I wish he was mine

This is a poem I wrote along time a go about a vey special boy that isn't so special anymore. Let me know what you think

His eyes shine bright
His smile even brighter
He makes me happy
He shines like a light in the dark
I wish he was mine

Graduation is the day we part
A huge would make my year
If he would hold me tightly
I would faint with happiness
I wish he was mine

One glance at him makes me smile
When his eyes meet mine my heart jumps
When he smiles at me my heart races
A smile and tears appear at the thought of him
I wish he was mine

But he never will be

Reminds me of the boy I liked in highschool. At grad I asked his best friend to dance b/c I was too scared to ask him. *sigh*

"I would faint with happiness" means you'd be happy to faint!
I think you mean "I would faint from happiness" or something! razz

Thanks , I see what you mean there! Yeah I liked him a lot! Sadly, I had dated his best friend and wouldn't risk ruining my morals. Don't date someone if I've dated there friend pretty recent :~)
