Powers: Years of perfecting his "perfect meal" have lead Art to inject the bodies of his victims with a special and potent serum which, when built up in his system, have given him a variety of abilities that most would call "superhuman". These abilities include:

Immunity to Most Diseases and Toxins: The serum in his blood stream is a powerful antibiotic and infection protection agent.

Increased Endurance and Agility: Tied into the decrease in the effectiveness of toxins, the toxins his body would produce as a sign of fatigue are severely less effective. This allows him to run farther and faster and lift more weight for longer periods of time.

Increased Reflexes: The buildup of the serum in his brain has led to an overall boost in the rate at which synapses fire in Art's brain. His reaction times, thought processes, and the like are all improved.

Weaknesses: Art is a psychopath with sociopathic tendencies, meaning he is incapable of compassion, love, or mercy. While he might not show it, he strives to kill and eat many of the people within his life. This development means he is utterly incapable of truly fitting into society.

Abilities: Marco an incredibly talented runner.

Powers:
Cybernetic/Robotic Arm and Rebreathers:
Marco, after sustaining a critical injury in a shoot-out, lost his left am and nearly had both of his lungs burst. Experimental and black-market technology was used to repair him. The arm is made of carbides and plating that is bullet-proof and nearly indestructible, and the rebreathers in his chest allow for breathing in the most toxic of areas.

Weaknesses: As a result of the enhancements, Marco can't feasibly swim well, nor sustain electrical shock without having his arm paralyzed for a short time. The arm is also a taboo, and must be kept hidden.

Technology/Weapons/Pharpenilia:
Marco's arm is his signature weapon, as well as a classic style 1911 .45 caliber pistol. He also carries a lighter which was given to him by his papa.

History
Theme Song:
Marco Cruz was born in New Mexico, but thanks to connections made in his father's past, they were able to move to Alto Nuevo. Marco and his brother had to set connections up in the criminal underworld in order for their family to sustain a life in the city. Marco made himself as a gunrunner, while his brother Sergio proved capable of trafficking almost anything.

However, during a job gone bad, Marco and his brother were caught in a firefight between their gang and a rival association. The resulting gunfight ended with Marco's loss of arm and the disappearance of Sergio.

Upon returning from the surgery that built his new arm, Marco discovered his gang had killed his father as punishment for botching the job, Now Marco had rebuilt his reputation enough to be considered the head gunrunner, and he's determined to keep it that way. Marco does his own dirty work whenever he can, and isn't afraid to use his arm to strike fear into the hearts of his enemies.

Personality: Generally quiet and level-headed, Ellaraine has a habit of analyzing everything she sees. Behavior, action, words, is all up to her wise interpretation. Years of wandering have made it difficult for her to truly form bonds with people, and her generally pragmatic and introverted nature only make it harder for people to be close to her. When she finds those who are like-minded to her way of thinking, she will stick close to them.

Skills: Staff-fighting, alchemy, survival techniques.

Abilities: Being an elf, Ellaraine his more lithe and nimble compared to humans. Her immune system is also deeply rooted into the natural world, allowing most diseases or sicknesses found in nature to leave her completely safe.

Powers: Ellaraine is a druid and an experienced one at that. She has a natural connection to nature:

Animal Alignment: Ellaraine can bind her consciousness with that of an animal; essentially allowing her to see through that animals eyes and "speak" to it in her mind. This ability also allows her to call forth animals, and they are never likely to attack her unless she provokes them.

Elemental Alignment: Her connection to nature allows her to use latent energies in the environment to utilize magical abilities. Drawing in the power of the raw-earth can allow her to fire bolts of lightning-like energy, lift objects with her mind, and empathically communicate with others.

Healing Magic: Ellaraine can mend and call the life-forces of beings who have been injured. A large laceration can be healed with a touch and some encouragement from the druid, and broken bones require little effort. Lost or nearly lost limbs exert more energy and tire Ellaraine out faster, and diseases or infections can deplete her stamina quickly.

