"I'm just a priestess, nothing too special." The Horseman Name: Nkosazana Nicknames: Zana, typically. Gender: Female Age: -- N/A, appears to be in her mid-20's.
Original Clan: Death
Job Role: PriestessAll priestesses, are, without fail female. They are born with stronger capabilities, or these abilities manifest in them over time: the ability to harvest Fear, the ability to learn the traditions and arts of their clan, and the ability to invoke trance: the art of illusion and realm creation. There is one Head Priestess that watches over the order.
Mount Form: Nkosazana's horse is a rather shadowy creature, feet whisping out into the night in a way that makes them seem almost to slowly fading from reality. While it is hard to pick out its face, the eyes are obvious, a piercing amethyst shade through the fog that seems to surround the creature and any that sit upon it. It is likely a horse, leaving hoof marks as it runs, but it's hard to say what exactly it is, having a hard to discern form. [ Death ] - Pale horse/ ghost-like or shadowy creatures with no solid or discernible form.
Weapon Form: Nkosazana's weapon resembles a marmeluke, a type of scimitar weapon. It, much like her shadowy horse, seems to have a constant fog around it during her FEAR attack, making it hard to distinguish from anything else, especially at nighttime. On closer inspection, it has runes transcribed on the hilt. [ Death ] : Summon a SIMPLE curved weapon, has to be sickle OR scimitar shaped.
FEAR ATTACK: T2 The Chill -- Shadow Heal -- Nkosazana does something a bit unusual and prefers to channel her fear as a way to heal herself to make herself last longer, a variety of The Chill. She channels her fear into healing wounds her or any of her fellow horsemen may sustain, to help them gather more fear and cause more grief for humans.
T2 The Pulse -- Shadow Rejuvenate -- Instead of focusing her healing ability into one large heal, Nkosazana elects to allow the healing to come over time, slowly rejuvenating and healing for upcoming attacks.
T1 The Eye -- Meditation -- Years of meditation, focus, and deep studies have granted Nkosazana a greater focus, allowing her to zone in and get a better aim or a boost to her healing.
Physical Description:
Eye Colour: Her eyes resemble the eyes of her mount, a piercing amethyst that remain her stand out feature. Hair Colour/Style: Her hair is tight and curly, in a dark shade that helps make her eyes pop even more. Skin Colour: Her skin is a rather dark chocolate brown. Clothing Style/Colours: Much like any Death member, Nkosazana wears heavy clothing. To signify her position as a priestess, Nkosazana's clothing is a bit more ornate, runes placed over the edges of her outermost outfit of particularly bright color to draw attention to them. Her typical colors are purples, blues, and other dark colors, especially ones reminiscent of night and shadow. Alternatively, using lighter colors is okay as well, so long as they keep on the same general colors--I'm not too picky, really! <33 Extra: Nkosazana is a rather tall horsewoman at over six feet, and is, build wise, rather voluptuous. If you want to add any additional features, i.e. horns, I'd be open to it! Just discuss with me the idea first. :3 References: As a human, she looks sort of like this? To help, inspiration wise! o3o

"I'd like to think I'm kind..." "Are You Alright?" -- Nkosazana has a big heart... for a horsewoman, anyway. This fact about her is undeniable. She pours a lot of her very existance into just making sure that others around her feel alright and comfortable. Perhaps she's a little more tuned into others' emotions because of how long she has spent steeped in trance, but she tends to pick up when other people are upset in some way and immediately moves to assist them. She can be more than a little too persistent if someone tries to resist her help, but if they really make it clear they do not want her help, she will probably go back to her studies. If a horsewoman or man is resistant to her help, they must need time to deal with it themselves, and that is okay. She understands that. They'll come to her when they need to.
"It's Okay, I can wait." -- Patience is a virtue, even for Priestesses of Death. This lesson was learned well by Nkosazana, who doesn't become agitated at much. She is one of those people who simply doesn't mind hours of doing the same thing steady, or even over and over. Perhaps a good skill for someone who needs to spend so much time in rituals or immersed in trance, this allowed her to gain and refine the abilities she needed as time went on.
By that token, she is also similarly patient with people. Whether they are angry, upset, or just plain old taking too long to meet up with her for a meeting, Nkosazana will wait for them to show up or attempt to soothe them until they are willing to talk. Like all, Nkosazana does have her limits, and these are usually reached when someone completely abandons their plans, forgets about her entirely, or manages to offend her admist their anger... do not call her beliefs silly, no matter what.
