I look back at him. "Oh well I am sure the only thing is being picked on for being different from the world... or even being bullied by our own kind.." I say to him going back to breaking up my smoothie with my straw.

Haraku's eyes shifted off to the side.
He never said a word about what made
him the way he was today, and that was
not going to change now.
"... Yes... of course..."

I notice him being reserved but I don't wanna push him so I just stay quiet. I then feel the awkwardness in the air.

Haraku remained silent as well. This was
normal for him, even though he often hated
absolute silence. But he hated having to
break silence with words even more.

I finish my smoothie and get up to throw it away. I look at him then think a bit quiet, "What would you like to do now?" I ask him still trying to keep up a conversation.

Haraku finished as well and looked up at her.
"... It's... really up to you..." He said, still shyly.
"... I don't know..." He got up and threw out
his own cup and came to her side again.

I look at him and laugh. "Well I can't choose all the places... I mean I'm sure you have things that you would like to do.." I say to him pushing some of my hair back.

then tilted his head a bit to one side.
"... The Beach...?" He suggested.

I look up at him. "Yeah sure.. do you wanna stop by the dorm to change into our bathing suits? Seeing how it is summer and a bit warm.." I say to him.

Haraku still hadn't smiled once since
they met, but he did feel a bit happier
than usual, and nodded once in response.

I look at him and smile, "Okay let us go!" I say to him. I grab his hand and lead him to our dorm.
