Klymen is a rather average sea-dwelling troll, when it comes down to it. She's intelligent, ambitious, and has a nasty manipulative streak. But hey, what do you expect from a seadweller?
Klymen's intelligence, and her studying to be intelligent, partially comes from her undying ambition. Klymen is, in the nicest way possible, a bit of an attention freak. She wants to be recognized and quite nearly worshiped (except not really because worship belongs to the Queen of course!) and so this pushes her to get down to studying books. And oh yes, Klymen studies. She spends at least an hour out of her day reading and getting through her homework, because with ambition you need smarts! Klymen has no want to be a figurehead, if she's going to be known she's going to have intelligence to go with that.
Her other factor pushing her to be intelligent? Her manipulative streak, of course. Klymen plays the manipulation game like a fine tuned instrument, she knows the ins and outs of it and she knows what she has to do to to be good at it. Intelligence is a key factor in manipulation, because you have to be smarter than the other party and hey, the more knowledge she has the more the odds are in her favor. Manipulation is Klymen's way of getting things she wants, via using other trolls of course! She'd never dirty her hands, but others can do it for her. It's a rarity that Klymen makes friends, because if she's being nice to a troll it's typically because she wants something the other has. This does tend to ensure that she doesn't have many friends, at least, friends that are lower than her on the hemospectrum anyways. Klymen's friends are typically trolls that have higher blood than her, trolls she wouldn't dare try and manipulate. Klymen is ambitious, but she doesn't have a death wish, that's for sure.
Outside of intelligence and ambition, Klymen has gotten herself into a hobby of sports. Water sports of course though! Klymen's favorite sport is surfing, one she quite often spends her time on out in the water, trying to perfect her technique or figure out more ridiculous stunts to get recognition. She spends hours upon hours practicing, stopping only if she's too tired to go on. Klymen does dabble in other water sports, but she quite often returns to surfing because with surfing, Klymen feels she can sort out her thoughts and have a moment of zen out on the water. Quite secretly, another athletic thing Klymen admires is acrobatics, something she'd love to try but is unsure to get into. Sometimes, when she's sure no one will know, she tires to do rolls and tricks on the land (in a very secret, private spot of course) but she feels very clumsy and awkward doing these so she returns to her water sports. Surfing tends to take up most of her time anyways, except for her social outings.
And by social outings, Klymen typically treats these events as ways to gain recognition. Klymen attempts to get her recognition by going to a lot of events. Mostly she goes to competitions, as she likes the race and feel of working towards her athletic goals, not to mention her sports are in her domain and she feels very comfortable preforming. I don't want to go out and say she's well known, but I'd like to think she's some sort of known name in surfing competitions. A small name though, mostly because of her blood color.
Occasionally, Klymen hangs out at big social events, talking to people and wearing fancy clothing but she feels out of place and uncomfortable in these sort of events, so she tries to get out of them but she can't really ignore these all the time. Besides, at these events she can dabble in the many petty dramas that plague the highbloods and get blackmail information for manipulation. She's not a fan of drama but it has a good use, so even though she tries to ignore fancy talking events she will, eventually, go to them.
Also Klymen is a big on talking, she has to get her manipulation from somewhere so often she's talking to any troll that will listen at these surfing events or at lower key events, where she isn't expected to look fancy.
Also yep, Klymen is a bit of a dare-devil, she does do some crazy stunts that she thinks will get her more attention, but past these stunts she's going to stick to stuff she thinks is safer. I'm not exactly sure what her limit would be, but I know she has one and would stick to it under death. Klymen may be a dare-devil, but she's stubborn and smart and knows when to stop.
Klymen's stance on the hemospectrum? She very firmly believes in it. Klymen's interaction with warmbloods, at the nicest, is pure ignorance. She just pretends they aren't there and goes on about her business but when she has to interact.. it's basically borderline verbally abusive. Now, if she just had to play nice towards a warmblood, she would of course, but typically she likes to pretends they aren't there. Ever. She just thinks the lower classes are icky, gross, and holds a misconception they are common trash and lack manners or anything good. If she ever has to talk to a warmblood, god forbid, well she would probably talk very slowly and condescendingly, because she thinks many of them lack intelligence.
She tries to avoid warmbloods, in ways like hanging out with people via Four Fronds or just sticking to her part of the sea, but when she goes to hang out in Old Hemisect or takes trips into the city she runs into them occasionally so she just... uses the above techniques. She can't avoid them forever but oh boy does she try.
