Jayce Reinhardt Eudaemon In other terms... WHY IS THE US GOVERNMENT SO SCREWED UP? If our founding fathers saw the US today and some of the bills they try to pass/have passed, they would be so sad to see their hard work turned into a oligarchical cesspool with its elected leaders creating and passing very socialistic acts to "benefit the national integrity of the United States and its citizens." So...when is the Civil War 2.0 gonna happen? The fact that most of them are lawyers/former lawyers (who don't know how to use a computer) doesn't help any, I'm thinking.
Yeah...
What makes a lawyer want to become a politician? You have a nice, comfy job...why involve yourself with crappy politics? If I ever make it to law school, I am never, ever, ever becoming a politician.
But we do need some younger people in the government...or at least people who know a thing or two about modern-day society--which involves computers and the internet.

j e l l y p o p l u v Jayce Reinhardt The news only likes to report on certain things. I saw the hang out youtube thing, he didn't really address the question about SOPA OR the UK student extradition.(splg?) Well that sucks balls. Hang out? U mean the group anonymous? There was a hang out thing on youtube where the President was taking questions and answering them.

Oh I never knew about this either. D : I guess the president assumed no one brought the topic up so he just skipped about it. Although, I do wonder what he would've said.

He actually did take a question about SOPA, gave a general non answer and then claimed no responsibility about the UK student.
It was nothing to do with him, it was some other departments responsibility.
Finger pointing is awesome!

I hope he just keeps denying the bill when the time comes so SOPA/ACTA can finally shut the freak up. emotion_dowant

I heard some about it in the news here in Sweden, but sadly, i don't remember it very exactly:
It is a country, probably in eastern or south Europe, that soon is up for election, and someone said that if he is elected, he'll press towards making the "ACTA-or-not" a question to be decided in a public voting.
I wonder, however, how many in that country knows ... or even bother, what ACTA will result in ...
It may be Poland, but i'm clearly not certain ...
