~~ The Planets ~~
Each Hero has a planet on which the majority of their main quest takes place.
~ Land of Trees and Breeze ~ The Land of Trees and Breeze, or LOTAB, has constantly pleasant weather and a light breeze. The local red salamanders build their homes high atop the trees of the lightly forested planet to avoid the wrath of the denizen, Typheus, who is said to eat anyone on the ground during the night. This is mostly myth, as there has not been a night on LOTAB in longer than living memory, however, dusk draws nigh as the knight of Breeze appears and the planet is beset by the forces of Derse.
~ Land of Ships and Waves ~ The Land of Ships and Waves, or LOSAW, is one great ocean dotted by islands comprised of crashed ships. The local fuchsia turtles roam the seas on ships bearing the Jolly Roger, fighting over territory and burying their riches deep withing the holds of sunken ships. It is said that there was once dry land on LOSAW, but it is said that the planet's denizen, Cetus, flooded the planet long ago in a fit of rage, and has since vanished. However, new pirate crews formed of the armies of Derse appear as the Corsair of Light awakens in his home beneath the waves.
~ Land of Books and Couches ~ The Land of Books and Couches, or LOBAC, is a desert world, with vast libraries buried in the sands. The local red iguanas make their lives atop the vast buildings in villages built around oases, unaware of what lies below them. It is said that long ago, the planets denizen, Hephaestus, hid away the memories of everyone on the planet when he made the world a desert. However, ancient secrets are coming to light with the arrival of the Librarian of Time, and the raiding of the ancient libraries by the forces of Derse.
~ Land of Storms and Transit ~ The Land of Storms and Transit, or LOSAT, is a world constantly enshrouded in storms. The local inhabitants, some of which are Amethyst Tortoises, and some of which are Sapphire Newts, are nomadic in nature, traveling via the automated bullet trains, spending most of their lives stuck waiting for the next train to get to the terminal. It is said that, long ago, the planet's denizen, whose name has been lost to time, created the trains as a cruel joke on the people, letting them get places, but never on time. Of course, things may change since the forces of Derse have arrived, followed shortly by the Rogue of Blood.
~ Land of Graffiti and Gangs ~ The Land of Graffiti and Gangs, or LOGAG, is under the effects of a perpetual twilight during which the three competing tribes of locals, the Emerald Frilled Lizards, the Yellow Bearded Dragons, and the Red Alligators, are in a constant battle to determine which color is the best, which they perform by painting the urban landscape with their respective colors. It is said that, long ago, the tribes were all color blind, until the planets denizen, Yaldabaoth, vanished. Lately, a the Derse forces have been painting large sections of the planet black, and the locals look to the Bard of Heart to solve this new problem.
~ Land of Highways and Icebergs ~ The Land of Highways and Icebrgs, or LOHAI, is an aquatic world. Long ago, the planet's denizen sunk all of the cities below the surface of the water, and caused the poles to crack, spreading icebergs around the planet. The local Jade Penguins live on the free floating icebergs. Recently, the forces of Derse have begun trying to claim all of the icebergs for themselves usinug the planets intricate elevated highway system that survived the sinking of the cities to move around. With the arrival of the Page of Mind, however, their plans may go awry.
~ Land of Dungeons and Frogs ~ The Land of Dungeons and Frogs, or LODAF, is a bleak, barren planet with in numerous dungeons dotting the landscape. Most are half flooded and filled with similarly in numerous frogs. The local Cerulean Thorny Devil Lizards live in small colonies just outside of the entrances, and dare not venture in, for it is said that any who do will befall the wrath of the planet's Denizen, Echidna. Recently, the forces of Derse have been trying to find ways into the dungeons to get a hold of the frogs, and the arrival of the Thief of Space and the ancient Forge, they must hurry.
~ Land of Tactics and Starlight ~ The Land of Tactics and Starlight, or LOTAS, is eternally a cloudless night, lit by bright stars. The native indigo crocodiles live behind large walls. Occasionally, they form small militias, and have them compete in combat tournaments to determine which town gets to be better than the others until the next tournament. Recently, however, large roving bands of Dersite soldiers have been harrying these militias on their way to the tournaments. Long ago, Abraxus separated the towns by vast expanses of uninhabitable land only usable for conflict between them by placing gigantic structures that look like they may have been part of some enormous creature's board game everywhere. With the forces of Derse on the move, the locals are down to their only hope now that the Seer of Hope has appeared.
~ Land of Cards and Dew ~ The Land of Cards and Dew, or LOCAD, is a lush, verdant world that is nearly constantly soaked in a light morning dew. The local yellow diamond back rattle snakes build their homes out of giant playing cards they found laying around between the small pockets of forest dotting the landscape. It is said that, long ago, Hemera, the planet's Denizen, sealed away the sun, and there has not been a truly clear day since. recently, the forces of Derse have taken up residence on the planet, and seem to be causing no end of grief for the natives. The stage is set for a climactic quest with the arrival of the Maid of Life to the planet.
~ Land of Twilight and Circuits ~ The Land of Twilight and Circuits, or LOTAC, is, as it's name implies, constantly twilight. The villages of the local light blue gila lizards live in tall neon villages connected by many glowing strait lines that seem to zig and zag at odd intervals with brighter lights that pass through them. The is an old rumor that the lines in the ground used be used for something, but no one can remember. Recently, the forces of Derse have begun trying to interrupt the lights between the cities, and it is up to the recently arrived Heir of Rage to stop them.
~ Land of Autumn and Glowsticks ~ The land of Autumn and Glowsticks, or LOAAG, is a planet enshrouded in a constant midnight with a crisp, cold air. The local purple monitor lizards light their homes with the plentiful glow sticks that can be found everywhere throughout the planet. They like to have loud parties with flashing lights and rhythmic music. Recently, the Dersite forces have been attempting to interrupt the native's raves, and this seems to have made the planet just a little bit colder. If the Sylph of Doom does not figure out what is wrong quickly, the planet will likely suffer a long, cold winter.
~ Land of Ravines and Ruins ~ The Land of Ravines and Ruins, or LORAR, is a craggy world, dotted by ancient ruins. The local olive chameleons live either in, or by excavating, the various ruins. It is said that the ruins were created by an ancient civilization that was wiped out by the planet's denizen, Nyx. This seems to matter less, however, with the sudden onslaught of Dersite ruins robbers as the Mage of Void takes his place on the planet.