Weaknesses: Being an elf, and a Pale Elf at that, Ellaraine is not physically sturdy or durable as other races. Socially, she is also not very comfortable in large groups, and prefers to be alone or in the company of very few.

Technology/Weapons/Pharpenilia:
Ellaraine carries a wooded staff which is an heirloom from her mother. It is both a spiritual weapon and a physical one, and is prized dearly to her.

Ellaraine was born to two of the few remaining Pale Elves in the Northern Pale. The clans to few and far between, her father left her in the care of her mother, an accomplished druid, to be raised. A vastly isolated childhood with her mother honed Ellaraine's solitary personality, and also proved to sharpen her inborn magical talents.

When Ellaraine's mother said she had learned all that she had to teach, the young elf of 32 was given the mark of the Wanderer, and allowed to roam the land. Her skills have only gotten more potent and her mind wiser. She roams the land in search of new and wondrous prospects to better her knowledge.

None besides being human in a physical sense. As a person, Doug's only real weakness is that he can be incredibly stubborn and callous when angered.

All of Doug's "powers" are derived from the use of the War Machine suit.

Superhuman Strength: He is capable of lifting between 85-100 tons when wearing his armor.

Superhuman Speed: Even when not traveling for extended distances, the armor enables the wearer to move and react at high speeds.

Enhanced Durability: His armor is very durable, capable of withstanding tremendous amounts of punishment. It can withstand high caliber bullets with ease. He can also withstand rockets, torpedoes, and such, although he does take damage.

Flight: The armor can fly and travel at supersonic speeds.

Power Cells: The armor is powered by a combination of solar converters, electrical batteries and an on-board generator that uses beta particle absorption as a fuel source.

Energy Conversion Power Recharge: The armor is also able to convert nearby energy sources, such as heat or kinetic energy into electricity, or even drain electrical energy directly into the batteries for recharge.

Self-Contained Life-Support System & Environmental Protection: The armor can be completely sealed for operations in vacuum or underwater, providing its own life support, and is shielded against radiation.

Repulsor Rays: The armor can fire particle beams from either or both the palm gauntlets which can repel physical and energy-based attacks, traveling as a single stream or as a wide-field dispersal.

Unibeam: A powerful searchlight capable of projecting beams in virtually every light spectrum.

Hobbies/Pastimes: Tinkering with machines, programming, gymnastics, weapons technology, skipping classes, winning at the skipped classes, getting into/out of trouble.

Talents/Skills/Powers: Being raised by Tony Stark, she has grown incredibly skilled at designing, building, and modifying technology for weapons and gadgets. She has invented several new uses for ARC technology, and revolutionized aspects of her father's company with her talents. Since her interest in following in her father's footsteps of a superhero began, Billie has trained her body for taking pain that would go along with that line of work. She is trained in several different martial arts and gymnastics.

Costume: A modified version of her father's Iron-Man suit that is colored a steel-grey with cold blue eyes and made to be considerable lighter. Her helmet, boots, and gauntlets are pretty much the only thing that still retains a hint of the Iron-Man suit that she based it off of, and even those have undergone considerable changes.

She wears gloves and boots which house small ARC-reactors like the Iron-Man suit, and boots which allow for flight. Billie wears a metal and carbon-weave sash across her chest which also is equipped with an ARC reactor for pulses of energy, and as a back-up for the rest of the apparatus. She also wears a belt which holds laz-charges for bigger weapons like the laser-swipe.

What makes her outfit vastly different from her father's is the addition of long, whip-like chains which are housed in the forearms. Based off the villain "Whiplash", Billie has adapted these chains to work as electrifying whips, grappling hooks, and given them enough magnetic properties to allow her to ski through the air while they're attached to a jet in flight. The whole of the suit and its parts are also lined with a non-conductive fiber-like material to avoid electrocution.

How does s/he dress or what do they typically wear? Average teenage clothes; usually a grey or black beater and baggy cargo-pants with tennis shoes.

Other accessories: Always carries her ARC reactor gloves on her person.

Weapons: ARC pulse gloves, laser-emitters attached, electric and multipurpose whips.

