. He firmly believes that if lowbloods want to get ahead, they just need to be smarter about it. The hemospectrum is merely a suggestion that requires finesse to manipulate – those who fold under it or try to hide via hemoanonymity simply have poor character. He’s not particularly interested in social change unless it benefits him, and has some admiration for trolls who intend to make change from within the way that he does. Aandes is not particularly perturbed by abuses of power unless it gets in his way, and often studies the techniques of those in charge to see how they get results.
Aandes’ ego and need for relative anonymity has made him fickle and somewhat shallow in his personal relationships. He is a social troll, but has no intention of committing to anything he can’t manipulate or back out of. Getting too far into an engagement and being trapped or cornered terrifies him deep down, and he'll go through every effort to burn bridges if needed. He has managed to culminate more relationships as he has grown, but still retains an opportunistic business attitude towards new contacts. That being said, if his relationships manage to reach a level where he considers a troll in one of his quadrants, they become a liability – someone that Aandes must protect for his own safety and theirs. Considering someone a danger to himself is a form of flattery in Aandes’ fairweather world; they’ve gotten close enough to him for him to not consider them dispensable.
The greenblood’s competitive spirit fuels a love of sports, which as a child he enjoyed taking advantage in. Since then, the sentiment has made Aandes into a full-blown adrenaline junkie. He has invested in a motorbike (upgrading from his two-wheeled device) and regularly speeds around the lake. As athletic as he is, Aandes is not practice at battle. He prefers others fight for him or talk his way out of a tussle. His ego bruises like a peach, especially when a loss is concerned.
He's also a sucker for all things fashionable. He basks in the glitz of celebrities, and is quite taken in by lavish lifestyles that he sees around him. He'll be hard pressed to purchase a lower-quality item for himself that doesn't have a popular Alternian cultural brand on it. Even though he insists it's all part of his image, he's actually quite sold by advertising and endorsements. Aandes always makes sure he looks coiffed and presentable in his appearance to the point of obsession. He hates risking a potential positive interaction because of split ends.

Strengths & Flaws
Strengths: Silver Tongue: Aandes is a sweet talker, to say the least. He's cool-headed in social situations, and has natural talent for getting what he wants through his natural speaking ability and sharp presence. He loves to charm and flirt, acutely aware of his effect on others. With his ability to pick up on emotional queues, Aandes can transform from an empathetic helping hand, to a wily co-conspirator, and back to an innocent passerby in an instant. He tends to keep himself out of trouble this way, deflecting blame with his charisma in a pinch. Adventurous: Aandes' rambunctiousness and dreams of travel contribute to him being a very bold young troll. He's not afraid to step out of his hive and try new things (when he cares to, that is), and prefers stepping out of his comfort zone over playing it safe. Aandes seeks new thrills in all aspects of his life, and doesn't settle for mediocrity. In relationships, food, locations and pastimes, the troll isn't afraid to be a risk-taker for the highest profit.
Perceptive: Aandes scrutinizes every angle of a situation. When it comes to piecing details together, Aandes learns fast. He loves using his awareness for his social exploits and pays close attention to body language when interacting with other trolls to predict and sway any interaction in his favor.
Flaws: Egotistical: Aandes has an inflated ego, and he can't resist flaunting it. While his narcissistic sense of self-preservation helps keep Aandes on the top of the food chain (as far as greenbloods are concerned, anyway), he won't hesitate to throw any number of trolls under the bus to maintain his pride and standing. Despite his saccharine speech, Aandes doesn't tend to think of others very highly-- he puts himself above others and doesn't tend to hold anyone in high respect.
Aandes' pride also gets him into trouble more often than he'd like. It's hard for him to walk away from someone who threatens his ego or insults him personally. If there's any method to shattering Aandes' cool, it's through his pride. He'll even get physical when dealt a low-blow of sorts.
Reckless: Being a risk-taker as he is, Aandes is also a bit of an adrenaline junkie. He may endanger himself or others doing things that are physically dangerous, because he loves pushing his limits. Both riding on perilous edges or pulling a fast one on a high blood tend to end up with someone hurt or dead, Aandes often puts himself into serious danger with his exploits. Flighty: It's tough to get Aandes to commit to anything that he doesn't completely believe in. What he does believe in is serving himself, so doing things for others without personal reward is usually out of the question. Furthermore, Aandes has a difficult time forming strong relationships. With his ideal relationship being largely one-sided and using others as tools for his own sake, getting to know the real Aandes LaMode is an arduous and frustrating process.

