Sheridan blinked, staring even though he knew he shouldn't. Was that...lace, and red, and oh god those were Tess' panties! WHY WAS HE STARING AT TESS' PANTIES!? He shouldn't be staring at those, he shouldn't, he shouldn't! And yet he was...
PANTY SHOT, IT'S SUPER EFFECTIVE!
He shook his head, quickly looking away from the distraction, had that been Legs' goal all along? To distract him so she could--ARRGGG!
It was a fierce roar, one of anger and pain, but if Legs thought he would fly into a rage as he had once before, she would find herself disappointed. He was not so sensitive as he had been before, though he still hated his tail being bothered, he had learned to control that reaction. BUT BY THE COSMOS THAT HURT!
His tail lashed, jerking from under Legs' strike then crashing down again with a powerful and heavy blow.
...at least she hadn't been wearing heels anymore...

Sheridan cringed, immediately giving Tess a very apologetic look. Well he hadn't meant to set Legs on fire!
He took a step toward both Legs and Tess, his wings unfurled to their full width, then gave a powerful beat of his wings toward the fiery clothing to put out the flames. Perhaps a less harmful solution than the other of freezing out the flames.
"Sorry about that, I hope you're not injured too badly."
A smile to Tess, he offered his hand, the apology sincere, he would have never wished to harm Tess, either half of her. Though to Legs he may have smirked, hah! Who's the top dog now?