Health: Impeccable

Physical Flaws: She is a bit lightly built, which has proven to get her a bit more bruised up in the course of her crime-fighting.

Physical Qualities: Lithe, light, athletic, and well muscled.

Intelligence Level: Incredibly high, just like her parents. She is capable of immense focus and multitasking, as well as creative ingenuity.

How do they see him/herself? Very highly, just on the cusp of arrogance. She fancies herself a big-damn hero, and isn't afraid to show off.

What does the character like least about themselves? Deep-down, she hates her issues with making real friends because of her attitude; she's just too stubborn to change it.

Most at ease when: She's in control and things are going as they should, even if it doesn't look like it.

Ill at ease when: Her taunts and trying aren't getting the job done, and she has to push even harder.

Character/Personality/Mental/Social Strengths: She is incredibly charismatic, and able to get along with most people if she chooses to. Her confidence is always abundant, and it is undeniable in her actions. This confidence leads to little guilt for small mistakes, and allows her to beat the odds, even at the most unexpected times.

Background Story:
Tony Stark and his long-time love interest, Pepper Potts, marry and have Byllia. Being born into the Stark family, Billie was exposed readily to her fathers machines and gadgets, and became infatuated from a young age with the idea of taking up her father's career as a superhero.

She tinkered with Tony's designs as soon as she was able to hold a pencil correctly; redesigning aspects of the ARC-reactor allowed for it to be used in areas previously impossible. Billie won over many grants in her youth for Stark Industries, and quickly became known as the "Prodigal Daughter". With each passing year, Billie worked on her design for a super-suit, until, when she turned 15, her father found one of her designs for the whip-chain.

At first shocked she would consider using Whiplash's stolen tech, he soon became very proud of how the whole design fit into her idea for a hero outfit. After many weeks of talking it over with her parents and best friend, Doug (Roadie's son), her dreams came true: she would get to fight crime. She and Doug spent weeks longer finalizing the design and coming up with bad-a** names. Names such as "B*tchslap" and "Sabrelash" were considered, but ultimately Chainlink was established as her title.

Her first prototypes caused more mayhem then assistance, but eventually the used and effective Chainlink apparatus was finalized. Billie established herself as a crime-fighter terrifyingly fast, and was picked up as a reserve Avenger by the time she turned eighteen.

Outwardly, she is friendly, if a bit shy at times. Through her action, it is easy to see she is kindhearted, and rarely if ever lets her temper get the better of her. When in times of emotional struggle, she will remove herself from anyone around her, and refuse to speak.

Skills: While she has no formal martial arts training, the gauntlet has granted her knowledge of hand-to-hand techniques which appear to be alien in origin, and have proven gracefully effective in use.

Abilities:
She has been known to be a gifted artist, often doodling in her school-books, or painting across entire surfaces out of nowhere. Phoebe is also a gifted singer, but her injury prevents too much singing for extended periods of time.

Powers:
All of Phoebe's powers are derived from the black, leather-like sleeve she wears on her right arm. It is an artifact created by an ancient race of hunters known as the Vexilians, and is capable of changing appearance slightly to fit the needs of the wearer. The sleeve is also clingy, in that it can't be removed by normal means. The powers granted by the gauntlet include:

Revenant Costume:
In order to access most of her abilities, a black, full-body, light suit overtakes Phoebe's body. It pulls a hood tightly over her eyes, but she can still see perfectly through it, as well as see in thermal, X-ray, and infared. The suit is bulletproof, and resistant to high levels of damages and temperature.

Superhuman Strength:
Whether wearing the suit, or simply the sleeve, Phoebe is gifted with enhanced strength. She can lift roughly 25 tons.

Superhuman Speed:
With the suit over her, Phoebe can run at around 75mph for short periods of time, and extended distances at about 35mph.

Superhuman Reflexes/Agility/Dexterity:
She can react with speeds quicker than a normal human, and posses balance and coordination on par with Olympic level athletes.

Flight
If the suit is covering her body, Phoebe can fly through the air at speeds approaching the sound barrier, though she has yet to break it, or attempt to break it.