"Mediation is Key." -- While Nkosazana is not really an extroverted person, she is definitely in possession of people skills. Perhaps a strength that built from her empathy and her patience, Nkosazana has learned how to take her figurative steps through a conversation to keep others as contented as possible. Whether that means mediating an intensifying situation or simply relaying a message that someone else has failed to percisely, Nkosazana is an excellent diplomat, able to place her words in a calculated, gentle fashion. There are times, of course, where her mediation falls flat or one of the parties does not appreciate her attempts, in which case Nkosazana will attempt to rectify what she has done before opting to leave well enough alone. Her skills would be better used elsewhere.
"That's Fine." -- Ask Nkosazana what she wants to do and she'll turn it right back around on whoever asked. Sure, Nkosazana has her own opinions. In fact, she has a lot of them. The problem comes in where she tends to keep them bundled up inside of her, letting them simply sit and get dusty while she gets dragged around by what everyone else wants to do or talk about. Her high level of patience lets her tolerate someone leading her around for quite a while, which will probably lead others into thinking she is always this easy-going. If she is lead into doing too many things she dislikes, though, or someone pushes her boundaries too hard--she doesn't take very well to extended perversion or harm to her own--Nkosazana will eventually lash out. It just takes quite a while to get there, leading to relationships that might even be established on false similarities.
This has made it difficult to tell just how deeply Nkosazana is hurting from the loss of her people. She has lost many, a brother included, and is finding it hard to swallow a rather bitter pill. However, she is outwardly focused, and has seemed rather calm and steady despite the situation on the surface. This has made her someone to rely on to continue to keep going and to encourage their people in such dark times as the Lost Clans, but she is hurting just as badly as the rest of them, finding it hard to convince herself that everything happens for a reason. Those Hunters are monsters of their own right, and humanity deserves to be hunted down and used for their FEAR.
"Seriously, are you alright?" -- All Nkosazana wants to do is help, really. When they looked upset, she couldn't help but to run over and ask if they needed something. She couldn't help keeping on it when they insisted that they were fine, because they still looked like they were going to cry. It wasn't that she meant to annoy them. She did back off, didn't she? It's really that Nkosazana worries. Worrying comes almost second nature to her, and she does it constantly. It bothers her when other people seem upset, or when others are hurt, or when others are angry, and she constantly wonders why they won't let her help. Did she do something wrong? What happened to them? Even when situations are put to rest, she'll still concern herself sick over them. While this is mainly a social issue, she has also been known to worry over her work in classes and if she is doing her job correctly, but this is mostly bottled inside.
"Is it tomorrow already?" -- Nkosazana's level of patience, dedication to helping others, and worry about said others gives her an ability to focus on her studies or her "duties" like few others can. This comes at a price. She gains a level of tunnel vision, able to lose herself for hours on end in a trance or trying to resolve what someone else's problem might be. To this end, she will forget about what is around her and even herself, including the fact that she eventually needs to eat and sleep. When she gets herself into one of these states, it usually needs to be pointed out to her what she is doing or she will not stop until she ends up falling over of physical weakness or simple mental exhaustion. If she is not stopped, it is not horribly uncommon for her to comment on a lack of sleep the night prior, or even forgetting to eat the last day.
"It's what we've been given, let's try to understand." -- While many of her fellows find the Amityville students and Halloween at large a bit silly at best, Nkosazana knows that their isles are lost, no matter how much she wishes for them to return. They have people who are willing to assist them and provide them with land, even if much less luxurious than before--and a little too warm for Nkosazana's personal tastes. Perhaps their best way to advance is to get along with the Amityville students and Halloween denizens. She has decided to put her best foot forward and attempt to get on with them, especially pleased with those who have decided to initiate into the Lost Clans themselves. Though Priestesses are not known for being excitable, Nkosazana can be rather eager about teaching those around them about her people. Perhaps they will be more willing to help with their plight if they knew who they were, and they could unite against humanity together.
After all, the enemy of your enemy is your friend.
Note that she doesn't necessarily rank students above horsemen and probably won't have too many student close friends, but she might end up befriending them on occasion, especially initiates.
