OMG this is really cool. I'm gonna have to tell my little brother who is both a huge Minecraft and Lego fan. He would love to have a creeper!
Also, awesome site! I can finally get the Sokka Lego figure I want....wait, holy crap 20-30 dollars! (it is rare because the set that it came in was only around for a few months and extremely expensive, so I kinda expected it.) Momo is even more expensive! crying
I think I heard about this while I was watching a random video on YouTube and someone briefly mentioned it. Just that I didn't think much about it. However, actually seeing this...really?
I don't have Minecraft, but I have considered getting it to make a few cities from my story, but geez...lego.

$35 is a bit pricey for lego sets, I'm sure most of it is going towards the fact that it's MINECRAFT LEGO.
But yes I am considering buying them, for I love Lego and I think that it would be another cool thing I can add to my "display for the world to see/collect dust on my book shelve". heart

Don't think of it to be too much of a sellout on Lego's part. Here's the story:
A bunch of Lego enthusiasts (there's dozens of thousands) created this website called Cuusoo in which people could upload "Fan Lego Sets" and got Lego to agree to an extraordinary condition: Every month the highest voted set would be submitted to Lego to be considered and discussed to be an official Lego set, and the creators of those sets would receive a royalty for every sale.
Mojang found this out and said "Hey, let's submit a minecraft idea."
Mojang didn't even put up a Minecraft set, they just said "Want minecraft legos?" and uploaded other people's creations (with their permissions of course) as placeholders.