Cloaking/Shroud:
The suit can bring Phoebe into a state of invisibility which also masks her body heat.

Phasing:
While wearing the suit, Phoebe can phase through solid objects, slipping her molecules through the structure of the object and allowing her to come out completely safe.

Energy Projectiles (Shadow Bolts):
She can fire strange projectiles which look like bolts of grey-ish red energy from both of her hands. They react to most material as a laser might, causing intense burns and pain in most beings.

Alien Technology Detection:
The gauntlet can detect and track devices and energy signatures of alien origin, but can only relay the information to Phoebe in the Vexilian language, which she doesn't understand.

Weaknesses:
Despite all of her powers granted by the gauntlet, Phoebe is a mortal, with mortal weaknesses. With enough force, she can be injured.

History

Phoebe Foster was born in Carlsbad, New Mexico about three years after the Blackest Night event, to Hannah and Caleb Foster. During her infancy and earlier toddler years, Phoebe contracted several awful chest colds, mostly whooping cough or strep throat developed alongside these ailments, and her throat was scarred from the harsh coughing.

She lived a pleasant and not unusual childhood despite this, though never made many friends. Phoebe loved to explore the deserts around her, and would wander for hours before finding her way back. When she was twelve, a robber held up the gas station her mother, Hannah, was shopping at, and she was killed in the crossfire between the lowlife and the police.

The criminal was convicted, and apparently reformed in prison. All the while, however, Phoebe was broken inside. Now, her silence was drawn from a steadily growing depression, which made her wander even more in the cold desert nights without much care.

During one of these outings, Phoebe came across something shining in the rocks far from any towns or cities. Curiosity drove her to investigate, and she came upon a dusty, dark, metal gauntlet. Without thinking very much, and not wanting to carry the thing home, she slipped it on. Her mind was immediately seized with strange, otherworldly speech, and the suit which she now dons regularly overtook her form for the first time.

Her subconscious filled with thoughts of her mother's murder just a few months prior. After a few nights of experimenting with the capabilities of the gauntlet, and seeing what the device allowed her to do, she hatched a plan. Cloaking herself, she fly into the walls of the prison the man was kept in, and the suit allowed her to sneak past security with ease.

She found the man's cell, her suit leading her right to it, and took her revenge with the super-enhanced strength she now possessed. After that night, Phoebe felt darker for the next few years, all the while her father began dating a woman named Elaine over the internet. Phoebe was indifferent to her father's decision to move to Coast City, as she no longer had anything keeping her attached to the town she was raised.

Since moving to Coast City, Phoebe has felt she could use the new setting to test her abilities. Shortly after, she developed the superhero persona of "Revenant".

Personality: Being a methamorphmagus, it is understandable that Zelma is accustomed to changing her personality for whomever she's portraying. She thoroughly enjoys messing with others by way of her ability to change her appearance, and often does so in the midst of conversation. Zelma is quite good at coming up with completely new personas right off the bat, but when it comes to her own personality she can be rather laid-back, if a bit quiet. As a Ravenclaw, Zelma is very intelligent, and generally studious enough for her fellow Housemates even if she's more laidback than others.

Always trying to make someone a bit uncomfortable makes her feel a bit better about her own downfalls; such as her pet peeve of being the center of attention. All in all, Zelma can be described as focused, lighthearted, and a bit mischievous.

Fears: Being watched by large crowds can make her irritable, and she has a fear, deep down, of people making fun of her for her ability.

Dragonology Expert: Both of Zelma's parents are part of the cult dedicated to the Dragon Lord. In keeping with their traditions, they raised Zelma with all the knowledge of dragons available to the Wizard community.

Abilities:
Mimicry: Zelma has found that she's always had a knack for impersonating voices and actions, even mannerisms on her best days.

Cooking: From the time she was little, she has always been able to prepare and cook food as though it was second nature. This has gone a long way to improve her skills in potion-making.

Powers:
Metamorphmagi: Zelma was born as a metamorphmagus; a witch with the ability to manipulate her entire appearance without use of spells or potions. She can overhaul her appearance to such extents as to change her sex, height, weight, age, race, even down to her hair and eye color. This allows her to copy the appearance of another person entirely, making for effective disguises.