Klymen does enjoy the company of land-dwelling purplebloods. They are just one step below her class so she doesn't treat them badly, they're probably as close as to equals she would ever treat a land-dweller. She would act very, very regal around them though and show off a little. Very rarely would she ever manipulate a purpleblood. Bluebloods are odd for Klymen, she considers them manipulation fodder but also would consider a friendship with them. Treatment of bluebloods is just curt politeness, enough to be nice but not enough to be friendly, unless manipulation or want of an actual friendship is in place. Greenbloods to Klymen are manipulation fodder or use as workforce, end of discussion. There are no friendships with greenbloods, not any real ones anyways, just use of them and then leaving them in the dust. Anything below greenbloods is not common use of manipulation fodder, just because she thinks they're icky to the extreme.
Strengths:
- Athletic;;
Klymen is athletic, her years of being in the ocean and her general interest in sports has turned her body into a fit little swimming machine. She can swim very fast and is pretty flexible, not to mention she has some muscles and strength to help her out in situations where she needs to fight using her speed and her lance. Klymen prizes this sort of agility and feels like it makes her appear more imposing and more regal, considering her small size is a sort of a sore point for her, although she adamantly denies it. Klymen thinks her athleticism makes her seem regal and imposing because she has a fit look to her, like she could take on anyone and anything and just let it roll down her shoulders, not to mention she feels like her height matters less if she has muscle definition. Her speed, her strength, just her general look makes her feel stronger and better and so she finds her athleticism important in that sense.

The seadweller is no fool and her standing on the hemospectrum has lent her to be able to access books of all type and the time to read them all. However Klymen's intelligence is not just for learning's sake, for she typically uses this intelligence to be manipulative, cunning, and using it to the best of her ambition. You can't be the best if you're ignorant, right? Klymen typically takes an hour out of her day to read and study a little bit, mostly things that have to do with analyzing anything to get as much information out of it and politics, among her basic subjects. Rather smart, she usually gets through her self set homework quickly enough to get back to her sports hobbies.
- Ambitious;;
While already high up in the social ladder, Klymen wants to be even higher. She wants her name to be known everywhere, to be regarded as the best, socially and in her sports. While this is high ambitions, Klymen really already has half of it down, with her standing on the hemospectrum allowing her to get close to the top and enough to nearly talk to the queen which is her ultimate goal, her sports dream has a long way to go. But ambition helps and this drives Klymen to ultimately attempt to do her best in everything she does. Longer practices, taking the extra time to study if she needs to, making sure she keeps up social graces. Klymen wants it so bad that she'll use her ambition to propel her to the top.
Flaws:
- Manipulative;;
Klymen truly isn't friends with anyone. Most people are pawns to her, things that she can use to get what she wants (such as money, dresses, favors or 15 minutes of fame) and then can be easily thrown away. She has no understanding that other trolls have feelings too and that no one wants to be a pawn, but because of her standing and the fact she wants to be friends with those above her that she hasn't understood entirely that she can't use everyone. Her manipulative tendencies also cause her to make a lot of enemies, because hurt feelings for being used as a pawn can easily develop into grudges and with her high standing, it is rare Klymen will ever get punished for what she does.
- Stubborn;;
Klymen listens to the beat of her own drum. She thinks that she is correct and always right because of her intelligence and her standing and that you trying to correct her is just jealousy! Now, she won't disobey a direct order from someone higher than her, but again she's so high up that it is rare she is ordered around! As of such, Klymen rarely learns any lessons and goes on in incorrect ways because she refuses to correct bad habits. Klymen is always right in her mind! However, the one exception to this stubbornness comes to her sports, to a degree anyways. If she has an incorrect technique, she will allow herself to be corrected, before continuing to go on in her way. Her ambition tops her stubborn pride for a moment, because you can't get to the top being bad!
- Impatient;;
Klymen has very little patience when it comes to getting what she wants when she's ready for it. As a seadweller, she's quite used to getting what she wants at the drop of a hat and so having to wait or, even rescheduling for another day or waiting tomorrow to get something, is quite foreign to her. As of such, when she doesn't get what she wants immediately Klymen often throws a tantrum of sorts, stirring up drama and using her connections to bring down bad things on whom she wants something from until she gets her object of choice. This is quite detrimental because quite honestly, Klymen cannot go on forever believing that she can get what she wants whenever she wants it. To be truly manipulative, and ambitious, Klymen has to wait.
