Okay, so a friend of mine just told me he sort of likes me.. I dont know him well enough to know if I like him back the way he wants.

How do I approach this without hurting his feelings?!

Honesty is the best policy.
Tell him that you don't know him well enough.
If you want, you could tell him that you'd
like to get to know him better before deciding anything.

I told him that I dont know him well enough, but I'd like to know him better. Then he said I am smart and pretty and stuff.
Now we are basicly talking about what we like to do..
He is being nice and stuff, but... Hmm. I'll see how this plays out, see what happens, I will let you guys know what happens =)
Any tips on how to make sure it isn't akward at school?

Get to know him and enjoy yourself but please promise me that the moment you know that you don't like him in a romantic way you will break up with him?
I know it will be hard but don't lead him on, it'll only get harder and hurt more and more, the longer it goes on...

Thanks for the tip, but we aren't going out, he just told me he liked me, and I said that we should get to know eachother better..
Did I make the impression about the way I wrote it that we were together? Crap..

lexilex17 I don't think you gave that impression. how have things been so far? Funny that you ask, I started to like him and he asked me out, my answer was yes, but we are going for lunch next week, so we can see if it is what both of us want, and that we acctually have a connection.
I'll let you girls know what happens.