Weaknesses: Despite being a witch, Zelma is still susceptible to all human weaknesses.

Zelma Worthing was born to Kendrick and Lynda Worthing in Liverpool, England, and was raised as a member of an ancient, secretive cult that worshipped dragons: The Acolytes of Ca'ungol. Zelma was raised into the traditions of the cult: The belief that dragons were sacred and that Ca'ungol, the Dragon Lord, was a god. This cult also believed that Ca'ungol's prophesied heir, the "Prince of Dragons", would wake Ca'ungol from his sleep and this would herald the 'Dragon's Reckoning": An event in which Ca'ungol would bring about the subjugation of humankind and make dragons the dominant species on the planet, with the Acolytes ruling over those who were subjugated.

However, as the cult was founded during the times of the Roman Empire, it was inevitable that most Acolytes would have spread out throughout the world, and thus Zelma and her parents only traveled to Rome, Ca'ungol's resting place, once every year in what the Acolytes call the "Acolyte's Journey". Due to not being born a zealous Acolyte, Zelma's belief in the cult's teachings waned over time.

When she was eleven, Zelma was notified by Hogwarts School of Wtchcraft nd Wizardry that she, like her parents before her, was accepted to join the school and learn magic there. What she doesn't realize is that she's currently attending school with the Prince of Dragons himself...

Personality: As a collector of data across the universe for the greater mind of the Syn-Machines, Unit's mind is wiped clean of memories and personality at the start of every mission. It is given the soul-purpose of collecting information on any available life and planets, and is therefore highly curious. Mimicry is a common tool it uses to engage in deeper experiences with learning to collect more data. This being the case, Unit is not without emotion, and is capable of developing a personality just as well as any race new to a planet it has no information on.

Fears: Not being able to collect information as it is supposed to.

Skills:
Observation: As is it's purpose, Unit is capable of getting every angle of something it needs more information on.

Abilities:
Due to it's genetically engineered and enhanced nature, Unit is capable of feats of speed, strength, reflex and various other categories at a superhuman level. Strength and speed could be placed on-par just above augmented humans.

Due to modifications during gestation and, despite being a biological entity, Unit is immune to toxins and diseases of all but the most all-encompassing sicknesses..

Powers:
Mimicry: Unit's goal is almost solely achieved by means of copying the appearance and physical qualities of any it observes. When it copies, if a genetic sample is taken, Unit is capable of emulating superhuman abilities possessed by the subject. However, as Unit is both biological and possesses cybernetic/mechanical qualities, it can't be effected if abilities are granted by things such as power rings or suits, but it can manipulate the suit it wears to mimic certain levels of advanced technology.

After a genetic sample has been obtained, Unit may revert to any cataloged form and retain all abilities that form possesses. The draw, however, is that Unit cannot cross cataloged forms to create better ability combinations or unique forms.

Language Mimicry: Though the Syn don't have a language of their own, Unit is capable of developing a syntax library of it's own. By making physical contact with a subject for a short time, Unit can copy over language knowledge into it's own database. To fully comprehend a language, physical/telepathic contact must be maintained for several minutes.

Longevity: Unit lives indefinitely on it's own.

Healing Factor: Injuries sustained by Unit are repaired at a faster than human rate; this ability is present despite what subject Unit is mimicking.

Self-Sustainable: Unit does not require food or drink, but can digest food or other items if mimicking a form which does, such as a human.

Weaknesses: A hiccup in Unit's system is that, while mimicking someone, if sufficient damage is sustained, the healing factor will overwrite the currently copied genetic structure and cause an "overheated" period. It takes approximately two hours, depending on the amount of damage sustained, before the system is cooled down.

In the event of catastrophic destruction that leaves Unit unrecognizable, the system will enter a hibernation-refresh state. All memories and collected data will be erased while Unit recovers and regenerates.