Koalapops
Aandes' lusus takes the form of a rather long koala, with an extra pair of legs, spindly fingers and a coiled prehensile tail. Aandes refers to him affectionately as Koalapops, or just Pops. As a child, Koalapops was ever present -- physically, that is. Despite him being around Aandes so often in his childhood, Koalapops was absent during many of his charge's important milestones, tending to forget or lack the willpower to attend. Koalapops has never been an active lusus, and spends most of his time eating and sleeping. He is proud of his charge, showers him with praise when he's wake, and gives him free reign of the hive, his route and even his funds. His passivity allows the troll a certain amount of independence, but has largely lead to Aandes' big ego, frivolous spending and reckless personality. Koalapops is so laid back it's hard to imagine him completely lucid, but Aandes does tell of a few instances when he has been sobered up and is actually quite ferocious in nature.
Koalapops' attitude caused a serious rift with Aandes later in his life; his negligence contributed to a lengthy and severe bout of depression on Aandes' part.

Aandes' Hive
Aandes lives in a tiny hive on the far end of the lake in Four Fronds. It's elegant but small, and it accommodates Koalapop's need to drop from trees. Aandes has never been sure how his lusus found such prime territory; he'll be quick to spread the rumor that it's haunted by the ghost of its previous owner, a psychic lowblood hunted for sport.
The hive itself is perky and geometric, with splashes of color painted inside the home and visible through the hive's many windows during the night. There are only a few separate rooms, with a main living space and a spacious nutrition block that Koalapop resides in while inside. In fact, it looks a lot like the interior of a frozen yogurt shop.
Aandes' respite block is on the cramped second floor, which resembles something of an attic. It barely fits his oblong recuperacoon (which he has recently removed the racing wheels from) and a desk, but he doesn't spend much time here any more. He does, however, change the posters out occasionally.

The Dance Contest! Aandes and Rasali take to the stage! They do exceptionally well, though when Aandes brings up the OHC conflict, tension occurs. Unrequited black feelings bloom with strategic tween kisses.
The Fluid Redistribution Center [LOC] During the drought of Chittentown, Aandes meets a yellowblood named Sascha. They snoop together in the facility and generally get up to no good. It's really fun.
Battle with Aendal The royalists face off against the monster Aendal, finishing him off once and for all. Aandes is deeply scarred by the trauma.
The Hero's Parade Aandes reflects over his life during the celebration following Aendal's defeat. Realizing he is alone and the fragility of life, he comes to many conclusions about his station as a greenblood on Alternia.
Save the Last Dance Rasali confronts Aandes about his lack of contact since their dance, and they reveal their deep hatred for each other.
In Bloom Aandes goes through a rocky recovery after the Chittentown Drought, and makes a lot of bad decisions.

REGINA MARIAN The Queen, of course. She has power and charisma, you suppose, but your envy for her stops you from seeing her as someone you would want to tangle with. She also intends to destroy (or rather, toy with) the Phoenix Initiative. Being on good terms and far away will suffice. Ha ha, you're making her a propaganda play under her omniscient watch. Great job, Aandes. You're in it now.
ODETTE CYGNET You first scouted her at Bloodfest, and lo and behold she turned out to be a rebel. She's now Alternia's next It Girl, and you're in charge of redefining her life for the masses. And off the stage? She's fine as a person.
