Sycretism and otherwise blending traditions.

My advice, study everything you can get your hands on and see what overlaps with the different traditions, and don't practice those aspects that cultures would bar you from.

For example- most of the "Domari" aspects of my faith are tied not to Witchcraft, but to the shamanic tradition my Baba practiced. Shamanism is a crosscultural concept. How we go about it is our tradition, but the idea of traveling to the other worlds to further our interests is nothing new.

Not every culture has such strict prohibitions and those secrets we do keep- if kept properly will not come up in a casual search.