Unit was created by a race of super-intelligent, ancient alien machines called the Syn-Machines. It's original genetic code was taken from a race known as the Tolnaar, which were known for their ability to manipulate their genetic structure to significant lengths at will. Unit was the result of attempts at genetically engineered "super Tolnaar", capable of copying the very slightest aspects of other races.

Shorty after it's creation at the hands of the Syn, it was given the directive of collector of information; the reason behind this being that the Syn do not communicate with other races in any way. Unit would be sent off to hundreds of inhabited and uninhabited planets and collect entire databases of information for the Syn banks. However, to allow for unspoiled results of data-collection, Unit's mind is "wiped" upon return to the Syn.

Seven-hundred years after Unit was sent deep into Sector 2814, after suffering a slight malfunction and crashing onto a stasis-level climate on Earth, Unit's pod went into a hibernation state. Recently, though, the temperature has passed the threshold into habitable, and began sending off small trace signals of energy as a means of drawing the first mimic-able race to it.

Race: Ersomi -- The Ersomi are a highly technologically capable race from the planet Ekarn'n. The atmosphere on Ekarn'n is actually comprised mainly of carbon dioxide and oxygen, meaning that the race requires a higher volume of carbon dioxide to survive outside of their home planet. This problem is solved by means of special rebreather masks, which have become a cultural symbol for them, which are able to synthesize more CO2 content from the air which would be considered the atmospheric normal for humans.

While overall very similar in appear to humans, Ersomi differ in a few ways; most notably skin color, which is either grey or pale white, iris color, which is frequently more in the scope of red or yellow, number of fingers and toes, as an Ersomi will have three fingers and a thumb on each hand, and only four toes (lack of pinkie) and hair growth; an Ersomi only grows hair on their head, and it is generally short, with thin eyebrows.

They are an introverted people, and rarely interact with other races when they don't have to. Few become pirates, as few ever decide to leave Ekarn'n.

Clothing: She can always be found wearing her black and silver "respiration" suit, which works along with her helmet to keep her oxygen/carbon dioxide levels balanced. Like many females of the Ersomi, she is accustomed to wearing a hood around her helmet-mask.

Personality: Generally upbeat, kind, and somewhat childish in her behavior, Yvi is actually quite intellectual. She finds joy in the small things in life, like the perfect hum of a functioning artificial gravity system, and she tries to let the light of her good mood spread to others around her. Often, she will try to please everyone, even over little things, and failure to ensure everyone is happy will generally make her upset. Being on-task is a calming feeling for her, and it will allow her more laid-back, casual, intelligent self to come out, whereas she can be rather energetic when not completely focused. When people are in distress around her, she is quick to try and find the source of their ill-mood, and will do whatever she can to remedy the situation. When she herself is in a bad mood, she can be snappy, or whine before going into jabbing fits of anger.

Yvi doesn't enjoy talking about herself, unless it involves her work, and is vert slow to tell people about the Ersomi when they ask about them. She views her place aboard the Excalibur II as a new adventure, and is endlessly fascinated by the prospect of exploring space.

Bio:
Yvinn-Jettidii Nahl was born on the Esromi homeworld of Ekran'n during the first meetings between the Imperial Fleet and the Esromi peoples. She was among the first of the Esromi to have access to the workings of human technology, so from a young age the young girl was fascinated by the world outside of her own. With only a few other of the younger Esromi, Yvinn tried to convince their elders to join the ranks of the Imperial Fleet. While the elders were more than hesitant, they did allow Yvinn and a few others of her people to induct themselves aboard I.F. vessels in hopes of creating an understanding between the cultures.

At the age of eighteen, Yvinn and her fellow Esromi youth boarded different I.F. ships, each in hopes of finding their own adventure. At first, Yvinn was stationed aboard the Imperial Fleet ship Argent Gladius, where she made friends, and even engaged in human courtship social phenomena with a few of the crew members. After six years aboard the Argent Gladius, Yvinn was moved to the Excalibur II because of her innate grasp of techological workings, even for technology considered alien to her people. She is ready to make herself useful to the Imperial Fleet, and hopes her commanding officers will look to her, and her people, with kindness and respect, just as she does to them.
